The Nintendo DS is definitely missing in the fighting department, the only other DS fighter, the remote is as good as this it is the predecessor Bleach: The Blade of Fate. This installment in the Bleach series is not too different from The Blade of Fate to be honest, but it has enough additions to make it worth a purchase, especially if you’re a fan of the manga / anime are. This is an expanded cast of playable characters, 44 total. That being said, there are far too many characters joke in this game. Some characters are completely useless, and really, who wants me to play as a Hollow, where one would be one of the elite shinigami? The only real advantage of the extended squad compared to the Blade of Fate is played with a greater variety of characters on. Overall, the game seems faster to me than the previous game, which is definitely a plus. In the case of four players in a free-for-all, you will not see a hint of slowing down, definitely a plus. Story mode is a decent length and will definitely take a while to reach 100% completion on all difficulties. You no longer have on each mission to play again to unlock everything, once you beat the game you can skip missions you have completed. The map is better, you can now 4 cards at once, instead of just select second The Reiju crystals add a bit of balance to the character, you can create a character, how painfully slow Sajin Komamura and make it fast enough to compete with the likes of Ichigo, which makes almost unstoppable Komamura (big plus for me, as my Favourite character is). For those of you who are in WiFi gaming, then you have this version, as each will play Bleach Dark Souls online to buy the Blade of Fate, in contrast. In short, this is more like Blade of Fate Version 1 5, but it is the best game Bleach can definitely get you and the best fighter DS that you can buy after the introductory Jump! Games.

My 14 yr. old finished the game in less than a week. He enjoyed it and said it was a little difficult. Ahh, a teen again!

This is the best fighting game for the DS I have ever played. Its simple, pickup and just jump right in, but also has the tutorials, instructions, and to expand in-game shop your gaming experience.
On the positive side, there you what you want in a fighting game. Wide range of characters to choose from, with a variety of skills (different offensive, defensive, speed and special abilities). Play is smooth and surprisingly responds to a handheld. The touch-screen special moves is implemented very well. If you make the touch screen to a specific attack that same special locks to prevent for about 3 seconds to spamming (button-masher’s syndrome), but if you take the time to the actual direction-pad input for the move (ie get down, forward, attack) can use the special free. The involvement of the mind maps you can customize your game further.
On the downside, is somehow short story mode. Further, to complete the game 100% you need to go back and easily each mission three times (on any difficulty to Easy, Medium, and Hard). Some of the missions are ridiculously hard on.
DS Download Play works you can with 3 other people who play do not own the cartridge, but the load times are slow (1-2 minutes per charge). It has to load before you select characters and choose again after character / to start before the game. At the end of the game, gives you “replay yes / no”. If “Yes hit” Everybody plays at once met with the same characters when you select “No”, it loads again, and you’re back to character select.

The second DS game on the popular anime-based action, “Dark Souls” feels more like a thinly veiled extension of the original game than a true sequel (like “Street Fighter II” or “Tekken 5″). If you played “Blade of Fate”, you will immediately recognize the different game modes, enable the original character roster, the touch screen control, both the special moves and Spirit Cards, and the battlefields. But this installment adds just enough to make the purchase / trade-in worth it. In fact, one might say, “Dark Souls” fixes everything wrong with the original “Blade of Fate was.”
For example, in Story Mode – with emphasis on a plot of “Bleach” Creator Tite Kubo – play dozens of mini games rather than fighting with each character written. While the rewards you earn, are fighters and new tickets will also fight – and play as – the soul-eating Hollows. And although the touch screen you can use more Spirit Cards at once, restrictions on deck construction and Hot Keys are placed in order to prevent abuse. The people at Sega also throw in a special dictionary with character profiles and a glossary of terms from the show. And the sounds of the game – also cast from the show – are so sharp and crisp as ever. So if you have the feeling of déjà vu can overcome, you’ll see that “Dark Souls” is merely icing on the cake.
This game is rated T for Teen: Violence , Mild Language, Suggestive Themes, references to alcohol.

If you are fighting games will enjoy this one needs to be in your library. The 4-player multiplayer is great in this game. They threw in extras by Uruhara shop for fans of the series in the form of audio files and photos from the show. The ability to customize your spirit deck is a nice train. Once I convinced my friends to buy it, we play, ve it non-stop over the past two months.
