Fifa almost everything right, but the error that it (no difference between short and long passes) is enough to make this game nearly perfect, just mediocre.
Addition of addition of stellar comprehensive and manager mode is the primary difference between this game and the previous version on the Wii console, the introduction of point-and playback controls. Such controls revolutionize video game football. For example, you no longer need to constantly by the selection of the wrong (computer assigned to be frustrated) man on defense only to any defenders on the screen, and you are that person. No longer do you need to become angry, that your passport was inexplicably in the wrong place, point to a place on the screen, and the cross at this point, whipping in the perfect. (Crossing the ball into the field much more realistic and user friendly compared to the soft, crosses floating, useless control of the 08 version.) By this point and play Fifa 09 on the Wii the Wii potential uses in all new ways .
But it is unfathomable that FIFA does not test the game on any potential consumers. My little nephew would know immediately that there is no way to differentiate a floor pass to pass from one air. There is only one button on the ball with the pass, the A button, and this is the same key for every kind of pass you want it on the head to knock the front for him to run to the ball? Too bad, you will pass it to the ground. Want to slot a ball between two defenders from reaching your midfielders? Too bad, you pop it up in the air. Thank Fifa: thanks to your short-sightedness, I have about using the Gamecube controller (use back the Gamecube controller, and the controls are perfect.) Stripping of the Wii of all its Wii-ness.
< br /> To think, had just had my nephew Fifa toddler play the game you could have the company assigned A-key as a basic right-and B-button as the “Air Pass”, the result would be one of the best football games have been all time. A shame, yes.

FIFA 09 on Wii is almost two games in one. Part of it is the usual FIFA soccer with all the teams and Options FIFA franchise has developed over the years. The other part of the special party-Mini is designed to be played with personalized Miis you have created. Party-mini-fun to a certain extent. It all depends on how many people are there to have the party. If you are alone, you can quckly bored with it. But do not forget that the other part of the game with all the big teams still exists and you can return to this game. Plus there is the online game, the extra competition (party adds Mini is no online option, too bad).

I think everyone needs to write some straight talk. I hate my online experience so far because I have not been able to 60% of the games I’ve played close. I get a connection in the middle of the game. Maybe it’s my WiFi connection that does this, but all my computers (3 of them) have no problems connecting to my wireless network. So maybe it’s my Wii console.
The other thing is that I struggle with the Wii Remote in this game. They give you two options: Extended Play and All Play. The All-Play, the CPU determines the moves for you and everything you need to do dribbling, passing, shooting, (the player run with the ball only to defend). In Advanced play, you decide how the whole thing goes. Due to my inexperience with the Wii Remote, I find both options to cope with very serious. I decided, therefore, the Classic Controller, just because I played FIFA on the Xbox before buy without problems. The classic controller works great, but it works only in the advanced mode.
Note that if you play online with the classic controller, all games will be in advanced mode. Many on-line use of the Wii Remote, so that they play in the All-Play mode. My guess is that the two modes are not compatible, so I keep losing connection with my opponents (even though I tried to play with my Wii remote and have a couple of times lost connection).

I play FIFA games for many years from the year ‘98 on a variety of consoles. I can say that without doubt this is the worst expereince I ever had by far. The team at EA Sports should be ashamed for presenting this as a legit Wii game. Where to start. . .
Margins! In the game, and the comment! I have had free kicks go from the center circle, and sometimes my screen is black to run out suddenly, and there will be a goal kick for no apparent reason. And now the most annoying thing ever – after a long shot, many times the announcer will say that the player is injured and should be off! What!? Come on EA, how much you try to play this game, huh? Half an hour after midnight for a drink or two? Or did you know have 5 yr. Olds play for free?
The controls are designed to give the user two options – All-Play or Advanced play. Advanced playback is very annoying to have as a feature to show you literally and click, point and click at a point and click where you want the ball to go. Admittedly, this offer a little more control, it feels nothing like a flowing game of football in general. All-Play seems to be a little easier and more “rookie” kind of player. However, the computer plays as if it has moved further and can Curling incredible shots and running precise that you do not.
By the way, the difficulty settings are a joke – much too hard ! Let me give you an example – I played a match on “Semi-Pro,” the play about a “medium” setting, after I patiently for hours on the lower settings, the things are set. I played as LIVERPOOL (one of the top teams dominant English) vs. Cobh Ramblers (a crap team from the Irish League). I used typical tactics and tried my best to achieve goals, while an all-around solid game play with sound defense. I was 4-2 with all four goals for the Ramblers as sensational, unrealistic long-range strike, obviously impossible or curling, twisting masterpieces that even the best players in real life rarely score, nevermind some no-name players for a poor man Star-struck team. This result as your little brother’s Little League team against the Yankees – it would just never happen – even in a video game.
The worst aspect of the all-play-style, if you to defend. They can be a challenge for the ball, which usually can not be a foul, but let the ball wide open for other opposing players simply to walk, control, and moves back past the player – or you can slide tackle and be sure a yellow or red – and still have the same result. This defense problem is shameful and just highlights another error in the field of play testing. Many times I have held an oncoming attacker only to have one of his teammates just to be on the ball and score on foot.
Set pieces very difficult, as are crosses and corners . The instructions are a minimum of information in these areas. Your only choice is to play a “Soccer Academy” option, which helped me nothing. Very frustrating.
Stay away from this, I wish I could get my money back, but I lost the receipt. Not funny and full of poor play and design. It’s not even like football when you play feel. Buy something else. I can not believe I wasted fifty U.S. dollars on this piece of garbage. . . .

Fifa 09 is a highly addictive game of football. They really did there homework on this case. Here are some pros and cons of my experience.
Pros:
-All the real players from clubs from all over the world, with precise skills and special tricks. < , br /> Advanced games, you can use the Wii Remote to select where you want to send a pass to a player. It makes the game ever changing, and you can develop more and better strategies over.
Different levels of difficulty that computer teams during honestly make the game more difficult to hold (eg equal speed with better passes and Tricks of AI). The first time by the Premier League with Manchester United I did not win the whole thing because I tied the last game of the season!

My friend takes care not because I like it so much. . . HA!

I am totally dissatisfied with this game. I was a big fan of FIFA 08 and was very excited to play to 09. However, the biggest breakdown (at least for the Wii), that the game to play online invariably separates during the connection. This happens every time there is a goal kick, and happens often play at other points. It’s ridiculous.
The defensive players also seem to move slower and a step in the wrong direction before moving in the right place, even if this is just a learning process for me perhaps. < br />
The separation during online games destroyed the game for me because I mainly like to play online against others.
The points and pass is a cool idea, but they should manage the game. I do not recommend this game at all.
