This is the making of one of the best computer games of all time. This game was made in 1993 and is the first (and in my opinion the best) in the trilogy. The video has been taken from the CD version. There’s a bit of a sound/video synchronization issue that wasn’t there prior to uploading.

  4. As Jane says @ It makes the game more difficult, “was that a sales pitch at that time for gamers, today gamers want simplicity and win a game without having to sweat, 20 years ago it was all very different! By the way, this game is now on GOG (dot) com for 5. U.S. $ 99!

  5. They should remake it with the original programmer. But they pay more.

  6. I have this thought so often. . . Sighs of my favorite games of all time. The music, characters, everything

  7. They should remake it, also keep all the raw ingredients, only digital artwork and music in higher resolution and improved game mechanics. Many old DOS games would benefit in this way.

  10. I do not think that the media has grown to be full of potential! Since the sale of Grim Fandango and rise of fps. . .

  11. yeah GK3 puzzles are really impossible a few times. . . . . to use, for example, the anagram, the extent (these pieces) and the camouflage. . . . Cat fur stuck with maple syrup? C’mon. . . . .

    Exploited89

  12. I agree. Some of the puzzles were just pathetic. Remember that GK3 was made in 1999. The emotion system was quite revolutionary. This way, its obvious that they now not on par with the stuff scene in movies or games.

  13. Well. . . is not really about the number of puzzles that really is nonsense. . like all the stuff costume as Mosely desguise and get the really super cool bike. . . Jane Jensen himself said in an interview that she regrets about that. . . and what I’ve said about the comments, this is not convincing. . as in Grace meets an old lady, who after sneaking into the wine added to the Montreaux’s library. . . the old woman shouted a few things in French. . . but her face was so wrong. . .

  14. The only thing I agree with you is the graphics. It was the worst part of the game. In relation to the riddle, I agree completely. GK3 had more questions than GK1 and 2 combined. I know for a fact because I have a case study on them. For expressions, I also agree. A partially full expression spectrum for each character. Each time they are surprised, they looked surprised. This is probably the first game to act like a convincing full-motion.

  15. I do not agree. . . GK3 has an interesting story, but it is missing in the puzzle. . I also do the snake a la Rouge. . . The graphics are really bad. . . The faces of the people has no words! a full-motion movie would be great, or even a cartoon 2D game, like GK1. . .

  16. I’m with you on this stuff puzzles. . . It is really annoying. . . I think that is the reason they added that hint button on the map with the places you have unfinished business. . . But it is not so bad. . I love it, and still my favorite PC game of all time. . . I think also because it brings me childhood memories and order! haha

    DJDiegoGarcia

  17. I am disappointed with all these comments. The whole series GK was amazing. None of them have been underwhelming. The only reason why people are so bad people GK3 ignorance 3D graphics and the religious undertones assessed.

  18. GK3 can not improve on redenGK2 was nice, if you wanted an interactive movie, but as an adventure game? sometimes illogical puzzles, and almost no in-game tips: So cookoo Clock in the system (I mention this because I rewmember try to get into the basement for age). . . How the hell could you even think to solve it this way? Main parts of the GK2 were just trial and error is not an adventure game like gk1 what was difficult, but knew all along what to do next in order to end a day.

    zyrustyle

  19. really, you do not like GK2? For me the best of the three. . . GK3 is really bad! But GK2 is beautiful, and the most perfect one, as graphics. . . good acting (especially from actress Grace’s). . . Although I miss the narrator from GK1!

    DJDiegoGarcia

  20. , the first GK. . . the following two games were only gk-awefull

  21. OMG Tim Curry ARRGGH!

  22. I have this video without GK, original version with synchronization, but added to the game magazine, and it seems that they missed the videos, so Im glad I can finally watch it.

  23. fuck off – this is a sweet (Tim Curry ftw), but two had been the best.

  24. As the description said it was producing one of the best computer games of all time. In the Tat.Schade in gaming nowdays no one is so bold as Jane.

  25. OMFG! This was my favorite game when I was young, but I’ve always felt like an idiot that did it save / reload / repetition of a number of sections of Spiels.Ich never really their positive impact on the industry, despite my love for the game. Even its sequels, which were mediocre at best, are made by me verschlungen.Wicked in an “insane” speed post, thanks! :)
