I bought my original drums as part of the band kit, but this is the same product. The drum kit requires a Wiimote, so you still need a Wiimote for each guitar and drums. The drum kit has three drum pads and two elevated Cymbal. While they appear on the note highway from left to right: left drum, cymbals left, center drum, cymbals right, right drum. The “up-down mechanic makes learning the guitar hero drums a little more complicated than the Rock Band Drums (as well as the fifth pad). With practice, this is not an issue.
The drum pads are designed to absorb noise, but you have to turn up the volume a few notches versus only play with a guitar or microphone . The foot pedal is designed to not move during the game, but I have found that still a problem when playing on the oriental carpet in my living room.
The drum pads and responsive speed sensitive, so it feels like you’re really on the drums (well, at least more than the Rock Band version). All in all, the drums are a great addition to the Guitar Hero ensemble.

I have bought from Amazon sellers two separate Guitar Hero drum kits (Wii) in the last six months. On the first use, blew the red drum after about 2 weeks. On the second, the green drum blew within two months. I do not think they hit very hard, so it is not a result of the abuse, plus, I’m just on the plains, so that you can not hit too much. For the price I paid for each of the drum sets, I am outraged, as are made cheap.

I have both and use the Guitar Hero Rock Band drum set blows away the set. Do not get me wrong, both fun, but Guitar Hero is excellent!

I’ve heard, research and reviews before I purchased this product. Many people said it was not compared to rock band precisely. I can honestly say that this is a fallacy. Guitar Hero drum kit is very accurate, easy to use and fun.
So feel free to make in order to buy this product. Music selection on Guitar Hero is better than rock band.

Purhcased for my grandchildren. Delivered promptly. My grandson was on cloud nine and loves Guitar Hero World Tour – Stand Alone Drums. He was especially happy it was wireless.
