  1. This is a cool piece of plastic!

However, buyers should be aware that make many of the Rickenbacker and Gretsch guitars “twangy” sound in motion by the metal balls inside the body for the overdrive tilt sensor used. According to an EA Rep @ not all guitars have this question, but most do. It has no effect on gameplay.

When I received my shipment I had not become aware of this and so think it was broken I ordered a replacement from Amazon (which came three days later – thanks Amazon!) Of course, the replacement had the “twangy” noise so back it went.

My guitar is an previous GH3. I know there are a lot of improvement with the GHWT guitar, but have been with the GH3 strum bar clicks too many. The Rickenbacker’s Strum Bar is quiet and smooth.

I in the minority of the preference of the RB seem to be loose on the GH frets. are the frets on the Rickenbacker realistic, not raised like the GH guitar. For me, the Rickenbacker a more realistic gaming experience. Playing the guitar GH3 feels cheap.

The Rickenbacker is four inches longer than the GH3 it looks and feels like a real guitar. Do differently than the GH controller, the Rickenbacker (and all the RB guitar) do not need wiimote. The guitar is plugged with a dongle that turned into the USB port on the back of the Wii guitar, which is even recognize the guitar. This explains the slightly higher price of the RB vs. GH guitars guitars. Without inserting a Wiimote into the body, the Rickenbacker guitar and a lighter is easier to hold. A Wiimote is still necessary to start the game, but once it runs all the menus can be accessed on the RB guitar.

Manually set to the calibration “0″ for audio and video. Synchronize automatically generated less than positive results.

A five-way switch on the Rickenbacker is allegedly useful for creating special effects in the solo mode, but not used in TBRB.

Unfortunately, the RB guitar does not whereas GH GH guitar with RB software software work, so we take into consideration.

Overall I like the Rickenbacker a lot – a nylon strap included as one would have been a nice gesture. If the $ $ buy the Rickenbacker. Or save your dough for the DLC.

  2. I now have all three guitar controller for the Beatles rock band. Everyone is so much better presented than the normal guitars with Rock Band / Guitar Hero associated.
I especially like the extra buttons to play on the neck that real guitar solo to get feeling great for While My Guitar Gently Weeps !!!!!

  3. I love the Beatles. I grew up loved the Beatles and their music heard all my life. But I was surprised, even as big a fan as I am, that it is important for me was to have the premium instruments. I mean, they are Wii controller. I hardly something I could break loose for the new motion sensors.

But that was a great buy. It is a beautifully made Wii controller, with some books and good effect on the frets, Strummer and bar business.

The wireless works great, no falling out. I could not be happier.

  4. Well, what can I say – the Rick is a nice addition to the Beatles Rock Band game. It plays about the same as the controller that came with the game, but has a nice feel too little and the chrome trim is a nice touch. You could probably get away with just buying another Fender clone, but for a couple of bucks more, why you do not feel the authentic Beatles?

  5. The Beatles: Rock Band Wireless Guitar Controller

I bought this controller on 3 October and began using it around November first I thought it was great, but now I am glad that I waited so long to check it.

    Mayor has problems:

    1) Auto-calibration is bad and I mean very bad for the sound to have to put the controller in front of the speaker and make sure there is absolutely no sounds in space (volume must be high). For video is even worse, turn off the lights, close all the curtains in the room and use the brightest in the TV configuration, the system as close as posible to the TV, and even with all that the video auto-calibration will fail 50% of the time. But you can still manual calibration I was not so crazy about him until today when I the second problem, this controller a notification.

    2) The “Authentic Whammy Bar with Chrome Tip “is rust after only two months of use. -. – Seeing is believing
    course: [
    . . . ]

And if you’re wondering: No, it’s not my fault, I almost never use, bar.

My advice: Buy Cheapest Guitar Controller, there is no point [in payment. . . ] For something that is not auto-calibration can be half the time and it comes to rust after 2 months.
