As Wii games to go, this is a pretty lame. Once you figure out how to vote – not an easy task – the game is a little more interesting. FYI. . . You can not throw as you would with a real fishing rod. If you win a tournament, you get the fishing the same lake, which is getting old. The “rules” for this game really explain anything. I found the drifting boat was the most fun.

The trick to this game is to enjoy the mastery of the vote. It is not intuitive, and feels awkward at first. The instructions are not helped much. I would also recommend changing the controller configuration to “Configuration B” in the options screen in the main menu. We had the same disappointment as the other reviewers, but we managed to figure out the votes at the end.
At the start of your vote you drag B (and hold it), and ” Pop “on the pole. When the white bar reaches the end of the bow, you “POP” the rod forward. If the white beam returns to the top of the arch, you enter the B button.
As I said, once you get the votes of the slope, it’s a pretty fun game. I really enjoyed reeling in a striped bass 39 pounds. My brother bought this game for my father, and now he will not wait until spring to have a small fishing village fun.

Here are some tips to make maps of the lakes and milestones on the way down, Wright has what you caught. So if you have a tournament, you know where to go for fish, what do you for fisheries. There are ways to make money with that $ $ go & buy a Top Rod & Reel, your casting problems have gone by. Just because you bought the right Rod & Reel does not mean your with them, pull the bar you click it when you get out there on the lake you do click on the same line speed of the reel and now your fish with them. 90% of the time I use plastic, unless the cat fish not abandon me, then I’m going to swim bait. Fish career if you want to fill your trophy room. Do not forget to pull your need to get to work was legendary fish. last tip that I use numchuck Controller & GO Have fun!

This is a great fishing game, realistic and exciting fish behavior when the bass-addicted fighters are great. It takes a while to master the votes, but if it is too easy, would not it was funny. The complainer is not writing the negative reviews should buy the games require skill and patience. Several lakes, great scenery, boat races, casting contests, fun. I’m very frustrated with this game. The instruction book is useless. No instructions what so ever with the rod, except how to hook it came with the nun chuck. Could not move the boat when the nun chuck in the bar. I gave the rod, got the boat to move around the lake, it will not tolerate votes for the life of me. Lastly, the cast, perhaps a good cast of ten bad throws and never caught a fish. Played for hours, lousy casting and no fish. Not user friendly at all. Do not waste your money.
