The Nerf Armor NDSL case, you can protect your Nintendo DS Lite at the right price. have to use Over time, I bought a few of these to me for giving and as gifts. Hands down, my favorite event has DSL. It has many advantages and few disadvantages.
One case is really necessary equipment for any DS purchase, and this is one that definitely should be top on your list. The original solid color cases, such as the Nintendo DS Black Nerf Armor, are scarce, but now these two color combinations are available.
The biggest problem with this case has little to do with quality. It is simply impossible to consistently find color combination you want, what is a bigger deal when you buy this for your children. Try to be flexible with the color, as you can.
Pros + Durable Nerf material provides a nice secure cushion to your NDS protect
A big worry + free choice for children
+ Great design leaves open access to your stylus, controls and game slots!
+ Cool color options including black, blue, pink, white and gray
+ affordable price (although I imagine it might, for sale from time to time to go)
+ Light Nerf material feels good in the hand, a true Play-thru case
Cons – Adds a lot of size by the thick padding
– something difficult to remove
– All available Colors not listed here at Amazon and are hard to find
This case fulfills the two biggest requirements in a game case for your Nintendo DS Lite.
; First, this Nerf material has to be some. As such, this case is by far the best when subjected to drop test. Instead of cracking the case, the material is slightly padded bounce and in most cases keep your NDS intact.
Second, this case is designed with open space to all those controls, game slots and the main features of your game player. These vacancies are for the headphone jack, volume control and a pen! My first game at not have this feature, and it’s taken me three cases that end up on this.
The main drawback of this guy is the additional thickness of the case. At this size they could have added more extras. In addition, it seems that some colors are not sold on Amazon, namely the gray.
Still, does this case work at a fair price. The Armor-Lite Joytech case also has slots for your gear and is much less bulky. Nintendo DS Lite Armor Case no Lite But this case, the same level of protection as the Nerf material is.
If you’re like me and protects your case is priority # 1, get this case! If you need a little slimmer and less bulky, the clear armor-lite should be on your list. Are
Enjoy!

We bought this case for our 5-year-old son, the new DS. I’m really pleased with it so far.
The fit of the housing is very good. It has an inner layer of hard plastic that fits directly against the DS. The inner layer is surrounded by a thick layer of foam nerf. This seems to be how it really good drop protection. He does well, and the cutouts for the various buttons and slots are nice size.
The only drawback to virtually every case, and this seems to be no exception to the hinge. There is virtually no padding on the hinge and are in all the plastic parts on the case also at risk. It appears that a drop is in this area may end up breaking the case or the DS hinge. You’ll find this issue on as pretty much any case, though.
The extra-thick padding on this case is really nice for peace of mind. It is also conveniently designed so that when playing the DS, it still feels good (or better if you have adult hands). The excerpts are also angled, so that they get wider toward the outer edge of the case. This is a good thing – it guides your fingers on the button, pin, etc, and it also makes sure there are no 90-degree angle to get caught or picked. The total thickness of the foam makes the DS more than a bulky hard case or a silicone case, so you probably will not want to be it is better in your pocket any more, but the advantage is that this case, it seems, is to protect against than the other types.
I know about long-term cleanliness of the case wonder. It’s Nerf foam, so it dirty or worn. Nerf balls also tend to degrade in the left in the heat or sun. Hopefully we will also take care of for the DS better than a Nerf ball, so it does not install too much of a concern.
Once, it is very safe. My son tried to fend for themselves, but in fact it was in part to the head, I had a really hard time, get it back out, implement it on the right. Once out, they installed very easily and has not worked since. I recommend this case.

The case is so strong it really protects your ds but if you’re like me and want your hardware in perfect condition (and I mean, without having to buy a scratch not). After a few weeks with the case, I have decided to take it out clean my ds and I was not surprised that I found scratches on the lid. The problem is that the case leaves a little space between the DS and protect it with dust particles between the two and put your DS gets scratched.
* Edited * But if the scratches were the only problem. . want.
Some people on the fact that I keep intact my DS while I’m on the road or play with them mumbled. Well, if you are happy with this case or you have a 7-year-old who can not keep, can the DS in hand, good for you, but it is a big problem with this case.
I I use it for a while by the lack of a better option, but I finally found the perfect case for my DS in Japan. The problem is that the nerf is so difficult – it is really a defense – that it almost broke the top cover of my DS, which I think have now, so it will not fall behind. But do not think it is a ‘24hour “process is, it takes a while, and it will gradually feel your Nintendo.
Trust me, as I did in the previous review of the product and some people wrote decided to bash it, I take care of my things. And this case will cost you more than you expect.

I have this case for Christmas, and immediately opened it and stuck my crimson and black DS Lite in it. It is the wonderful feeling of comfortable NERF foam, and its silver plastic protects the inside DS well. A little too well. When I tried to remove the case to play Guitar Hero: On Tour, it would not be achieved. I searched the field for the removal instructions, no one in sight. I searched the internet for help and struggled with the case several hours before I got out. If I get it done, they left silver paint marks all over my DS. Fortunately, it comes with a little water.
CASE Removal Instructions ————————– ——-< br />
1 Pull the hinges out of their holes on each side of the DS and slide the top half of the housing up and out of the DS. You should have the top half from now.
2 Turn off the DS to the side so the power button is turned away from you. Push up on the pin hole and slide the tab of the DS you stop at the same time. should come out a corner of the DS.
3 Push should get out the rest of the tabs and the DS.
4 Scrub of the color patches on your DS if necessary with a damp cloth.
————————- ——————— —————————< br />
So, fast forward and disadvantages:
== == PROS
+ Protects the DS drops
; + Cushy NERF foam feels great
+ All ports and buttons remain accessible
+ Usual aggressive-NERF-lined design
== == CONS < br /> – to remove a nightmare
– paint leaves marks on the DS
– Adds tons of bulk
– NERF is only on the plastic stuck inside
< ; not br /> A great case for someone who tends to wreck their electronics easily, and would want to take it off. Otherwise, buy, not the case.

I bought two of these (black and pink) about eighteen months, when they were made by Pelican. Our own on my DS Lite it is good but on my 6-year-old daughter, began to come apart when we recently replaced their system does not (surprisingly, given the hundreds of hours she has played), I purchased her a new one in the white and gold colors. Within days it was crumbling. I thought it was a stroke of luck, so I bought a replacement and another for my 5-year-old in the blue and white model shown here. Now they are both coming apart to be used within a week!
I do not know whether PDP is the new name for Pelican, but what about the history of their production, crumbling three units on a line tells me the quality of the foam is gone right down the tubes. Besides, if I went to the PDP Web site, they want me on the defective equipment back e-mail at my cost at $ 8 each for the return postage. This is as much as a substitute in the trade! They have also posted a contact form or e-mail warranty for the support.
I used to recommend this product to any I knew who to buy a DS Lite, but no more. The quality has deteriorated to the point of uselessness. I am actively shopping for a decent replacement from another manufacturer.
