  1. Was not going to leave a review, but, how to write the first man did not even own one and gave it one star for the delayed reason or another (because people pay 400 on ebay?), I thought, I should /> a certain equilibrium as someone who is actually one itself.

I originally said that I do not believe this stick would be better than the HRAP3 SA, and I am still that, though. I do not think it is better, but I do not believe it either even worse. Both drives have a solid arcade feel, and both use real Sanwa parts. The color scheme of this one is still growing on me, but I could end this one kind of art mod later. . .

Anyway, I eat my words, Mad Catz actually a good controller for once, haha. The fact that Mad Catz has made something on par with what has to offer in my opinion the best arcade stick Hori, absolutely crazy for me, but it seems to be true. You do not know how this floor was so good and the SE version is so full of questions. . . .

  2. This fight stick is amazing, but certainly not worth anything above the original price. It is equipped with high-quality Japanese parts and is so far above the Standard Edition

Mad Catz promised to fight more of these sticks and they also make out that their goal for all who one wants to have one is. Do not be stupid and not get ripped off. Be patient, poles are not limited. More are coming to camp as time goes by.

  3. This is my first Stick Fighting, and so far I have not had any problems at all. The fight should stick to fighting games, such as MK DC Universe, Soul Calibur 4, and are used with any course vs Street Fighter game. I feel relieved that I do not use PS3 controller no longer, because it is easier to do combos and my thumb does not hurt more.

FYI, if you Street Fighter 4 insert disc into your PS3 make sure you go -> “Options” -> “System Settings is” -> “Install. This to improve load times and online games.

I was lucky, this fight stick in the retail price ($ 149) receive, because I pre-order this product in early December. However, it is regrettable when trying third party vendors, the Street Fighter IV Tournament Fight Stick with triple and quadruple sale price from the original decision. If MadCatz to make no more, I recommend to look elsewhere. For example, I believe came with the Playstation 3 Hori Real Arcade Pro. Fighting Stick 3, or a company called, Arcade-in are-a-box. I heard these two companies are fighting sticks well done – a Google search.

Having said that this is a top-quality stick, and you will not be disappointed.

  4. I would say do not try to “reinvent the wheel” each, but strengthen the positive reviews already out there. If you have not read IGN review (Note: It is for the 360, but the product is similar to 99%, so that you get the idea) there are a lot of reading material out there. Everything you need to do is to search for “Stick Fight Tournament Review.”

Anyway, I’m had the chance to sit down and finally see what all the hype was all about the joystick . Please note, this is my first joystick so I can not to know the experiences of others, good or bad I have to say to the good sense of what is quality and what is not. Here’s what to know: the keys and you need to keep seeping quality. You feel and listen to great. This is the perfect arcade cabinet Viewlix such high quality parts are for granted. As it has Sanwa parts you do not have to worry about changes. The plastic shell case, not on a real high-end feel, but does the job quite well. My biggest gripe in terms of quality has to do with a USB storage door. Granted, I opened the door only two times, but I was nervous both times to break out of nothing. I would advise owners of the store door with care.

For PSX/PS2/PC compatibility I have not tried with PSX/PS2 games, so I can not say, though I think I remember people say it does not work with PS2 games. PSX maybe okay, but do not quote me on it. As for PC I plugged it in (64-bit Vista on an Intel-based system), and after a short period of driver installation, I was good to go. This is great for MAME or Mugen or whatever else fits in this category Gaming.

If you are looking for a quality joystick, and place your hands on one I recommend one of these to get.

    Update 11th June 2009:

I have used this joystick for two weeks and I can not emphasize enough how much I enjoy playing games with her. There is an initial learning curve for people who have used strictly console controllers all her life, but it is certainly worth waiting.

A little warning about this joystick: scratches on the clear plastic that sits on the art! From one angle of the joystick looks clean, shiny and smooth. From another angle you hundreds of micro-scratches can spot across the face. Also I have found rubbing the black ring at the base of the stick, the plastic in the wrong direction and is a circle surrounding scratches to leave it. All of these cosmetic issues do not affect the gameplay in any way. If you prefer, you can always apply something smooth under the black ring to prevent it before you start with the stick. Avoid using rubber or anything that the stick would move freely limit.

I’m not a big fan of the cable storage door, but I have to open and close so hopefully not snap at me right after my 90-day warranty is accustomed.

    Update 14th August 2009:

I decided to guarantee a little more than a week away from her error flow in the interest of the test, as it would be easy, new buttons, and a new ball, especially since I top they have in Japan (yes, I have to install’m bragging a little). Some of the quick disconnects can be difficult to remove with your fingers, so I recommend you get a slot to the connector solved at the bottom and gently tug on the metal part to remove it or use tongs, back on the metal part. NOT pull on the cables! I ended up replacing the white buttons and white marble top with red counterparts (Sanwa same models: OSBF buttons and LB-35 bullet above), replacing the two black keys with white All in all it was for purely aesthetic. I hope I will be posting on an image. I just happened to buy another JLF joystick, but it is only for backup.

Modification is not at all bad, but as I have it not necessary, since you said quality parts. If you are looking to change your fightstick Do some research guide, if you have never done this type of thing before.

With the new $ 130 Amazon price tag I do not see how turning it down.

  5. When I saw the great price on this drive recently saw, I gave up and ordered it. I just get it if one of Super Street Fighter 4 coming, but I would change my mind keep in the last minute. The two newer models, maybe this was not as good as that? After reading that they are essentially the same, but with different looks, it just sealed the deal with the price drop. If you are tired have a problem with special moves, thanks to the PS3 D-pad with separate buttons for each direction, this will definitely help.

Right out of the box worked, everything was perfect (and smelled good). The stick is not as difficult as some knew it sounded, and not shift when you put him on a table or on the lap. The button layout is perfect, although I’m sure with a few games (like SSF2HDR), you must change the button configuration in the game to make everything right for you. Playback of HD Remix with the stick was much easier than with the controller, although I thought it would take some time, since I rarely play games in arcades over the years to complete. The keys have rounded tips, and I prefer it this way on buttons to go the way inside. The cable is a good length, and if you have a massive TV far away from your bed, I do not think anyone there are complaints about too short.

There were some complaints about the stick with a square gate was, and as an octagonal or rounded is better for certain characters (the ones that are circular orders for special moves instead of the survey). I noticed the square gate immediately when I moved the stick around, and was a little concerned that it could ruin special moves, but of course there were no problems. Would not this Fight Sticks have lower ratings if that were the case? I was pulling Hurricane Kicks and punches Dragon right away. My only gripe is a small, and it is that I do not like how everything is clicky. This is probably only because I do not play arcade a lot, but also the stick clicks, and that’s not something I remember hearing on each cabinet. “No big deal but notice, and since you are concentrating on the game, I doubt anyone will.

What else to say? While the newer models might look cool, and they-are-a little smaller, this is excellent Fight Stick and since you’ll save a good amount of money, you could just as well to go with him, as it is a little heavier. you can always adapt them, as there with the Super Hardcore fans of arcade stick was made in the spirit, and opening up is easy. But for those who just want to buy an arcade stick and play at the opening, it is difficult to recommend any other about this for the price. Good job Mad Catz. And here I thought the only good what they did, was the light gun for 3rd House of the Dead
