  1. Final Fantasy XII was not a game that was met with universal praise. In terms of fan reaction, it was more mixed. There was a lot of people who did not like it for the lack of depth and character to change, to tell stories. Just the same, but there were some who were quite taken with the world of Ivalice and who loved the political and philosophical intrigue of the original Final Fantasy XII. Even if you do not like Final Fantasy XII, though, Revenant Wings differently so that it almost an entirely new game. This also means that if you loved Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings is no guarantee you are happy.

Vaan and Penelo are now full-fledged sky pirates. In this adventure, they help people Aegyl are in the land of lemurs. In truth, the story is much simpler than Final Fantasy XII. It is driven a bit more character. This adventure is a completely new, though. It takes place after Final Fantasy XII, but even if you do not finish the original game, it’s no big deal. There are a few familiar faces, and a few references to the action of the original, but you’re not missing anything by not playing under its original title.

In terms of how the game looks, Revenant Wings stands tall. The cutscenes are some of the best looking of the DS has ever had by far. Even superior to their own Square-Enix Final Fantasy III. The game itself looks pretty good too. There are many unique artistic design here. Who Final Fantasy Tactics Advance can be played to recognize the art style instantly. It is also looking very colorful and bright. Revenant Wings also has a strong soundtrack. Much of this is remixed from the original game, but it still sounds wonderful.

Eye candy aside, how exactly does the game? Here it will be harder to judge Revenant Wings is. The game is a real-time strategy game that was not really for the RTS crowd. Needless to say, even if you do not like to do RTS games that you get maybe in Revenant Wings. At the same time but the game is a bit simplistic. In particular, if one Final Fantasy XII compared. Everything is controlled via stylus. You can tap units and move them or you can trace a box to more than one need to choose when.

If you are looking for a deeply strategic and challenging game, one is not really find it with Revenant Wings. It has a lot of what you expect from a strategy game. Such as characters, ranging fighe better than, or are better for melee. You will also find that each species has a weakness. What they did not expect that they would, but it is a lot of strategy. It is a strategic element to the game, but you will probably not use too much. In view of the difficulty of the game is simple. While there are some missions that will take you will take a while, it will usually come as a result of game speed not progressing fast enough. Your units move very slowly on the battlefield. You can not speed up things a lot.

In this direction, the game has been simplified a lot. Where, like Final Fantasy XII had a lot of complexity – especially with its offer Gambit system – Revenant Wings is not a whole lot at all. The gambit system is back, but there are not nearly as much tweaking and experimenting to happen to her to be here. You can only assign an action to sign. On the other hand, you probably spend most of your time giving orders manually anyway to get up.

Units and much more concentrated. Things can get quite hectic on the battle field. But it’s no fun when units bundled up and you’re just trying to select one.

It’s hard to judge Revenant Wings. It is by no means a bad game. On the other hand, however, as the comparison of their Final Fantasy Tactics Advance on the original Final Fantasy Tactics. Final Fantasy XII was a great game filled with plenty of complexity in its story and gameplay. Revenant Wings sacrifice everything. Perhaps in this case, simplicity is important, but sometimes their stand have reached a little higher on the hard fact that to escape Revenant Wings, Tactics Advance was like. The story I had a little deeper and the complexity of the fight would have more defined and expanded. Regardless, the game is still pretty fun.

    Pros:

+ A bit more concentration on the characters this time around
+ very simple game and play
+ Beautiful game – especially the cutscenes +

    good soundtrack Cons:

    -Combat is slow-forgettable history

far too easy for a strategy game

  2. In the last few years, Square-Enix Nintendo showed a lot of love. Not that I’m complaining, mind you, because I”m not. I am very grateful. The majority of all my DS & Game Boy Advance games are products of the company and I have loved every last one. Although I had not played FFXII on the PS2, I was curious about this game from watching some trailers of the game created. What I can tell you about it, that I have now, is that Revenant Wings as Heroes of Mana is in many ways. A mission-based real-time strategy RPG, if you will, that brings directly after the events of FFXII on the PS2. This story is in no way connected with that one. It follows new Vaan, Penelo, Balthier, Fran, and an adventure. Of all the titles from Square I for handhelds have this game by far has the most CGI FMV I have ever seen in one. The game is exciting (like FFIII and I have Front Mission) and the game is absolutely great graphically. All in all, there is quite a challenging game. One that deserves to be added in your DS.

  3. Hob FF XII: RV just yesterday and have already clocked more hours in them. After a fan of the Final Fantasy series for many years, I was excited to test this latest game. Although I do not think it’s the best, I must say it is very good. Having used a similar combat system like that of FF XII, it is more based in real time to them most of the previous titles were with the random encounter system.

    The good:
;-good story line mixed with humor
New summon system gives you more characters when you go into battle
The cut-scenes are amazing, especially for a portable system.
    -Good use of the pen.

    The Bad:
characters seem to move slowly sometimes, while you wait for them sprites are so small that it is difficult to obtain, certain characters in a large group to find

In total, there is a good game if your looking for either a simple RTS (Real Time Strategy) or generally good RPG.

  4. Square’s flagship franchise on the DS stands out once again with Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings. As the title suggests, Revenant Wings is a sequel to last year’s PS2 title Final Fantasy XII. Those excellent RPG it will be remembered as the best game in the series had been played since the legendary Final Fantasy VII seen as well with one of the encouraging reports since the aforementioned game. Revenant Wings takes after the original FF XII closed, with Vaan and crew will show the stars of this RTS / RPG. In terms of game design, bears resemblance to the Revenant Wings Heroes of Mana for the DS. In contrast to these titles, but Revenant Wings does not aggrivate you to death, and instead pulls some pretty impressive moments have. It’s a nice amount of depth in the position and skills to be found, although the fight itself is a bit slow and repetitive. The game is wonderful but the presentation of some great 3-D work to an incredible soundtrack Revenant Wings is proving to be one of the better-looking and not yet good sounding games on the DS hit. Although there is no Wi-Fi connectivity to be found here, not Revenant Wings offer some bonus missions, but the real meat and potatoes in the game the main story is had. All in all, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings on the DS an impressive excursion that one of the best stories the series has ever seen will continue. Needless to say, if you enjoyed Final Fantasy XII on the PS2 and a DS, you should definitely pick Revenant Wings.

  5. I have recently, that Final Fantasy games are not easy to prove the same as for the Playstation 1 and were to be felt before that. This game, however, mixes the FF formula just enough to me to prove otherwise. The unique combat system seems simple enough, but adds, from a strategic enough depth to make it it interesting. The missions are usually warm from each other, but the game turns out to be fun. With the exception of a few difficult missions (some just frustrating) the majority of the game is pretty simple. The story is quite interesting and makes me wish that I, the background of FFXII (but ha, it is not necessary to understand what’s going on).
