  1. If you have any research on Puzzle Quest, you know, it is a fantasy role-playing game, where fighting in “Match 3″ Bejeweled-style puzzle game made. This is a good summary, but do not do it, the game justice – the fusion of two different games is completely and totally, what a role playing game, whose gameplay, although known to happen in a completely different way than we expect have.

    The focus of the game, you create a character from one of the four classes. Travel on a stylus-guided map, travel to different areas, get quests, fight monsters and sorted. The battle on a grid of icons is done you line up – the skull (which you get to line up for a physical attack), coins (to bonus gold), stars (bonus experience), and mana gems (received one of four types of mana) and wildcards. Special skills you can go beyond simple line-up icons of damage done, the puzzle board, the contents, change impact on your opponent, and much more. You can find out cascading combos that are just as satisfying as any fighting game.

    Alone, this would be a pretty fun game. However, the game is both a complete puzzle game and a subtly detailed RPG. You level up your character and gain new skills and add to existing skills influence – the gameplay can radically. Facilities also affects gameplay and varies considerably – does not damage a whip, if you collect yellow (air), mana, armor helps reduce the damage, a ring, as long as you keep your blue (water) Mana on a certain level to . cure You find yourself mixing and matching capabilities (you can only have six are ready at a time), equipment and much more, new and better strategies.

    However, the increase: The game then one step further with the addition of even more – you can capture enemies and mounts as they can (and train them) and learn their special skills, craft items with runes discover and build citadels and bring other cities under the control of your Queen. Throw’m on a lot of optional quests, monsters, random, and more and you have to play a satisfying RPG experience with many opportunities.

    Finally, the icing on the cake, as the action is processed. It is a sad standard plot, but it is with some interesting characters (like a dwarf or a Motor Mouth scheming princess, whose father she knows only too well) and some small details in the game, the meat from the world says. < , br />
    If there are any errors that the presentation of their graphics are a bit mixed, by an overhead map OK to view the status Barebones screens to some very nice character artwork (each class has four possible character portraits, 2 of both sexes). It is good enough, but I felt the status screens and maps would have made a little better.

    The only limitation I will add – this is not just a casual game. Each fight is very intense and may take several minutes to play, and you have definitely think certainly as AI. It is not something I can really recommend casual players, as some investment of time and brain power lasts.

    Whole? A fantastic experience worthy of the hype, and a step forward in gaming.

  2. This game is so much fun! I sort of felt blah about the idea of another Bejeweled style game, and while the battle takes on a Bejeweled interface and general idea, it has so much more to it! Any type of connection, what one means something different for your character (connect 3 Skulls and it does damage to your opponent’s life, Connect 3 big money and get gold connect, stars for experience or balls for different types of mana!).

    the core of Bejeweled, but it plays like an RPG. They have a sign that the level has magic, equipment, and get quests. It’s incredibly fun and addictive than you can imagine.

    I would also like to mention that the art interface and music are fantastic. This game is top notch in my book, just fun!

  3. I’m not a gamer. I am indeed a mother who is often known that off with my children nagging their game devices. I fell hard for this game, though. I now own my DS (pink so my son will not steal) and have repeatedly won Puzzle Quest. I bought it last spring and played it every day until I finished only yesterday, Lord Bane fights in the last quest. I love thinking strategy without time pressure – as the bejewel game is interesting enough, but the shift has increased opponents and magic kept me coming back to see how the game changed. Too much fun.

  4. play at this point in the DS life cycle, there are not many good RPG titles available. PQ fills some of the void with a solid RPG titles that use the partner is an interesting puzzle gameplay elements. The RPG elements of the game are surprisingly deep and fans of the genre for a while to keep him interested with addictive leveling up attributes. Even if this game a good job his “available time more diverse.” If you are only a few minutes to beat a mystery and put a micro step forward in the single-player campaign, you can do that, and you have saved your progress. If you want to stay glued to for hours (like I did yesterday on a long journey by plane), it will keep your long-term interest rates. The game is definitely fun, but has some disadvantages like the others mentioned below. Here are the pros and cons: Pros

    * Deep RPG elements

    * addictive gameplay * Long, deep and interesting History / Campaign
    * Excellent decent graphics for its intended purpose
    * Use the touch screen

    Cons * No variety in the score. Do you play literally silent after an hour of gameplay.
    * The requirement of several maps for multiplayer games is greedy. I have three DSS for my children and me to play on other games. I am not going to buy three licenses for this game.
    Play * No WiFi – which is dissapointing as it would be a fun experience, was to play with people on line.

  5. With all the different puzzle games for the DS, there do not so much more that a stick can be more than another. Puzzle Quest manages its own thanks to being an incredibly addictive mash of puzzle and RPG elements that stand it apart from the rest of the pack. Starting as a typical RPG, run by combating the participation in the puzzles that are reminiscent of Bejeweled. Take the moving parts around and the game itself requires a certain strategy, it as well. The fact that these are puzzle and RPG elements are combined with each other and that they actually work, as well as reason enough to bring Puzzle Quest alone. The game overall presentation is fresh and the main quest is incredibly long and also offers some incredibly addictive puzzle gameplay that you keep at Puzzle Quest for quite some time. The only drawbacks are Puzzle Quest, the puzzle box that is narrow on the bottom screen of the DS, and it is easy to miss something in the heat of the game. Not to mention that many of the opponents can be very frustrating during the game, but the good definitely outweighs the bad here because of particulars to be addictive gameplay. All in all Puzzle Quest like a strange mix of two genres, the sound carried well entires have seen on handhelds, but make no mistake that this is one of the most fun experiences you will have either way on the DS now.
