Evil Genius is a highly addictive strategy game (a kind of Sims game). It has great humor, great graphics, great sound and lots of great gameplay. Unfortunately it has some moments of really boring gameplay and some downright frustration.
In the game you build a bad Lair and send your minions around the world doing evil deeds. Meanwhile, you raise cash, more minions, build a larger base, buid traps, and defend your base against the evil do-gooder agent (ala James Bond) is trying to take it off.
do all these things is great fun. Only the decision on your basic design is fun and the graphics animations are so simple terrifc observe what happens is entertaining. Unfortunately, you really need to read between the lines, the objectives and read the manual a few times (and the online help) to find out exactly how things work. It is very easy, in moments where not much really going on and you can not figure what to put to do next. It is very easy for the moment to go through tedious hours.

I grew up with James Bond films, and although they might not be in general cinematic masterpieces, has the aesthetic always sparked my imagination. The same spark comes in the box with Evil Genius.
A mishmash of “Dungeon Keeper” and the “Sims” series, Evil Genius brings you to the top of a nefarious, cliché (though never boring) site for world domination. Take the role of a mad mastermind and recruit school in the world devious criminal leaders to your supervisor purposes. Era of the Cold War world authorities will try to stop you with their armed forces and secret services, while your counter legions of loyal minions. Setup operations underground on a picturesque island while wearing the mask of a destination. However, if you cause too much noise and unwelcome guests arrive, give them a true taste of your well-oiled madness. Lay ingenious traps connected on your island, torture prisoners in wickedly humorous way, or just rub it out and has the freezer. Expand your reach to all points around the world with the theft of money, valuable works of art, create landmarks (Eiffel Tower anyone?), And general evil nonsense, like your government Mol cover your tracks. I play computer games for Atari and Commodore 64, I’ve seen them all. I rarely have to give, all the games such a high score. Evil Genius deserves high marks this hands down!
It is detailed, well thought out, clever, humorous, engaging, a long playing time of 40-60 hours if you enjoy it and best of all this game has high replay value, since it will not be the same the next time you play it!

The premise –
I do not usually for the SIM games like this go. I am in first person shooters. This game has me totally absorbed.
If you have ever played a sim game, you will be familiar to play with this style. This game is like SimCity, The Sims and all the hardcore RTS game you’ve ever played. . . . Only this time it was done right!
Your a bad guy tries to dominate the world. You have to build your nest hidden under a mountain on an island. Have a wide assortment of missions to fulfill. Some give you gold, other known type, other type of value (valuable paintings, carpets, vases, statues), other people, help you train your men!
You must your head to read through the manual, follow the in-game glossary and the video tutorials. I spent to get used about 5 or 6 hours to the program on the easy setting. Then I started with the whole experience. It has paid off bigtime!
You have so many choices and options that no game ever, like the last one will go! Similar structure. . . but not every time a predictable game. Very nice, this game has high replay value!
For young adults, violence and torture scenes, very mild. . . cute and funny. Not gory or hardcore. This game is supposed to be funny, not taken seriously. An example of torture is the spy in a giant mixer and they are spinning around and around until it so dizzy, they forget what was their mission. Harmless.
The good parts of the game go on and on and is too much to list here!
Now for the bad – only two things
1 – This game is not for young children because it thinking adult level to play this game needs.
2 – There are some minor errors, that can cause big headaches. A patch was released that solve the big problems.
However, my personal experience went like this. . . have to go out on a mission requires that you build a special room for your evil spirit with his evil friends from all over the world, then you take and collect these companions.
I built it and started the mission. I put this space on the edge of my cave. Stupid! Agents kept tunneling in and destroy the room. I destroyed the room and made it in a different location. My advice, save your game regular (not quick save) with a good label and lift them! Do not delete until you know, everything is in order. I now keep atleast 25 different saves.
This game is great. A lot of effort and deep thought were in this game before to put a single line of code was written game. This game is a role model for other game developers and programmers alike.
