  1. First I should say that if you liked the first rock band and you like Track Pack Volume One (Wii), you will probably enjoy this also. The game is exactly the same.

For some reason with this particular installment of Rock Band, the game does not fit the television screen of our TV console-style (not HDTV). It is too big. . .

    Why does it matter?
It is much harder to say, if you miss the notes. The very bottom row of buttons (the red light when you miss the note) are hidden in the depths of your TV screen. It tends to fit the screen a bit better if you play solo. We have tried to calibrate our system to see if that would help with the screen problem, but it did not help. . .

This leads me to my second complaint, the calibration is a pain in the butt. It is much different than RB and the first track pack (where you just selcet the type of TV you have, and you’re done). This track pack is much more “deluxe” in the calibration. You choose to beat the drums or guitar, or strum during your calibration, but it is unclear whether it will turn to do the exact same time as you hear the beat, or, if you want to do it right. Then, after being calibrated, there is no way back to defalt settings go through the Rock Band menu. You have to go all the way from the game and go into your Wii menu and delete everything stored under this title. (Meaning you lose all your tapes, scores, unlocked songs, etc)

My third complaint is that the songs are not as clean. It seems there are more songs, and swear, have questionable subject than in the first and the first RB Track Pack.

Conclusion: I’m glad we have 20 new songs to play, but I’m the type of game fits into the screen and the calibration disapointed. I am not so happy with the songs do not.

Songs in this track pack: Avenged Sevenfold: Afterlife, Blondie: Call me, Weezer: El Scorcho, Devo: Girl U Want, Maximo Park: Girls Who Play Guitars, Disturbed: Indestructible, Angels and Airwaves: It Hurts, The Cars: Just What I Needed The Police: Message in a Bottle, Pixies: Monkey Gone to Heaven, Duran Duran: Rio, Motley Crue: Saints of Los Angeles, Lynyrd Skynrd: Simple people, Red Hot Chili Peppers: Snow (Hey Oh), Nine Inch Nails: The Perfect Drug, Fall Out Boy: This Is not a Scene, Papa Roach: Time is running out , Garbage: Why Do You Love Me, Judas Priest: You’ve Got Another Thing Comin ‘, Smashing Pumpkins: Zero

  2. This is the second track pack with 20 new songs, but the songs are rougher in their content and more for the adult audience as for the language. You get some really good songs, but mixed in is a few not so good songs for the younger ones. I know it is for teenagers and up, but some of the words in some of these songs arent fit for adults. I guess when you play all the songs from them as soon as you dont need to unlock the ones that you do not like to play. For the most part it is a good CD, if you just skip over these few songs. This is only my opinion and as you know, everyone has one so I like the songs that you can enjoy.

  3. A great complement to the songs, but it is difficult to synch to the TV. The options do not cover enough. But the songs are good, but also some that I did not hear. The nice thing is that you do not have to earn it.

  4. This game is too hard. It is not what I expected. It is not FUN: (

  5. I have a Rock Band guitar and now Rock Band 2 guitar. The Rock Band 2 guitar a little tighter and the fret buttons feel appears smoother. I have noticed no difference in the Strum Bar. Overall, the Rock Band 2 guitar feels solid. An improvement over the first guitar, but nothing earth shattering. It does not matter, because the Rock Band game is awesome!
