First of all I have to admit not only a huge Beatles fan. I was 15, when the Beatles for the first time on the Ed Sullivan Show and it was love at first sight. These “boys from Liverpool”, with their long hair and a fab British accents were the grooviest musicians we had ever seen. Within a year, a large part of my allowance on magazines and Beatles records and my bedroom wall was covered from floor to ceiling with Beatles pictures was issued. My friends and I developed a strong accent Liverpool. (Would we dorks or what?)
So when a friend of mine, close called me last week asking if I come over and try out the new Beatles Rock Band was a limited edition Wii game of the day it wanted out of life, I was right on it. We all have the Labour Day. You tore two other friends and I are all big Beatles fans from way back, met in her living room when she brought in the box with the game, open it and under a lot of jumping up and down and oohing and aahing, have everything set up. The Beatles are the logo and a replica of Paul McCartney’s Hofner bass drums, just beautiful! There is a microphone and was also included. I wondered why they do not have a wireless microphone, but I guess they wanted to make it more authentic, at the time.
Now I’m not a big Rock Band or Guitar Hero Fan I bought my Wii games for exercise so I have only played Rock Band a few times in the home of friends, but have never really get into it or wait to buy it. But this last edition of my opinion – big time. This edition is more about the Beatles than it is about the game itself, at least to other Rock Band games I’ve played compared. I think the graphics look better on this one, almost like it was custom made in the group. For Wii characters, they have excellent work on all four of them. Now you can not dress in strange clothes they want, you can with some other games, but changed her appearance, as you play through the story to reflect the times. The sentences from the Cavern in Liverpool, where they started their careers at the top of the Apple building are all very nicely done. One can say that a lot of thought and work went into creating this game. For all the die-hard Beatles fan, it’s a beautiful thing!
The show in the arcade mode or story mode to play, and either online or offline. There are 45 songs to this game that does not seem like much, but it should be available to download in the future. Partway through the story mode, they turn off his tour in different locations in the studio. They have all these short video graphic scenes, some of which types of psychedelic to interesting things while you’re in the studio. Before most of the songs you hear audio from the Beatles, that takes you right as if you were actually there at the time they were making these recordings. I thought this was a great bit of personalization. Play the various instruments is pretty much the same as the other rock band I play tried. You hear the girl screaming in the background when they are on tour. (What a concert the Beatles would be without the screamers?).
The thing different about this game is the singing, either solo or are done in harmony. Now this progress is not as simple as just sing along, even though you can connect up to three microphones and can either harmonize (harder) or sing all the lead in the game. Select either “solo” or harmonize “. With solo, you see only one row or harmonize with, you will see three lines, one to follow for each singer. Fortunately, the game includes vocal coach, you fall into various parts of the songs. None of us were very good on the harmonization of the first in the hours we played. It is much harder than you might think. (Or perhaps we are all tone deaf!)
In the training mode there is one more thing, the kind of cool and I think differently than other games. . There are training for what they describe as “Beatle Beats”. With this you can learn all of Ringo’s drum rhythms. There are about 80 of them. At the end of each section you have to be able to do it on expert level, which is really difficult. This is something that the games will last a lot longer to make replay value for most people. I think you probably have a professional drummer to get through all this perfectly.
Another thing that makes this game more difficult is the chapter challenges. For each section, when you play in story mode, you have all the chapters of songs in one go and get 5 stars on any of the songs in order to collect photos suggest. You can do it easy or difficult. For beginners like me can get through even on the Easy mode without any errors in this life. Later you can move to higher levels of difficulty. My friend’s grandson, who has played in his youth and a few other Rock Band and Guitar Hero games thought this game was pretty easy now. I want to believe that this is simply a gifted child, rather than the rest of us are slow.
I really did not intend to buy this game if I could in her game of a friend. But now, after having seen and played, it is on my Amazon wish list. . It brings back all the memories of the Beatles and stand in line to see “Hard Day’s Night” at 14 time to hear Beatles or the hours of LP’s on my old turntable. I have no idea where I am Paul McCartney’s Hofner bass guitar controller and store Ringo’s drums. But just because the drums with “The Beatles” written across the front is enough to transport myself back to 1964. Hopefully my husband will not be transported me off somewhere else when he sees the small refrigerator-sized box! And perhaps after all the head shaking and eye rolling I’ll be able to recruit him to the role of John Ringo, or if I get my band to play together. Yeah, yeah, yeah!

This is a contribution to the bundle, which includes the game, a microphone, a wireless guitar, and a set of drums.
The bundle is quite expensive. You pay $ $ $ more for this bundle, because the instruments are granted, has a very cool, well made, look like the Beatles, which is used, etc. If you’re a Beatles fan, of all things collect Beatles, this would be like good for you. The fit / finish of the instruments are first class.
You can not use these instruments to the Guitar Hero games. If you do mind that, then do not read on. But for my money, I feel this bundle is a rip off, because you can not use the tools for other games. Purchase Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band Beatles game only, there will be less than this bundle and you have costs for two games instead of just one (so to play Beatles and current rock songs). Unfortunately, it does not work the other way around. Can not buy and then to get this bundle Guitar Hero games to play.
If you must have the Beatles instruments is that what you want. If you do not worry, and frankly you should not because you need to purchase additional guitars and microphones to maximize the number of players, it would be cheaper to Guitar Hero World Tour and the Beatles Rock Band Game itself, and twice as much fun to play.

Like many who live on a budget, I waited to read and listen to what I could about this bundle. We bought Guitar Hero for the kids and let’s face it, the graphics are not really with the parents or the children so much, there are a few good songs from a connected series of random clunkers. The kids tried it a few times, and as they actually play real instruments, they found it less challenging than trying to “make real” music. So I waited because I thought, how else could this version of the original Guitar Hero or the countless singing / Karoake games that we bought on the way – and I mean that quite a few: American Idol I and II, High School Musical I and III, Disney, Sing-It, etc.
I began trickling in. Then the ratings took a copy of Entertainment Weekly, which did an amazing write-up. The same applies to the New York Times. Game started reviewers say that this is the only game that could actually surpass the Wii Fit be in terms of accessibility, design, and especially the content. Finally, I gave up and soon there thinking, well, at least this should be a bestseller for Christmas and I do not know how there are countless hiking toy stores and video stores looking for it. If you are a parent like me, you remember, which lasted for a pain it was to be found on the Wii or Wii Fit.
It less than an hour to the game The instructions correctly set up in a dozen languages are written clearly and not really indicate how well they cooperate. So, here are a few helpful tips. First, the legs are actually drums inverted. So you have to actually pull one leg out of the other and then put the smaller tube within the larger, so that the plastic ring serves as a stop inside the larger tube. Then the legs are really fit together. The rest of the set-up is a pretty simple until you get to the MIC.
There are two devices with the sentence, allegedly at the ports within the Wii console plug (ie the white box machine itself came). First, one might think that you require at least three devices, ports, and connections were correct. Go ahead and put the two white plugs into the base unit. Remove all existing connections to do. Here’s the tip: one of the two lines has actually two additional ports built into it. So if you go an extra guitar (we bought both use the John Lennon and George Harrison instruments), you can accommodate them or additional Mikes. The extra guitar sets with these white connector units are derived.
Okay, so you turn on the device. And if you’re like me, you’re thinking, “to impress this better, otherwise I will feel really bummed. And, you must enter a user name. I tried my first name. Already taken. I have tried to “Paul” I think you’ll be getting just a first name until I every Beatles. Resumed. Thus prepared not to fail at this preliminary stage.
When the game boots on, on hold to your hat. The opening sequence is amazing. The graphics, the well-known scenes from their historical roots, their trip to the U.S., it’s all there. Then the game really begins and the magic begins. I tried to sing familiar songs as “solo set” on Easy. The graphics were amazing. The clips they chose against the famous “Karaoke” bar, that at the end of the scene singing flashes are so precise, so thoughtful, so impressive, I found my thoughts wander.
I started think about these four music icons as real people. What must have been a fantastic, surreal journey it must for these four young lads from Liverpool. What must it have felt like such a trip have experienced – and that it actually happened in our lives makes it even better. This is such a great game. What makes it so terrible that my children learn to sing along to this music, visual on-site experience as it unfolds on the screen with historical accuracy. Above all, the music — the music, the music, the music. It is so special. Nothing like it because maybe nothing ever again.
I’m addicted. This is the one I’ve been waiting for to share and explain the music to my children. To play me. To just break and enjoy the fact that interactive entertainment has reached this new plateau. I play music with the Beatles in my living room. You are here. And it is up to you, let your imagination play now on the screen. Fantastic game. Run to find it. I hope you get the limited edition copy. The bass from Paul McCartney that is played when one image included. This thing is just so cool. If you’ve seen the picture, it’s even better if you hold it in your hands.
What an amazing package. It is expensive. It is worth it. Really.

I own a Wii, but I’ve never RockBand or Guitar Hero and I was playing no Beatles fan. They ask: What planet am I from? Well, you’ll be glad to know, everything has changed as of last night. I am now addicted, so is my 4 y / o daughter who has somehow learned, has to throw the head bop and her long hair around like a rock star when she strapped on the bass guitar. She heard Yellow Submarine last night for the first time in her life and was already singing along as if there were no tomorrow. My husband, who usually tone deaf and has no musical sense whatsoever (sorry honey!) Is also secretly go through the training for the bass and drums. He thought I was asleep, but oh yeah, I heard him right. I can not wait until I get home to the Beatles today!

This game is worth the hype. The accuracy and the little details impressed even the most casual fans of the band. Each stage of the game, The Cavern Club, The Ed Sullivan Show, the Budokan and the roof of Apple Corps, includes is extremely accurate to the smallest detail. Since the end of 1966 Beatles, Harmonix compensates for this with a unique approach to touring. For songs (I Am the Walrus, revolution, etc) that the Beatles released after they stopped touring, the band begins in the studio two at Abbey Road and then the game develops into a magical dream-landscape with flowing colors and images.
The Beatles themselves are finely detailed to the smallest nuance. One thing that impressed me especially as a mother was a Beatle, the accuracy of the on-screen guitar. The computer generated Beatles actually play the same chords and in the same position that the actual song requests. The producers of the game could have used only generic hand gestures and strumming patterns, but this extra little touch was much appreciated. All of their actual movements are lifelike, and sometimes it feels like you’re watching the actual band as opposed to computer generated characters.
The song selection of 45 songs (the album Abbey Road , Rubber Soul and Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band will appear for download after the release) is very varied and diverse. He covers her early career and goes through to their final song. One criticism I have is that there is only one song by Help!, But other than that is very well rounded in the catalog.
Another criticism I have of the bundle is the overabundance of plastic, stickers, and the lack of a good education for the construction of the drums guide. After I unpacked the full bundle, it looked like a disaster area with a lot of excess plastic, cardboard, plastic wrapping, securing and sticker in the box. I’m sure they had a reason for it, but it creates kind of headache. The manual is decent in general, but the construction of the drums was difficult. Note to readers: the drums themselves were not complicated to construct, but if you went through the instructions, you would wonder what to do next. Some steps are being skipped completely. So be prepared.
All in all, this is a fantastic game. If you are a Beatles fan, casual or insane, you’ll love it. But this is not the best for people who have never listened to The Beatles. If you already not a fan, this will not do, like the Beatles, but you may want to make it even less because of the high degree of detail. But I will say that beginners and experts alike should find much joy in this game. One of the drawbacks for me at the previous games of this type was the level of the time it took to be “good”. I’ve played real guitar for 13 years, but I sucked bad at Guitar Hero. This would be the songs (I recommend starting medium for the rookie player except on drums) are demanding, but the pace is such that it is easy for a novice to mix in the series and a member of the Fab Four. You can play and sing bass, drums, guitar or. The many options make this game that you will come back.
At the end of the game (or bundle) is worth and it surpasses all the hype. Any fan of The Beatles would be out of their mind is not on this own. The Fab Four are back.
