I bought this adapter for my DS Childs. First off, the auction state it lite and packaging work on a DS and DS Lite, it does not fit as the only adapter in the DS. Secondly, we inserted this fell apart completely in a DC adapter in the car and when we got out of the car and took out the DS adapter. This is a very poorly built products, their are 100 of these on the intet DO NOT BUY THIS ONE!

The adapter works. What I liked about the separate cable, is that there is also a PC’s USB or an AC adapter USB, in addition to the 12V adapter that will connect with him.
