  1. I recently bought the Hannah Montana: The Movie Game for Nintendo Wii. My daughter is in a dance class, where she dances to the song ‘Hoedown Throwdown “and she loves to sing well. I was hoping some of this was a singing game, but after I bought it I discovered it was not. However, it is a pretty fun game to play.

The description on the back of the game, the player says “perform” Hannah Montana songs from the movie. Hoedown Throwdown is one of those songs, but here you do not have to sing with the music. There is a tutorial you can do what I’m VERY, because otherwise you do not know how they do so, recommend what to ask during the “performances.” Using a nunchuck required. I think this is a one-at-a-time playing game, but I have not tried to do several players, so could I not be correct include.

Ideas a mixture of doing hand movements (Lasso, drum, high-five, etc.), hitting poses (one arm up, one down, etc.), shakes the “microphone” together with the clock (and by “microphone” I mean Nunchuck to play), turn the Wii controller, “” the piano and picking manipulation of the Nunchuck and Wii controllers strings of a guitar.

There is also a storyline that goes along with the game. You have to move Hannah / Miley at different parts of the backstage, her tour bus, and their country “hometown.” Hannah / Miley is more tasks to do to the game like talking to different people find different items, etc., given in advance at one point in the game you try to help her ride a horse and jump over obstacles. There are things like fun to “shop” for new clothes and objects, you accumulate points and also there is a fair, where you can play, pop-a-Frog, where you land on fake frogs to make lillypads to try.

As with other Wii games, part of the game are “locked” until you have earned it by increased playing time. So, my 4-year-old daughter is going to have to wait patiently until I play for who knows how long the power Hoedown Throwdown she wants so badly to see preserved. The shows require a lot of hand-eye coordination, which are a little advanced for her at this age. My niece is 9 and I think that would be the perfect game for them.

So it was what I expect? No, not really. But it’s still fun, yes. There are a lot of variety between the different games, shopping, organization and navigation through the action. I’m not a video game savvy, so my husband was making fun of my lack of understanding of how / where I direct Hannah / Miley to go, but after 10-15 minutes, I did experiment with it fairly easily.

  2. My niece enjoyed playing this game. The checks still a little getting used to, but playing the game provided hours. Clean family fun for the kids and lots of songs for kids to dance.
I recommend that all parents and Hannah Montana fans.

  3. My 8 and 6 year olds love this game. At first I thought it might be too hard, but they will be able to read the text and the game all by itself.

  5. My little sister has this game for her B-Day, and seems to like it, but it is a little advanced. You see, when a concert comes on, it will be harder, it’s rating (as E). I would only recommend this game to ages 8 +.
