Let me say that I love this game! MY husband love this game! MY FAMILY & FRIENDS love this game!
When I saw this game at TRU, I knew I had to have it. I am not a video game person, but I was a teenager when mixing and scratching came out and it was like a trip into the past. Days of high school dance and breakdance.
So ask yourself: “If you love it so much, why only three stars?”
When I saw the price of the Renegade Edition I went on a quest to read reviews to see whether it is worth the price difference was. I found only one that was helpful and that person actually said that it was not worth the extra money. But I thought if I had spent the extra money in case I am happy. I did not want the extra CD just in case that doubles as a stand. BOY I was wrong! Let me just say one phrase “Made in China”
Within a few days, the door that closes in the Wiimote broke off. The bottom of the case, where do you screw in the legs in the state. Well, that broke on two of the legs. Then roller ball (which is how the numchuck) interrupted the game, one of the two turntables I bought rendered useless. I’m now back to this and I’m sure I’ll run into the same problems with the other. The game was only by me or my husband so does not address the problems happen because of neglect.
With this said I do not recommend the additional expenditure for the money available. It will break. It is not done well. The hub is fine, but if you’re looking to spend the extra money will be based (as I was only on the trap and are), you may regret it.
Now the good things about the game itself!
Pros:
+ The music is great. Great mix of old, new, pop, rock, blues, R & B +
The game is easy to follow (even my 6 years old, it could play on medium) I of course play it on easy.
The tutorial + is ideal for non-gamers
+ Love the mode for someone to play simultaneously on the guitar, or any other DJ Hero allows. I actually bought another one so I could battle with another person, but how do you top that did not work for me.
+ I think the graphics are nice
+ The Renegade Version turntable (plate) is very nice. Glossy black and gold crossfade button just make the hub looks nice

Got it for my husband. He loves it and it is absolutely fantastic and I am getting a wonderful wife. I find it much better than the regular DJ Hero, but I do not know if it is worth a $ 100 price difference (I have it on a Deal’s lightning, it was much less). I do not think it is worth more than a $ 50 price difference from the regular version, personally.
* Update * I reduced it to 4 stars after playing on it for a while because the legs are not as solid as I originally thought (they did not break or anything, just loose) and the door for the Wiimote got mixed up. Only grown (fasting) adults have played in this case, it certainly was not roughed up. I also think to be the upgrade from the regular DJ Hero as $ 30-40 compared to the originally worth $ 50 that I said. All in all, still a very fun game, but the quality of the parts could have been much better. I would not have minded paying the extra $ 100 if I ever was a product of that $ 100 was better.

Greatest Ever Christmas Gift. At least that’s what my brother says, all his friends, after I gave him this Christmas Eve. The music is awesome and it was definitely worth the extra money to get to the “apostate issue.” The hard case that is in a table is large and very stable. I like that is height adjustable to. The turntables are not hard to use and it will be easier the more you use it. The CD that came with it properly. It would have been better if with a CD of music from the game but came. All in all, it loves my brother and I can not wait to hook up my guitar from “Guitar Hero” so we can jam together.

This game is an explosion, the children can not stay away from it or should I say, young people can not put it down, they love it.

I love this game. First, some of the mixes are so creative. Second, the fact that it contains Guitar functionality so that you can use your Guitar Hero skills you can, uh, and the guitar is great.
The ONLY knock I have is that, unlike Guitar Hero you can not create your own DJ and track his progress on multiple levels and sets. And some of the mixes are weak, but I mean, come on with so many blends such as this game has what you would expect.
Last word, if one to find a good offer, use the Renegade Edition. The stand and travel case are enough to make this a worthwhile investment.
