I have long since Guitar Hero (GH) player. And after the game Rock Band 1 a few months ago, I found it funny, but hard to hit the notes as easily as I can with GH.
Recently I was with the new Rock Band 2 (RB2) guitar at my local electronics shop and fell in love with the wood paneled burst body and neck. So I put my pre-order and received it today. . . .
I’m in love. I love the robust and non-clicky strum bar (I hated the “click-click” sound of the Strum GH). The frets give out a noise, but not so bad. You feel good, but are more difficult to keep your place as easy as GH. The feeling of the guitar is beautiful and feels like quality in your lap or hang from your shoulder. The nice sleek lines of the guitar is even better to see if you do not see play. The whammy is almost identical with the Whammy Bar GH but a bit longer. The start button is recessed nicely and the PS3 button and the Connect button are well designed.
I was really relieved to see that the standalone RB2 guitar is in fact the wood burst body design and not the black RB2 guitar, which is included in the RB2 bundle. I am very pleased and I have officially crossed from GH to RB. The guitar looks like a real Fender Start and for possession of this guitar, GH guitars look like a cheap 5 year old toy.

As I said in the heading if you do not like the last – that is, if you hated it, so many people – not you go to this as well not.
usually Harmonix tweaked the things that most people complain about and has a few plush features, as well.
first to strumbar is: it strumbar still a start, but it is a much better defined range of motion and comes to a full and final stop in each direction. It is still soft and noiseless, but it should be people to be the original “found muddy appease.”
Second, the fret buttons: still a bit clicky, though much quieter. You do not really know that according to “snap-back” clack when you press, as you share some with the guitar not from the original game.
Third, you can either prior to a game, so if you just want to upgrade to your RB guitar for now, this will do it for you. I really recommend jumping up to RB2, though.
Now, the additional functions has
The wireless dongle a little something extra about this time: two USB ports so that they function as a hub and a dongle. Makes it possible to hook up four instruments on a two-USB-port system without the use of an external hub.
Auto-calibration (RB2 only) is wonderful feature: select menu, hold the guitar up to your speakers, then they hold up to your TV and you are calibrated. It has worked absolutely perfectly for me and I’m actually play and succeed because of it. Are
The rest of the pretty much cosmetic changes and very low. I think this controller looks more beautiful than the original, but the ones I have (which came with the special edition) is not a flame burst design, just the usual black.

No question, this is of course the guitar you should spend money. I have played with other guitars, and they simply do not respond the same way, nor are constructed with durability in mind. If you have or be in possession of the original Rock Band Fender Start, you know, it was not a good guitar. Harmonix has really a great job in retooling the guitar. The Strum Bar is more robust, and the neck action is smoother, quieter breaking the frets, and plastic products is a great tool! The guitar is really made for the authenticity, in contrast to GH guitars, which to me seems like a simple toy, and thick. With this upgrade, Harmonix really met one out of the park.
NOT BUY guitar an imitation! You will not regret the money you will perish in the IT!

Too bad the game “kit” comes with a guitar, if you must, of course 2! I tried another budget guitar, and finally bought this one when the feelings of others have proved uncomfortable and difficult. Save money and buy them from the beginning.

The standalone guitar, which I received on the first malfunction. I contacted the manufacturer, though, and could get a free replacement. It took a little time, but the replacement looks great and works perfectly. The manufacturer’s website is very user friendly and the process was pretty easy to get a replacement without too much effort.
Of course, my rating would be higher, I had received a working product in the first place. =)
