I bought an Xbox 360 Elite as a birthday gift for my husband, we use it every day looking movies or play games! After two years we got the red ring of death! Yes, we were very excited, we thought that we need to go buy a whole new system. We called Microsoft and they sent us mailing labels. We sent him back, they covered ALL of the costs! Although they say that it may take three weeks until the product is returned, it was only two weeks! They sent us back our console work like new! Plus one months free subscription to Xbox Live for the inconvenience. My point is yes, the red ring of death is done! Yes, if people know that they buy the Xbox, that there is a chance it could happen. But Microsoft, through its product and correct the problem at no cost to you and send you free to ask for your order. That is more then I can say for many companies. I am very happy with the Xbox 360 Elite with Microsoft for standing by their products!

My son absolutely loves the game and you can never know that it renovated. Others who have played the game before with nothing but compliments. The only think that would have been nice if the packaging is more like it was new. It was not in the original packaging, hard to explain, packed on Christmas morning. Other that that little nit pick I am totally happy with my purchase.

the product was defective out of the box.
I had no idea how big the game fun, or because we do not, could something with it will have.
The company we bought it from was very vague about the solution of the problem, it took many, many emails for them to recover the goods and the refund of the money.
It took me almost thirty dollars, the thing back to them and they do not ship offering to pay for the shipping costs. I paid over thirty dollars for the shipping and in the end had absolutely nothing to show for it except for some very bad memories of a Christmas present that I am unable to give was my nephew. A terrible experience. Do not buy anything from Uncle Vic.

After opening the Xbox, we used it once and it worked. For the second time, there were 74 error message. will be fixed. I will never buy a refurbished item again. and because of Christmas and the company we are warrenty cannot find info if it has been included at all

I bought the Xbox 360 Elite Gamesboutike for $ 230. 00 in August 2009. It was listed on Amazon used – like new. December 2009, the device showed an error message E74. Per Microsoft classes, I sent the unit in for repair. Microsoft returned the unit a few weeks later stating that that the Xbox has been modified or tamperred with, so the warranty was invalid. MS dispute resolution center to advise that I have my dispute with the dealer who sold me the device should take if I did not tamper with it has. According to MS’s advice I contacted Gamesboutike through Amazon. Gamesboutike responded and asked me to send in the device, and that they would try to repair the equipment yourself. About a few weeks later, after I shipped the unit to Gamesboutike, she said that irreparably damage the device due to some reason Xclamp was, and it is nothing else they can do for me. I responded to Gamesboutike to let them know that I am the sole owner of the Xbox and I am sure that the device is never tampered with in any way and that I expect a full refund or a replacement. Gamesboutike never responded back to me, nor did it ever again the Xbox.
The good thing for me is that I get a receipt and document all my messages in terms of my discussion with MS and Gamesboutike and took the dispute to the Credit Card Company, which I used to buy. After three months of the current dispute with a follow-up phone call every two weeks or so with the credit card company, they finally agree to spend a full refund to my credit card when they take their dispute with the merchant’s bank. Hooray!
Although Gamesboutike has 96% positive rating, if I buy the Xbox, but from my experience with this company, I would never buy anything from them again. The concept of caveat emptor rule apply here with this provider.
