It works! The controllers are nice, although not quite as heavy as the real SNES counterpart.
The Retro Duo Twin System itself is hard and has excellent ventilation for heat control. It has all my old games so much as Contra, Super Mario Kart, Mortal Kombat, etc. played
My big complaints that the NES game cartridges hard to eject (you have to really tug to get it free) and that some games like the colors and sounds seem, are not emulated 100% (Super Mario Bros 3 for example.) This is particularly a problem with the part of the system NES, SNES side of the retro Twin duo has so far worked flawlessly.

I bought this more for the NES-side in the hope that it is better than my side loading is broken, do the NES. First, I am impressed by the concept and the top-loading design. First game I threw it was Life Force for NES and it worked immediately without blowing it or reset. After the game for a while I noticed that most of the sound effects were off. Many of them were later defeated, and the music seemed to labor at times and even whole notes are missing completely. The game itself seemed to work well but I couldnt get over the sound difference. Needless to say, that I made another one and I nes2 Toploader got off ebay for a little longer. Still a good product, but not for those who want to substitute a real NES, there is no substitute. Great Idea, but not quite there.

I thought I would never on the old NES and SNES games to play again without hissing fit in one! This duo retro game works great so far. No problems and it looks too cool. I have the black and red. The price was right at $ 40. 00 Remember, if you have a joystick or other controls you have to want to buy the SNES version!
Come with an adapter to use with the NES controller, but not sure when. I would recommend this product!

If you have any NES or SNES games, this is the device for you. It is more convenient than using a single unit. I know there are a lot of new game systems, but there are a lot of people who like NES. If so, then this device for you.

I bought this system in the hopes of getting a decent working conditions NES system. The SNES slot was just a bonus for me and would allow me to keep my SNES stock, instead of using it further. Here are pros and cons I’ve found.
Pros: It works. It seems to play SNES games more or less smoothly. NES games work too, but not quite as good. The system is small and hooks up with regular cable, so you need not worry about a proprietary connection to make it up to your TV set connected. It uses SNES accessories so that you can regularly SNES controller instead of the crap that it comes with.
Cons: I went through two systems and Amazon Customer Service was doing to me rather than a refund send me a third System to try. (Buy through this service was exceptional all just for the record). My first system and get a good job, but there was some static banding really annoyed me in the video signal. I thought it had some bad connection on the inside, so I returned it and got a replacement. Two days later, I tested the second. This had the same banding, but I found that reduced only connect to the RCA video cable S-video instead of this static. I decided initially to retain the system and to tolerate only. But then I tried some NES games. I found the NES slot as extremely tense. It was difficult to get games back from the system. Finally, I tried Castlevania and the game did not work. I had to take it very difficult to play out again and if I had pulled the pins in the NES slot from the slot.
Conclusion: It works, and seemed to work well before the NES slot broke. The difficulties in the NES slot for cooperation has steered me away this time.
