I got my Dreamcast A / V cable, (Yes I know, shame) and I needed a replacement and it works quite well. I will, however, agree with the assessments that the state vocal cords seem cheap made, but as long as you treat them properly, is that no daily insertion and removal or pulling the strings, pull, will it last.

This cable was a piece of shit, first of all, it is not even come in a box, the second is the very thin wires on this thing, I thought I wanted simply by plugging in to break other then that it does not work all the time how the device can not decide which video out, so I just get going nothing but audio. Do not buy this. . . .

I think that the cable from the ship they came for the Dreamcast as mine yesterday, and much different than what has changed has been described in other reviews. Some have stated that the cable does not come in a box and the cables were rather thin and weak, whereas my professionally packaged and sealed and the cable is very bulky and was durable. The image quality seems great with this cable and I’ve not have any problems with it after a solid day of use. I would recommend this for anyone who broke forgotten their original AV cable, and can not find a replacement.

I have two of these cables Dreamcast on two different TV’s with two different systems. The S-Video never worked, but the A / V was in order. My original A / V cables are OK, so what I was looking for was an S-Video cable. So I was very unhappy with this product and the fact that if the S-Video connected I was only a fuzzy black and white image. If you are only looking for A / V cable, this product in order. If you want S-Video, as I was, this is not for you.

I do not know why people complain about how it is made cheaply. Who cares, as long as it works, who is about how they look or how they take care of.
