I bought this game out on a whim and I must say I am not disappointed with my choice. The game is surprisingly fun and very charming.
The graphics are on the high standards for the DS. The charcter are colorful and whimsical as you would expect from a fantasy story. The combat system in the first person is done, and you can switch from party members as you want if it is a bit more complicated as a member of your party takes a certain amount of battle slots and you have 4 slots total slaughter. This means that Dorothy and Scarecrow: 1; Lion: 2 and Tinman: 3 You may be able to say, Dorothy attack twice, and even Lion attack.
As for the story. There are a few complaints that this game is nothing like Wizard of Oz and that it is because of this shit. I say this: Yes, it’s not like in the original story makes no sense. You surely do not get a copy of the book or film. It is based on the Wizard of Oz is based. I use the term “loosely based”. The start is close to the story of how the following Dorothy Yellow Brick Road in the direction of the Castle of Oz play, meet with Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion along the way (you have to fight and win against them before they join your party) . Once you get used to the castle is where the story differs quite a bit kind. There are four witches to defeat you, to help the Wiz and in return he is to meet your needs and therefore you are in OZ sent to the four witches (The mother and her three daughters defeat South: Does North, East and West. all follows a certain theme to the season but I was nice.)
Overall, it is to play a fun game if you are looking for something simple and easy. I recommend it for younger players.

The Wizard of Oz is a beautiful, serene and fresh RPG for the DS – and it is a game that I think can enjoy both RPG newbies and veterans. The game begins much like the original book / movie. Dorothy and Toto were sucked into a tornado and dumped in a new country. Take the Yellow Brick Road, picking up the straw man, the cowardly lion, tin man and on the way, as they travel in the direction of Oz. Once it to Oz, the premise is different from the original story of how Dorothy and asked the band to stay in the country and collect all the eggs in various witches magical kingdoms, so that Oz may be the ruler of the kingdom. And so begins a series of quests and the actual story of this game begins to unfold. . .
The gameplay is generally quite simple in Oz. You use a trackball to control system on the touch screen Dorothy as she makes her way down the various paths. You can control their speed and direction, if you want a particular opponent to avoid at any given time, and the ability to influence their fast speed is important for making the necessary backtracking and painless. When Dorothy and the gang travel to these paths, they encounter many enemies that you need to go into battle and to level up your team. You use the touchscreen to interact with objects, select battle commands, and even Toto teach some new tricks. The entire game is controlled by touch screen, which makes for a smooth and seamless experience. It feels very natural once you get used to it.
The combat system is simple but works well. Certain characters have certain similarities, so that they better fight certain types of enemies. For example, Dorothy is best against ghosts, straw man is best aquatic organisms against enemies, the lion best against shell-based enemies, and the Tin Man is the best plant-based enemies. The game also has a money system, so that is the stronger character, the less time they can be used in combat per round. It makes perfect sense and makes battles even more interesting – and this is good because you are many, many short fights and some longer boss fights in this game.
The most complex part of the the game is navigation instruments, because there are many paths to take (and you want an overview of the paths that you have made and what to keep there). The game offers signposts that you mark with your own system of symbols can provide you with icons, are that (which makes sense for you), so that you can understand, to judge such things, but I wound up making a few cards / notes on my own as well. They are often on gates or barriers that can only be disabled through the use of various switches, and most of these switches can be triggered only with the relevant elementary (little spirits of fire, earth, water and wind that you get to on the way). Sometimes you have to do something to open gates backtracking after you have received the appropriate elementary. But again, because you can move quickly, as long as you keep track of where you go, backtracking is relatively painless – and often very funny, actually.
Finally, as I mentioned in the first paragraph , this game is beautiful. The environments are vibrant and lush, and all characters and enemies are colorful as well. This is probably the most graphically beautiful DS game I’ve ever played. The soundtrack is very fitting as well, and it is not annoying, which is important as you will hear about it a lot. I fell slightly in 20-25 hours, before playing the game, and this is a keeper, as I come back to him and expect to put together a few loose ends.
Overall, this is a fun RPG that is accessible to beginners but also interesting enough for experienced gamers.

Very nice game for DS, and pretty funny too. I am very happy to have this game there is a large emphasis on the graphics and animation and share
The combat system is decent. . . Although not big, you can only your enemies in combat.
But the story is pretty carefree and fun as a whole. : D
Fun game.

I love it when developers XSeed as they take risks and pearls as Retro Game Challenge and Little King’s Story produce. This game is no exception. A turn-based role playing game (RPG), start as soon as Dorothy and the Tin Man from, scarecrow and lion combined. They explore different levels and different topics bizarre enemies, collect armor and weapons for the different characters.
This game is good for beginners and RPG veterans alike. It starts a little slower, but does pretty fast. The cards can be difficult to navigate and a bit boring the first time through. How to win the enemy plane and simple steps you can grind in old pick up extra money and then buy better items.
Overall, this is an overlooked gem that is worth playthrough.

Bought for my 6 years for their first Christmas together with DS. It is by far her favorite game to play. Easy enough for them to cope quickly and play holds their interest for the long term. It was moved to our house for a week, and she did not want to play their other games! She turns 7 this month and is planning an Oz birthday party!
