I have this particular component cable Wii because it looks like the cable separately to my TV and amplifier, to reach about 2 feet away. It is a small piece of plastic that keeps the cable to widely separated, but you can cut them out carefully.

This component cables cost much less than the official Nintendo ones, or also known third-party vendors, and produce a much nicer picture than you get from the RCA cable. I managed to hook it for <$ 6 after tax and shipping, small change for the better image quality. Tested this on my older two new plasma TV and my brother and both were significantly better – you lose blurry edges and colors look vivid. You are left with aliasing (“aliasing”), but I would take this over the Ugly blur I had before. A very satisfactory purchase, even if not to compare the results in HD quality. You can not really images or YouTube videos (I saw before I tell you bought).

It is amazing, made the difference this cable on my HDTV.
I did not feel the need for this before. Wii Sports Resort and Wii Super Mario looked ok. . . . I had not expected, bought an eye-popping image of the Wii.
Then I Lego Harry Potter and I could barley the game because of the bad image. Mainly due to the darkness of it. Some parts were so dark I could not see what I did.
I decided I needed a couple of component cables, after looking at comparisons on the internet (search: Wii vs 480i 480P).
I have this cable, because I did not want to pay much. . . and I know from experience that a more expensive cable does not necessarily mean a better cable. I was a little concerned about the quality of the product. . . to less than $ 3, there was a small gamble.
When I tell them I had the cable could receive good quality. . . and when I connected it, I could immediately see the difference and so could my wife (something to say). I was able to see all sorts of things in Lego Harry Potter, that I could not see because of the dark picture of the 480i. It amazes me the difference from 480i upgrade set to 480p.

This cable works as a component adapter for the Wii in order. It looks the same as in the picture. The construction feels solid, much better than I expected at this price.

I was amazed at the pricing and quality. On a 32-inch TV it looks amazing. Make sure only to go to settings and switch it to HD-TV.
