I have a Wii, which works fine with the composite (3 plug) adapter. If I bought a HD TV (Insignia brand), I bought this cable, expects the six-part plug connection to be better. I have tried all Wii modes – wide, normal, standard definition 480i and 480p HD. In all modes, the Wii would display OK most of the time, but then go black for a few seconds, and then come back. It would do so again and again, every minute or so. I gave up, went back to the composite cable, and it shows in 480i widescreen fine. (In fact, the picture a bit clearer with the composite cables.) So this cable is not worth it, at least for me.
