I was looking for something else. The Xbox 360 Headset OEM would be always for an hour or so uncomfortable
use me. The foam / sponge “would interfere with the ear-speaker cover” my ear and the opposite end would be hard plastic digging into the other side of my head.
I had anywhere (searched in Japan) for a cool headset. I did not want one, also played the sound from the game (eg stereo or 5 1 audio)
I have an audio system for it, I just wanted a better communicator headset for talking with friends. < br />
I saw this on a “popular game review site” and went immediately and be lost.
I opened it. It felt like high-quality plastic and rubber. It had a lasting feeling. I was excited. Heck, I could drink and not to move to the MIC.
Perfect, right?
It fit a little tight around my lower neck, but I was able to . circumvent The ear pod was a little large and was deeper than, say, a traditional iPod ear bud.
It was not personal super comfortable, but again, I could deal with it.
; Problem # 1
I plug it into the controller. The plug will not fit super tight and it has that static thing in my ear, it seems like the connection was not made anything.
It felt 3rd-party-ish, if you know what I mean. I had expected it in there somehow plug-and-lock, but it felt too loose for my taste.
Problem # 2
I connect with some friends. They say I sounded bad, too much static, so I looked carefully and noticed that it came with a mute switch to “On” (default, really?).
But when the mute on why could they hear me?
So I switched the mute to “off”.
My friends said I sounded fine with the throat mic. I was actually surprised that they said they could not tell the difference between my voice
with the Mad Catz product and the OEM Xbox headset.
Problem # 3 < , br /> My friends sounded drunk / intoxicated. Their voices sounded terrible. I turned off the OEM Xbox headset and it sounded good. The ear piece had
terrible audio. It sounded like a cheap equipment.
So basically the only good things are I can with him about alcohol and I sound OK, but the other problems were “too much for me. Br /> I can not sufficiently express how I’m bummed that this product is not as good.
Okay, I’ll be packed up and returned.

I knew was not aware of this for sale yet, until I went into my local GameStop today and happened to stumble on their only one available. As a new type of headset I was a bit skeptical. Long story short, it works, how it comes down to.
1) The neck fits nice and cozy. It is not adjustable, as it probably rightly in good contact with your throat. I am of average build and it fits perfectly. Even if you are a bit thin or heavy, I’m sure it will still fit comfortably.
2) The earphones also fit well. Unlike most earbuds, these do not have different sized ear pieces to make it fit better in your ear. The size that is on the field the only size that you get.
3) goes to the left ear earphones, which at first strange creature that I felt an OEM headset for the last 4 years used. Tested
I’ve said it once and my brother, it does not sound as clear as the OEM headset, but it’s still good.
Overall, I can no reason not to get it to think. There are a variety of options for headsets is that cost less, but not quite as funny as this. If you spend the $ 30, go for it.

I loved the feeling and look of this headset. I thought the idea was so great, but if say in it with my friends that I do not sound like I am, and they always tell me to turn off my microphone because there is too much hiss and echo sounds. This happens all the time, it never changes so I recommend this headset does not always mean that only goes to encounter problems.

Tested this thing several ways and the results were the same.
First no one answered me with several adjustments on the volume control and mute switch. So I have to system link (I have a line in a separate room for my friends when to bring their field and they can use addicted to another TV, so we have to use microphones.) And nothing but static and a loud hum on systems. If background noise, but not my voice.
The throat piece is not adjustable, but comfortable after you set it. But since no one can hear me. . . no matter how it fits.
between my Turtle Beach X1 on, the microphone has extremely uncomfortable and then this. /> Same problems every time with the throat mic.
Ironically, the name of snow in the annex to this product link is located right on the mark, that’s all hear in every game.

I decided to buy this microphone because I was curious how well it worked. With what mixed reviews seem to be online, I thought I would find out himself. I will break the good and bad points so it is very easy to see where exactly this seems a microphone, and where not.
The good:
cool design – it’s really fun to wear this microphone, because it is not only cooler than with a big over the ear microphone on his head, but it’s rather pleasant to wear. I can not say that you do not notice it because you certainly do, and I could see that it take too angry for some people, but it’s not for me.
Great listener – the audio is coming through the earpiece loud and clear. I say out loud, because when I first used it I had the volume down about halfway, because my ears almost exploded. The handset as a “one size would be described fits most” but if you are like me and have a pair of ear plugs with replaceable rubber ear cups, you could on the stock market for a receiver this swap.
< br /> Build Quality – the quality of workmanship is done surprisingly well. I’m not sure if I got a newer version of the MIC, or what, but I do not know how anyone can argue that the headphone jack does not “snap” in your controller, as it does for me. I do not even have a problem with the jack falls out of the slot, but I guess if you could make your controller or something, threw it out then. You can also use it with most phones.
The Bad:
Average Poor Voice Quality – This is the only reason why I would not give this mic a 5 star rating. In using this mic, I realize how much it picks up background noise. If you’re like me and use surround sound, or just have your TV turned on loud, the microphone will pick up a large amount of background noise. I note in particular that my microphone blinded display on my screen while I’m with stun grenades, shooting my gun, or when explosions are near. If you ever hear a cheaper Bluetooth microphone, then you should get a good idea of what sounds like this microphone. Because of the way it is designed, the microphone actually does everything in the room, instead of just your voice.
The voice quality is really the only negative aspect of this microphone, and it is really shame because it could be a piece of equipment even if this is not such an issue. It does not bother me, but I know what it is like someone with a mic is loud, and his play very, very angry.

If you get the microphone is muted by default, so make sure you turn the mute button before using it, or nobody is able to hear it used. I have also noticed that when I wear the piece that goes around the neck when I wear it higher on my neck, my voice is sounding very dull, and all my words seem to move together. When wearing the mic at the base of my neck, it is as it seems, makes a dramatic difference in my voice quality.
Overall, I would say that this microphone a decent alternative to the standard Xbox mic, but I do not know if I really used it a lot, because I hate the fact that it takes up so much bg noise, and I know that to my teammates to hit me in the face for it.
