Playing Dungeon Siege Dungeon Siege 2 is like first There is absolutely no difference in the way of playing, some improved graphics, a new skill tree to kill many things, an “on site” Save “function, and a mysterious bug where items that you had in your pack seem to disappear when you respawn after getting slaughtered.

    Bug:

    Gameplay:

  2. Dungeon Siege II is finally out! This is a computer RPG gaming at its finest. The graphics are great, the gameplay is addictive, and there is even a story!

    First you create your character. You can become a human, an elf, a dryad (wood / nature spirit) or a half giant (large, brawny type). Each race of course has its strengths and weaknesses.   3. Five years or so ago DS1 shuffled party-based, 3D hack and slash through a beautiful landscape, and the result was good mindless fun. There were a few gripes – not enough, as in adaptation to a character level, no interaction by the NPC, for example – but they did not spoil the fun as a whole. Now I pay $ 2,005 a year received 50. . . Now, the same game like 5 years ago.

    Not quite the same course. Those gripes have taken up to a certain extent. Your NPC companions do occasionally chip in some mindless chatter, and everyone has a side-quest. The skill tree adds a nice level of customization. The problem is that many of the improvements are clearly half-hearted.   4. I was a big fan of Dungeon Siege, and could not wait for DS2. After the game for more hours than I’m probably recognize, I am with a severe case of disappointment left.

    My biggest complaint is that someone actually thought it would be a cool idea to have, play the same game exactly three times before you call “done.” start as a newcomer, plays at a simple level. Once the match is over, (the big story, anyway not necessarily the side quests), then the only thing we need to do to play again, starting the middle of a difficulty. Once you are finished, start again from the professional level.

    This may be an interesting way of sound to the game challenging, but by the time you get to the expert-level , you are so many weapons and special abilities to have available, that there is absolutely no challenge. Especially if you have a party full size, (6 characters). I think I died about 6 times in the Easy mode, and once in the middle (against the Archmage, so 90% of the way through the story). I am one third of the way through the expert level, and I can not ENVISON death at this point, my team is too strong. A few characters with dual-wielding swords and cut through the enemy forces like a hot knife through butter.

    It is true that one variable by changing the side quests, which in your party, ( some quests are making only reserved for certain characters – so if they are not in your party, you will not receive the quest) but I can not fathom sitting through all the major areas (and they are huge and beautifully rendered), only to to obtain a new Quest.

    I also do not like to control the situation to my party and education gap. In DS, you could with the right mouse button and scroll to define how closely a number of others followed. This was a very useful function, like the magician could take a back seat as they would have flimsy arms, and put your tank at the front.
