  1. If you play on XBox Live, then you need a headset. Most games include voice coordination between people on the same team, and sometimes even talks with your enemies.

I’m not sure why my experience was so different from the previous reviews. Maybe they got an older version of the headset? It definitely seems to be the same unit – made by Microsoft for the Xbox 360, the basic model.

This headset is relatively inexpensive and has a padded headphones and microphone. The headphones are adjustable in order to have the headband part contract and expand. This makes it possible to fit larger and smaller heads. The microphone rotates so that the device can be worn on the left or right. It only turns up slightly at an angle of 90 degrees, though, so we force the headset with the band right to take up over your head. At this point, the microphone is pretty much directly in front of my mouth (I prefer a bit lower) and the opposite-side “Enchant” part is digging into the skin just above my non-earphoned ear.
< br /> I do not know what it is with this headset creator – but at its lowest setting, the device is still too large for several adults I know. That makes it even worse for children and young people! That being said, I have found this problem with a lot of headsets, so it’s something you have to do now.

a relatively long cable, connector and it is right into the base of your controller. It does not work at all interfere with wireless controllers. The base part has a mute button and a volume control.

I did not have any problem listening to all the other players when I was online – their voices were very clear. In addition, the unit fit very firmly into the ground – I have no problems with static or dropped signals. In fact, for a while, I was let my friend drive in PGR3 as I said in the headphone / mic, and even with the cord that stretched between us I could hear fine. Other players could hear me. I have not noticed any problems with the delay, our conversations went back and forth pretty quickly.

  2. A headset is a must for any 360 online games have. You will find it difficult to someone on your friends list to receive, without one, but you really do not need that headset.

I agree that is not the official headset, the largest , and some people may not be the best of care with them, but I can say that 3 of them in my apartment, 2 are almost a year old, and they are all purchased as well as on the first day. You need only recognize that they are not very durable and treat them as such.

If the route by a third party headset (no cell phone headset will not work), I highly recommend that you get one with an in-line volume control and try to get one with a mute. If you do not get an in-line volume control you can have problems with things as too low.

  3. I had one because my Xbox 360 came with one. He worked for a while, but when you consider how well I take care of my things, I did not expect it to stop working suddenly. It is cheap and not very comfortable. I preferred the original Xbox headset that went round the back of the head. I also have never had a problem with that one. It took as long as I needed it to. I would suggest this until it breaks, and it will then move on to something else. Maybe the wireless headset. You can not really play online without some kind of headset.

  4. It works well. I have had no problems with sound, though a slight static sound when the volume is turned up. This is normal with most voice communications products for video games.

It should cost $ 5 at most. Just picking it you realize how cheap it was constructed. Also, there is no alternative to the wireless headset (which I have bad things about even though I have not used could be heard in person).

  5. Ok, I thought my old Xbox headsets were cheap because they always broke where the little clip of the speaker appropriate to wrap his head Ding-Ding. But at least the old headset was repeated, glue and I never got sound or microphone. I had two of the new headset, and both have stopped working, can I listen to my team but my team cannot hear me. I’ve decided my old super-Duck-glued and taped, original Xbox headset, and it works perfectly, except the volume control.

However, I plan to take a project this weekend, and I’ll hard-wiring my old Xbox headset will be in the new Communicator headset. If anyone is interested, here are the instructions

and this method works with any headset that worked with the original Xbox.
