  1. It produces more than 11 years since the critically acclaimed cult classic NiGHTS into Dreams from Sega’s Sonic Team debuted on the Saturn. And now, after countless rumors and endless prayers, and a series of long delays, the official follow-up is finally here, this time on Nintendo’s Wii console. Even with its glaring faults, it may create still revive memories of the original again, and perhaps spark interest in those who have never played before nights. Dream Two children, Will and Helen, were from nightmares, which got in the way of their ambitions. Soon run nights, a flying fool determined to rid the world of dream Wizeman and his henchmen, who want to turn all dreams into nightmares.

CONTROL Players the possibility of some game modes to choose either the Wii Remote, Nunchuk-style, classic style, or with the GameCube controller (which I recommend first, preferably the WaveBird). Your mission is to be the fly NiGHTS through a series of rings and Blue to collect chips to the capture chamber, the progress you break to the bosses. They also learn special attacks and moves that help you in your quests. However, whatever the system feel decide control of the responsiveness of the controls are glitchy sometimes. Controlling nights can sometimes cumbersome and lacks the fluid found in other Wii titles. Will or Helen in controlling the platform level can be a bit quirky. However, no one should have any trouble adapting to a control schemes for a continuous amount of playing time.

GRAPHICS At the first boot the game, you are very well made full-motion Video-opening cutscenes treated. The CG quality is definitely one of the best yet seen on the Wii. The graphics are also in terms of level design impressive. The designers at Sega are definitely about talent when it comes to the realization of dream worlds. Each level is very creative. But the smooth frame rate on a frequent basis, especially during the real-time cinema. There are also some great emotion and gentleness that makes all too apparent. While the entire presentation is incredibly colorful and gorgeous, it’s all tainted by annoying little blemishes. One wonders why Sega’s talented engineers could make such imaginative worlds, but not yet about how to create the technological obstacles. Nevertheless, the overall visual production to value something.

SOUND Probably the best aspect of the game. The songs are fun to hear. They are catchy and stay in your head most of the time, and they emphasize the almost perfect game. Fans of the original game will be happy to know that a few well known tunes and jingles have a Return Journey of Dreams made. A lot of the same trademark sound effects are also coming back. A new element added, the game is the use of Voice Acting. Yes, finally a voice of nights. It is blasphemy to them that the Nights character was as ambiguous as possible, and others can not with the voice, elected, agree, should have stayed believe. But overall the sound is still far the most impressive part of the game and proves that Sega means business when it comes to sound quality goes.

CONCLUSION The A-Life function returns the look with the player after Nightopians / Night Maren in her personal garden, and a two-player game where you battle or race against a friend. Despite these additions, many inconsistencies Journey of Dreams prevented by a solid title. to interrupt a lot of components in the game the action, such as dialogue, cutscenes, bizarre goals, and also jump-missions, which could turn off gamers who wanted to enjoy the sheer sensation of flying. It is also relatively short in length. In the end, this is really a three-and-a-half Star Game (I looked round to four stars thought to be generous). Although not perfect, it does not mean it’s not funny. There are more good than bad. It is not the masterpiece I had hoped, but it’s still mostly a fun game nonetheless. My best recommendation is simply the game in each can (whether buying, leasing, etc.) if you are interested in her. Please do not get discouraged from my criticism to try it. You may end up like it more than I do, so just go give him a chance!

  2. Is it really more than a decade since the publication of the original Sega’s Nights? Hard to believe, but yes is it and what still difficult to believe that Sega took all that time before he smashed with a follow-up to their cult. In any case, Nights: Journey of Dreams is here for the Wii, and the game has a very funny follow-up to the original masterpiece and despite its shortcomings, is to play an explosion. When you played the original Nights, you’ll feel right at home here with the flight-based gameplay, wonderful soundtrack, and brilliant level design and realized that populate the universe Nights. The game’s artistic style is by far the greatest strength, what an undeniable charms Nights, which is hard to top. Where Nights is disappointed with some of the Wii-mote controls that come off as too cumbersome, but that may due to the fact the game supports the Classic and Gamecube controller to be fixed. Where the game falls, with some of the foot platform game elements that are simply not very much fun. Not to mention that is too short just like the original game, Nights: Journey of Dreams. It will not take long to get through the game, and if you do this, as before, what you begging for more. Despite its shortcomings, however, Nights: Journey of Dreams’s is one of the better third-party Wii title to see the light of day this holiday season. The charm of the representation makes it worthwhile for children, and the addictive gameplay makes it worth playing for older players with good memories of the original. For longtime fans of the original Nights, you will be pleased, many references and homages to the original game to be peppered Nights: Journey of Dreams to see, but the game does not do enough for this to new players in either all off Everything Nights: Journey of Dreams are not as memorable or as a masterpiece, as the previous close, but it is a very funny Follow-up independent, and worthwhile for players of all kinds

  3. I am a 13-year-old girl who was a Sonic fan for six years. I loved Sonic every single day. Now that’s changing. When I started playing Nights: Journey of Dreams, I had to admit that Nights is better than Sonic. Please be considerate, this is the first review I have ever written on Amazon.

I never played the first few nights (I was only one or two when it came out, anyway), I wanted to find out who’s Nights. I just wanted to try it out. Nights: Journey of Dreams was a Christmas gift from my aunt. I was so happy that I only wanted to try it! This is the best game I’ve ever played!

Fly First Nights is fun and easy (just because I have the GameCube controller). I have not tried, but the Wii Remote. Defiantly use the GameCube controller, first, because the Wii Remote can be tricky (after Owl) due to the “Mindsight. After several missions at every level is one way the game Sonic and the Secret Rings, but these missions are far easier and more fun.

Okay, now for the speech. Nights is a very funny jesterlike vote. It works well for a buffoon like Nights. I find myself giggling every time he speaks. Why do I get one Nights “he” instead of “they ask,” Do you? To tell you the truth, do not sound like a female Nights somehow, but it does not mean he is female. When I started playing, I thought that Nights is a young girl, too. But I’ve made a mistake. Once I was playing as Will (one of the sleeping children). In the cutscene in front of the bird-hunting level in Lost Park, Reala (a Night Maren, which looks like Nights) takes up Will. Nights tries to save him, and Reala orders to stay nights. Nights obeyed, muttering a sound of frustration. Then Reala says: “This is a good boy” is. That really convinced me that I made a mistake. And for those of you who still think that Nights is female, do not worry, you’ll eventually Get the picture (I know I did). Oh, and Helen (the other child is sleeping) by Victoria Ashby, the daughter of one of my piano teacher voiced friends. Great job, Victoria! She had a sweet girly voice (my mother agrees). My piano teacher was even in my game and had Victoria sign her name in the cover. Now, my piano teacher is planning a time when I can actually meet Victoria in person to arrange. How sweet! And the rest of the cast, well, they all have a great job, but you do not have to agree with me.

The soundtrack is beautiful! The music for all the credits at the end is pretty catchy. My mother has even tried to sing it. SPOILER ALERT!: When Straight A’s in each mission (including the additional Bellbridge mission, which has after each mission, a C or better) appears to the soundtrack for the first night game, get unlocked is in sound library Will’s and the Dream Gate has a snowy appearance. , I have already released the soundtrack. Both games have not played a great job on the music (I have the first few nights later). END SPOILER ALERT!

SPOILER ALERT!: In the extra Bellbridge mission is to end differently, but it is also sad. After Wizeman, King of the Night Maren, is destroyed, dies Nights! Then I saw Will and Helen and wake up crying! I was really sad. When I wrote this review earlier, I would play this four instead of five stars have. But in the end, I felt better because I have a story where nights survived and wrote back with Will and Helen. If you like to write stories and do you feel about the end, write a story like mine on Nights sad. You’ll feel much better! END SPOILER ALERT!

Unfortunately, this is a long review. I promise I will stop writing, but if you want to know everything that you read the other reviewers. Anyway, this is a great game. Buy it! They are certainly surprised (to be in the positive sense)

  4. NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams which is completely wonderful game. I can not believe that there are people, it is stupid and not worth saying pick up! Someone even by looking at it’s Strategy Guide (he himself was the guide on a star) assessed and says that it should not even be picked up! Journey of Dreams is a spectacular game with a wonderful soundtrack, great story and spectacular gameplay! Whatever the game has not just coming from the fact that this is to distract a wonderful game and great SEQUAL the original Saturn game. Actually, I’m hoping for a third Nights game in this follow each other.

  5. Since I never played the first few nights on Sega Saturn, I was curious to see what the hype was all about. Right now I’m about five hours in NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, and I enjoy it very much.

    – The controls take a few minutes to get used to, but after that everything is order. I can tell you that it was not as smooth as it should be but, but still the game is more than playable.

    – The graphics are beautiful and full of color over a majority of the game , although there are some ugly moments (that are few and far between from what I’ve seen).

    – the music. . . the music in this game is amazing. Everything is harmonious, full and perfect fit every dream world. My favorite would be the music on the results of the screen while it is a good couple of jazzy tunes that surprised me.

    – The best part of the game (besides the music should be), the Boss fights (which there are a lot). I will not spoil anything, but they are quite creative.

    – Total Voice acting is decent, although one of the children seems like he’s talking like an American part of the time and the British other (?).< br />
    – another multiplayer aspect of the game is done well. You can either race or battle your opponent, both locally (split-screen) and online (via Nintendo WFC). Since the controls are so easy to get (once said) that can play everyone and have a chance against an experienced player.

If you have an open mind and are capable of a overlooked some things, then you have a great time with NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams.

    My Rating: 8 / 10

Follow Up (01/20/2008): Well, I have just the game (complete with all four ends), and I must say that my favorite Wii game is so far. It’s just full of style – a level of official real. If I could, I would rate my review to 5 stars. I can not for a third Continuation (and a re-release the original would be great to wait.)
