This game is a bit hard to write – you have to look at it from two angles:
1) If you are looking for a classic RPG Final Fantasy game, then you will be disappointed. This is not a typical Final Fantasy. Do not buy this game, if that’s what you want. I would be 1-2 stars for a Final Fantasy game. . . It should be noted, like all FF games they push the graphics and the limits of the console and pay attention to the story.
2) If you are an Action / Adventure Search Game in the same spirit as Zelda: Twilight Princess is then this is your game. FF: The Crystal Bearers feels like a cousin of Twilight Princess, and draws on much of the same strategy / game / experience. I would be a solid 4 stars for a fantasy adventure game is based.
If you will probably be pleased in this one with no expectations then you have.

I originally pre-ordered this game, just as many negative reviews in flooded observed, as it came out. This worried me, but in the end I kept the job, played the game, and I’m happy because it is.
The fight takes a little getting used to, but eventually ends up as quite different and then to play very funny to start with. You use telekinesis to throw the fight to the side to pick up, or throw enemies and objects. You can throw enemies into each other, throw objects at enemies to damage etc. experimentation on track and destroy enemy is fascinating, and the different objects have different effects (eg manure raise an animal, or throw a bomb into a goblin for an explosive effect). In a time of games that plague the mainly visually different approach copies of each other, leading them something new. A fun little quirk is that your telekinesis works in cities, so you can try playing around with the unsuspecting citizens as well. I liked the realism, since Layl is not the fundamental moral character, it makes sense that he does not restrict the use of his powers when he a city occurs (in contrast to many other games that prevent you from such actions within the community / city-atmosphere).
I agree with some of the other criticisms that the controls difficult at first (especially the increase of the enemies are always recorded over you hang), but these difficulties usually disappear and the controls are intuitive after playing for an hour or so. I suspect that those who still have difficulties after this time not even a glance in the manual, I do not normally, but the controls in this game are so different that I thought it necessary to do so. < br />
Most of the graphics are simply breathtaking (take a look at the stylized form Layl jacket flapping in the wind during the first sequence of the game, this proves beyond doubt). Many of the villages and cities are well thought out in terms of visual design, look and even the mild, normal sequences in fluid and refined.
The action is usually quite fascinating, and it definitely has some puzzling aspects that you want to keep pushing forward to make. I never played the previous Crystal Chronicles games, and I was not lost.
A disappointing aspect was that many of the people in cities have to say literally anything. You can go up to them to see their views, they also come in and throw them into the air, but that was it. Only a few people in each area actually thought that air bubbles produce means that you talk with them. I would have liked to see more opportunities in this aspect, but if you do not care about the useless chatter of the townsfolk (do think all the extra characters in Zelda games, the talk generally about non relevant things), then could You actually like that this game gets right to the point in relation to the dialogue.
The biggest problem was the card system:
* The card with a short range (when enemies are present) is fine and looks / functions like the “radar map” fps in many. It works well for the search for remaining enemies within the field. The map is on the other side to follow very vague and difficult, it is hardly useful at all in finding the way to the next place that you must go.
* One part of the inspired Travel System is the fact that you have to rip your telekinesis the arrows from the character and carry it around with them to use. This is useful because no matter where you go or which way you turn, the arrow is still in its original destination.
Overall, I would recommend this game. questionable, due to some shortcomings, it is not a five star game, to be sure, but it is a four-star game.

First of all, I have not received my order, but I have to copy this game with a friend, and to this point, I think I can give my personal views and impressions about the game.
< br /> This game is very difficult to examine with objectivity, mainly because a huge disappointment for some, a good and entertaining game for others, and a hit game, at least for me and a lot of people I know. It only depends on your expectations (mine were none) and your adaptation to change.
Having played almost every FF game on USA, and Japan, with the notable exception of Dirge of Cerberus and Crisis Core, I’m OK with Square-Enix shift of genres and approaches, and I feel comfortable with the old school RPGs I feel like with playing action games.
; This game is based on the RPG section. Well, the first thing you have to accept: This game is not an RPG, I never expected, but an RPG, Square-Enix never advertised it as a pure spirit-in-role, as an adventure game that was OK for me, and that is what I wanted. Genres changed so much since the 8-bit generation, so the only thing I expect from a game is fun and joy, and believe me, for this generation of video games, these are very high expectations. />
this game can be classified as an RPG-flavored adventure like Zelda. Which is not to have to lower it or raise your standards to accept in relation to other FF games you just have different in almost every way.
The story is like a really deep pond. A thousand years have passed since the original Crystal Chronicles, Lilties went to war with Yukes, Yukes went extinct. Magic gone from the world, and now it’s all based on crystal technology. Crystal-makers are people with crystal energy, the magic-infused control can make their will, we Amidatelion to be a hateful Yuke just, and a set of characters with a secret agenda. There is nothing more I can about the story without spoiling it to say. Why is it such a deep pond? Well, the story of large, deep and event is loaded, but it is a bit limited, as there is nothing before or after it, at least with the released games.
History progresses easily and linear, so it is easy to understand and easier to play. It is a seamless and easy as it should be an adventure game.
On the technical aspects of the game on the graphics part seems the world is smaller (but standard for nude adv games), but it seems huge and alive. The sound is well done and well.
Soundtrack is weird and unconventional, ranging from rock, country and world music. I did not like it much, but I must admit, it mixes well with the surroundings and situations. It’s only a matter of taste.
Controls are hard, but simply arranged, I feel OK. Camera movement is so hard when the auto-camera and are used simple stick-spinning previous FF titles. It takes time to master it.
Navigation: Seamless and without massive load times. The only problem in this respect (and important theme of the game for many people) is the map. No mini-map, and no precise location shows. Only a large map showing where you are. The world feels big, so it is easy to get lost.
Battle system is simple and monotonous, grab enemies / objects with gravitational forces Layl’s, and throw move / how to want. Easy and fun to do, but can sometimes be a bit boring, and frustrating when fighting some bosses. Anyway, it’s not a big problem because the game focuses on exploration is more than fighting.
You can Layl’s stats with custom objects improved and changed his jacket image you like in Zelda to do with the new tunics, heart, and all containers. Like I said, it is an action adventure RPG’s flavored, not much much less.
The world feels relaxed and laid back, there is no urgency in the world, or any to save something. This is only because of the context. Mini-games are fun and action-based sequences are better!.
Now, this is a rough diamond game, but a piece of jewelry after all. If you are open minded and willing to accept, that Final Fantasy franchise is just a name and you want action-adventure games, I totally recommend this game. If you just can not tolerate or do not like action-adventure games, well to rent it, it can be disappointing, but you will at least feel it for you.
Food for enjoy playing just to evaluate, so hard.
——————— ————————- ————————- ————————- ——————< br /> < , br /> UPDATE 12/01/10
I have my copy and finished the game, and I must say, I’m pretty impressed and disappointed at the same time.
Crystal Chronicles games always work for me because they have a deep emphasizes history, with a simple character of history and the most important background information. You do not need any twists or complex characterization, how much more of our beloved books of classic literature is lineal and simple, and they are still masterpieces.
For Japanese players, this game is it is a really mixed bag. It is not the game of the year, but certainly among the best and far from the worst. For me it is a fantastic game.
I must admit that gameplay can be frustrating and difficult at some points for inexperienced players. But I really do not understand why people are so much about game mechanics, if it’s easier to complain than to target any Halo game.
The game took me about 25 hours not too short, not too long, and certainly good for an adventure game. The game has simple parts, difficult and frustrating parts of parts, should be like an adventure game.
Contrary to popular belief, this game is not for everyone, but really worth has been completed and analyzed. Behind the pseudo-simple-minded character development is a story waiting to unfold.
For every complaint I have about this game, Square-Enix surprised me with something incredible. There is no point in this game, the comparison with FF VII and other Final Fantasy, it’s just different. After completion of my Japanese imported FF XIII and feel disappointed far, I needed some refreshment, this game gave me that.
Now, after the end of the game I can talk about the issues: < , br />
STORY: Deep but limited, this game expands the FFCC universe. Character development is simple, and the story progresses in a linear way. If you are curious about FFCC, this game are more questions than answers, but story is strong and well developed. 9th 5 / 10
gameplay / CONTROLS: Difficult to get used to not very intuitive, but it is self-explanatory, as the game progresses. Certainly not the best, but with practice it is a piece of cake. 8th 5 / 10
FEATURES: First of all, the screenshot feature super, especially with the vastness of the game, and the details of everywhere. The map is a real problem because it is vague, but you can solve with the guidance and your ability. The radar works well. Layl skills are not customizable, but you can improve it. This game is not full of groundbreaking features, but almost all of them work well. 7 / 10
Graphics / Design: This game is one of the best art direction I’ve seen in a lot of time. Everything is nice and carefully. The look is not mysterious, it is friendly and warm, but solid and interesting. On the graphical aspect, this game is proof that the Wii a lot in the technical aspect has to offer, stunning graphics and fluid are at the same time. Even the simple cutscenes feel polished. Charging questions? No!. 10/10
MUSIC: I give this aspect a 6th 5 only because I do not like the music very much. His goal is the musical director is strange and varied, but, like the excellent art direction and works very well with the environment. I’m kinda tired of the common orchestral approach of this kind of games. I wanted to hear something different, this was different enough to my ears again left in the video game music, but I did not like the selection. I’m sure many other people will enjoy it. 6th 5 / 10
This is an 8th 3 ~ 8th 5, but really, this game can always be 4 to 10 Certainly not for everyone to enjoy, it’s a rough diamond, a diamond, but still.

Yes, that’s right. This game will keep the rule that the Wii, there are no long, plot-twist driven RPG’s for the Wii. Find By 21hrs gameplay, 4 of those hours walking around trying to order, because there is no map, we finished the game going “wait, where’s the plot twist?” It was a good story, great graphics, I liked the gameplay, the areas, but 4 years of development should be more than 16hrs gameplay yield. Not worth $ 50 at all.

This is a strange game. I went into it thinking it would be more of an action-RPG, and it is definitely not. It is more in the vein Zelda, but to retaliate with a massive offensive. The game itself is visually very beautiful and the world is quite large. There are about 330 to collect medals, some of which automatically how you progress and some that are hard to get accomplished. It is a pretty addictive experience, wander, searching for treasure chests and collect medals, but the battle is frustrating. You have no weapons, and you only get 3 “armor” slots (earring, ring, etc). Their “weapon” is your Crystal bearer shares power, the ability to move objects in the world. To kill enemies, you must collect various objects and throw them. The problem is, it is a very complicated matter because you have always tried to follow the Wiimote cursor and manage the incredibly shaky camera simultaneously (Futz always prepared with the camera ..), plus you have to kill only a limited time the opponents in a given area (about five minutes) before the miasma stream is closed and the area again in a peaceful environment for a further five minutes. Many enemies can be killed quickly with only certain objects, you can never have enough time to before the time runs out figure, and if you do not kill all the enemies in the prescribed time plus you close the current miasma deserve absolutely nothing. I spent most of my time on the run from enemies because they are not worth the trouble with just so I could advance the story. This does end up hurting you in the long run because you do not earn enough, myrrh fragment (such as the heart in a Zelda game) and you will be killed easily in Chapter 5. That is, the story is interesting and rather political, and it is not ruined by the subpar voice acting. The music is quite good, but some of it seems out of place. There are some countryish melodies and hard rock kind of stuff that does not feel right. There are a lot of Wiimote shaking and mini-game quests, so if you’re not a fan of both, well steer clear of this game. Overall, this is a big step for the Crystal Chronicles series, which is so far made childish and cheap. Crystal Bearers not get it quite right, but it is an addictive and nice game, that a fair amount of replay value.
