Yes, it is expensive but you have used it, you can not live without it. With a hat switch to look around in air combat simulations can not just move your head naturally to pan around as if you compare in the plane. Once you own one, flying without it is just not worth it. Do yourself a favor and buy one. I bought directly from the TrackIR website. You can get a better deal by buying from Amazon or Amazon.

I fly Microsoft Flight Sim X as an opportunity to fly my head while I can not afford to keep my real life certificate exersize. I wanted one of these for a while, and while waiting, put the new version 5 Point Natural I finally bought it and all I can say is “WOW!” Is not
Okay, all I can say. When the package arrived quickly I would add, from GoGamer, I was surprised at the size of the box. It was well over-packed and protected from the rigors of shipping. The actual device is quite small. Unpacking from the bubble package is lighter than the normal bubble packaging also. I wanted to wait for Christmas, he sat under the tree, etc., but the children are easy to understand!
Setup is a breeze. Install the software from the site, then put them on all. It just works. I took one of the standard profiles and flew. It was wonderful to look at the airplane, although I habitually the hat switch, the now largely useless. I do not even have all the settings, profiles, or adjusted anything, but the flies is 100% better investigated. I turned my head to see where the run! Simple thing, but so, so important for realism. Imagine leaning forward to see and the radio, or turn the OBS knob to a specific setting or craned his neck to see above the line better. I hope today to explore the settings a bit more. I took a profile that really moves well. I need to expand the “dead zone” not only make a little bit so my head movements to fly into what my wife calls a Puke contest. It is not natural.
The only difficulty I had previously tried to buttons for “Center” and “pause” have assigned to my Saitek yoke. I have not figured out how to make it work depicted. Conclusion: This track IR Nobel Peace Prize. It is an outstanding product. Even when using the default settings I am still, it’s a huge improvement over the use hatswitch for panning, the + and – buttons to zoom in, type Shift + lift my head, etc. It is only get better for me than I my personal profile settings. If you are not yet on it, sold read Flight Sim forum for opinions. There are videos on YouTube you can watch them in action. No one says they do not like it. Compared with the TrackIR v4, v5 is the smoothie, and in general you do not on “Center” very often need. You also have more room to move your head, especially when leaning. Considering that already v4 is a 5 star device in my opinion, can not go wrong with v5. If you have an update to v4, there is really no need, but if you go for your first TrackIR, please do not buy – v5.

This thing is awesome! I use FSX and after it makes the whole flying experience much more realistic. The ability to look around and not only with a firm, instead of a camera really enhances the experience. Worth every penny.
