This game has quickly become one of my all time favorite strategy RPGs! Besides capturing the true essence of Bleach, it allows for multiple play through without too stale. The story is just that from the world of Bleach. I only wish the existing Bleach characters spoke in Japanese, when they make their Shikai and Bankai moves! AMAZING!

While I found this game fun, as it takes for a while, and definitely a must have for every game Bleach fan, this is the pace of the game that more is lacking. The battle in tempo is very, very slowly, which can be a bit frustrating, and there is no way to change it.

I am a big fan of the show Bleach all about, and I own the previous two games for DS released in the U.S. – The Blade of Fate and Dark Souls. Compared to those third Phantom a bit of a disappointment.
First, your choice in the game very limited – you choose to play as one of two twin soul reaper, of which no one is featured in the exhibition. Second willing to deal with a loooong history background. This game is very intense story. And, you have continually press the A button to advance the dialogue.
But the biggest disappointment for me by far the Battle mode. This is more like an old Game Boy Advance game set, as one of the previous two. Choose to move your character and then decided the battle, or to guard. You can not choose what moves you use or control of your character during the battle. You do not need the stylus or your shoulder buttons at all, so essentially it failed, with the elements that can make the Nintendo DS unique.
If you’re a big fan of the show as I am, then it’s worth it to rent, at least, because you get all your favorite characters to see in a story arc dealing with the past and the present. However, if you are looking for a great fight game, I would save your money and instead buy Blade of Fate or Dark Souls.

The story bogs down the already slow game play. The phase trainng wayyy too long.
If you can Tactics Ogre or similar record you’ve played it once, but without the fun. It is not just annoying and boring, you will fail your mission, if a character dies. could I’m not a fan of fighters, but after this game I give them a try. Definitely for Bleach fans.
