  1. This is an excellent game.

It seems like every holiday just would not complete without a new Dragon Ball game release. As these events seem to occur every year, I expected a couple of DB releases on pretty much any system for the 2008 holiday season. Although every publication on the home console systems tend to be fighters, I was happy to see this country on the DS.

I’m not going to give this game a 5 star evaluation. But I must admit it is pretty close. It has its little kinks, but the positives outweigh the negatives. Above all, this is an action adventure game much in the vein of previous Dragon Ball DS game and the DS game Dragon Ball GT. The difference here is that the game from a top view of ¾ in the same way as the Zelda Phantom Hourglass DS game that has not been published is considered a long time ago. The game is fully 3D and 2D side scroller not. DG Origins has a few RPG elements in this game but it’s mostly an action adventure. The RPG elements are the conversations that go on excessive. But this is now a full action-adventure game, and I am glad it is because I can not stand if it’s Zelda RPG’s. There are also lots of animated sequences. Of course, not his first-class entertainment, as this is the DS talking, after all. The big plus is that you either Goku with the directional pad or the stylus, which I control great because you get the best of both worlds. It is a shame that the Wii can not assume that function in all their games because the Wii Nunchuk is annoying and boring REAL FAST! Exactly

The gameplay like the Dragon Ball series. They go from episode to episode in the same order as the comics / anime series, right of first episode Even the dialogue that happens on the screen, word for word as it appears in the DB-DVDs. I was a little annoyed that it involved no speech. Occasionally one hears Bulma to speak a word, but that was it. Even after you meet Bulma in Stage 1, it follows you around. So it’s nice to two heroes on the screen to see. I still have not so far in the game yet, but from other reviews it says you can Bulma in a couple of steps to control.

Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I’m sure it will be in the price of ten dollars after the fall holiday season, but I had to get this when it was published this week, because I love Dragon Ball. I love DB even more now that the DVD Uncut box sets are released on such affordable prices. With the versions I could finally show that swept across America watching has become an international phenomenon. It’s also nice to see that there are still note-video game releases for a franchise that is over twenty years.

On a side, I wish they really made DB Action / Adventure games on the Wii, PS3 or Xbox 360 All games that are in the country at home fighter consoles. Fighting games quite tedious and boring real quickly, it would be nice, an action adventure game 2 DB hit the home systems to see some time soon. But the big plus side is that your favorite DB character are now in a portable hand for a quick game on your way to work, a long train journey or a vacation trip to another country. Pick up, even if that you’re not a fanatic DB, because below the surface is a really a great game.

  2. This game is very precise and easily one of the best games ever Dragon Ball The combat system is initially difficult, is to master but difficult and you must use the stylus to fight, to touch Goku in different time intervals to run on different combos. After collecting enough skill balls (orbs Purple), you can upgrade Goku’s moves to be stronger, includind the Kamehameha and other movements, you learn as you proceed through the game. Bulma will be with you on most levels and you can not leave or die game over, but it has weapons, they can use. The storyline is very well-(and uncut), the whole story until the end of the tournament, spared no detail. They extend a few things for additional levels, but other than that, incredible. The game is not too short nor too long (but some levels are long!). The cutscenes are amazing, and treated very well in 3D. I must say, it is one of the best games Dragon ball so far in the famous Akira Toryama series! :)

  3. This game is very funny. Similar to the game of Zelda Phantom Hourglass and certainly not a rip off of the game. There is a lot to do in each level, and you can to everyone whenever you want to return to improve your score. Overall, it is a good buy.

  4. You never know what to do with “Dragon Ball” and expect “z drangonball” name games. Usually they are just a pure fighting game with the crazy flash blast effects and the other status quo, but this game is a breath of fresh air in the dragonball world. This game has an amazing story that sticks incredibly close to the show the story. Oh the nostalgia! It has particularly good mood of the show. The game controls are excellent and make good use of the DS control scheme even to Goku’s running. You will not get bored with the same movements over and over again, like the Beat ‘em up game to get, because the game has you learn some really interesting features in the entire world slowly but surely, and you can level up moves through experience.

Overall this game is excellent, if you have a dragon ball z or dragon ball fan This is an obvious is to buy and this game is so good, I recommend it for non dbz fanatics.

  5. Pretty good game to play. The graphics are very good. If you have watched the cartoon, so far his followed the story pretty close. Hours of fun. The bosses could have been so far alittle alittle harder and more interesting but overall I thought the game is pretty good. If you are looking for a variety of challenge then this play may not be what you want, but if you want simple but its pretty nice moderate.
