Yes, it is 480p. So what?
When I played Zelda pre-component cable, it looked good. There is no point here in comparison to the Xbox 360 or PS3, because they do not try to do HD. . .
However, when I put the cable on component, I noticed an immediate improvement in the detailing of the game. It is not true HD, but it’s definitely improved, what you see when you are on an HD TV. I would recommend this to anyone.

Fantastic value. Is exactly what it should be. The plastic / rubber of the cable is slightly sticky feeling, which is mildly annoying, because I have to go with my DVD-Cable relatively common, but there is no cheaper way to get from the Wii component.

Why pay $ 20 – $ 30 for the same cable? This cable works just as well, I had bought an expensive cable and then this. The result: the same high quality of picture and sound. The other cables went back to the store and I saved about $ 20.

delivered in a timely manner, this cable make a noticeable difference over the composite cable that comes with the Wii. I can not see where the payment is no longer a cable no longer make a difference. The Wii is in a noisy environment and there is no signal loss with this cable.

This product works just great and it came faster than expected. But, as someone noted eairlier, the cable does not stretch very far, and it is for me to reach my TV and surround-sound receiver at the same time impossible. If you are looking for large picture and are not worried then about the surround sound, this is the perfect thing.
