GENERAL:
(PLEASE NOTE: This review is for the cable while using a PS3, I did not have a Wii to test it with)
< , br /> I bought it because I used and I didn’t want to be a HDTV, if I’m already using a 19 “monitor for my laptop I buy. I was pleasantly surprised at all the subtle features with this cable. He came with a gender adapter for the cable, a life saver for me was because I want to have did not order the cable pull every time I switched between my laptop and PS3. Also noteworthy is the expansion of the audio cable to even a headphone jack! (diamonds recording far as in concerned because I can play my PS3 without waking up people!) And now the bad points: Like my biggest peeve was the installation. It requires that you hook the cable television and the PC monitor silmantaneously when you install it. This is frustrating, especially because it gives you very little room between the cable-AV connector and the VGA connector. I was forced to keep the TV with one hand and adjust the settings because I couldnt get the lines between TV and monitor different. And now the Ugly: In theory, these adapters all the way up to 1080p support. But there is only one cable, and it does its own dedicated box your pictures look a little washed out, the picture was also dark on both monitors, I was tempted, even after I set brightness and contrast, and the worst have to adjust the screen controls with your monitor to make the image fit properly … something, do what you will, almost every time you add another game or movie. 720p gave me the best results on the two monitors I tried this cable. (19 and 21 inch LCD monitors) < br />
PROS:
-effective solution for Hi-Def Experience
-99% Artifact Free Image
-inclusion of gender-adapter was a nice courtesy
headphone jack into a popular add-on
Great Value As you can
CONS: < br /> image appears a little faded, but still significantly improved over the standard AV cable.
Missing Dedicated field means that the image manually rebasing… often… < br /> initial setup is clunky and frustrating.
Even after adjustment, you are sometimes forced to leave parts of the screen are cut off.
; Total:
I was somewhat disappointed with the overall package. I have a VGA adapter for Dreamcast, and possession XBX360 and both would beat the snot out of this cable. The fact that I see my image manually each time had changed resolutions wasn’t only frustrating, but it seemed ridiculous. However, on the same reason I enjoy my PS3 games in high def on an HDTV without the moolah to spend. With this cable it was for me between my stereo or a pair of headphones that can easily switch easily. Overall it was a decent buy for the price, but I hope some other companies (or God forbid even Sony!) Where it is intensified and release something better in the future. Get It , if you make an HDTV cannot or just the free space, etc. But if you have a HDTV handy, just spring for the official Sony component cable, you’ll have much happier I promise.

SUMMARY: To avoid
this cable, buying a TV, so I bought a Wii games. first tried on an old generic LCD monitor, and had many problems with the adaptation of the location of the image on the screen. Factory Reset finally centered the picture, but picture was still dim to full brightness and contrast.
Next tried on my main monitor, a Samsung 2253BW. Looked very good. Audio connections are short, but they contain an extension (female to female RCA 8.1 inches.) Failed to show are not available widescreen mode, such as widescreen, entry appeared as squished widescreen image that is more likely an signal/monitor- problem as a cable problem. An error while Mario Kart Wii, if someone uses the light gun, the screen goes black as if the cable cannot deal with the flash. Other than that, no problems.
Summary:
Pros: Works on
far to monitor on a newer, higher end. No other options for VGA input at this price. Clear picture, do not turn off bugs to play nice.
Cons: If you plan to play the audio through the computer’s sound card plug, you will be an adapter (RCA female to male 8.1 ” required.) Screen goes in Mario Kart used when lighting black weapon (guess flashes do not agree with the cable.)
Total works well with a new monitor when you with a few minor Bugs can avoid if you do not have space or money for the TV, and have a brighter screen, I would recommend it.

Note: This cable works perfectly for the one I have, etc.. . If you do the PS3 go to Settings, and select Terminal D display, so you can get displayed in 720p or higher. I would recommend is to 720p to 1080i and p not be suitable for an analog connection. For the Wii it works wonders just like a normal component cables for the system. You have to do with Wii is just connect it correctly and it should automatically be in 480p. This device is good for the consumers who would use their PC monitors for a high-res image.
Pros: Works with
any PC monitor with VGA input is male. (Note that this VGA cable has a female edition)
Can 720p and 480p for the PS3 with Wii without trouble getting big image
Cons:
Sometimes, when certain Wii games like Call of Duty World at War, Mario Kart, the screen is black when you are killed / hit by an explosion
could distort the image when Full HD on a monitor trying to do
you may need to adjust your monitor to the screen to get the right image.

I have these hooks and tried it up to an NEC computer mointor if I had some friends over. It did not work. After about 20 minutes reading the instructions, I have to work. If you absolutely can not get this works, try what I did:
I went to the little television in the living room and plugged the green cable to the yellow video connector on the back . Turned the Wii went on and the settings for the resolution. Switch to EDTV (the top choice). Click Confirm. The TV should be divided into two screens.
Next, bring the Wii to monitor to your computer. First, turn on the Wii, then on the monitor. You should keep your signal.
The contrast is a little bland and the colors are not amazing, but worth the price if you avoid the purchase of an HDTV or do not own a television, as I will.

If you have a further confirmation, if they have to work with the Wii, it worked on my
Before checking Amazon, I checked with Best Buy, Fry’s and Game Stop. They all said, there is no such cable for this. So I’m so glad this thing works!
Anyway, I thought at first that it was not going to work. I had to change the video settings on the Wii 480p (EDTV), which was initially disabled.
Then again I had to carefully read the manual to know what to do To activate the settings. After that it was properly on my VGA monitor!
Hope this helps.
