I have decided to buy this collection after reading a lot of reviews of different websites. But none of them are very clear about the contents of the package, so here is the contents of the package

This package is worth the purchase, u get a number from one of the best-selling game of pioneers, also games like Fallout series, abd BG2 BG1 have developed developed.
The graphics are great, they look bright and sharp. The soundtrack is great and fits well with the ambience, u really feel the snow falls and the cold weather.
The gameplay is fun, it’s more like a hack n slash game is, I am a great fan of Diablo series, so I love this game. To put it in a nutshell, this game is hack n slash with D & D rules. If u like u will surely like Diablo. Baldur’s Gate fans will be somewhat disappointed to play the game. Charecter creation is great, this game can dual Charecters class, making it more fun, adds gameplay. My only complaint is there is no interation within r party members, but this has to do not affect the gameplay.
Overall if u ever get an idea of this game and do not know whether its worth the money, the answer is clear, is a best value for money r!

Pros:
1 Character creation is fun, detailed and in fact by any game on the market, much better than the NWN creation system.
2 Graphics are nice, but if you expect full 3D environment, you will be disappointed.
3 Music is simply awesome.
4 Did I mention, Character Creation is fun! Play is your tailor-made party, a very satisfying experience. Any kind of team can be played, the game can stand alone if you want.
Cons:
1 Does not have 3D environment like NWN
2 Gameplay is linear, but I do not care the point of my game is to develop my character.

I played all RPGs, Baldur’s Gate, NWN, Dungeon Siege, Final Fantasy, TOEE, etc.
And I must say that stumbling on Icewind Dale 2 was a real treat. .
Sure the graphics are outdated, but WOW. . the plot, the dialogue, the descriptions of rooms and actions are all incredibly well written (A breath of fresh air after the game, DS). The quests do not get in the way of the game, like so many others, that bogged down in annoying side-quests, like a lame attempt to flesh out the world. I would turn the game will be brought forward as TOEE, but in this game the battles are many and really fun, some good monster design. . Compare bogeys to NWN in this game. . so much better, and some of the unforgettable situations and dungeons.
When offered against other D & D rules games that pitted spelling choices and levels they are given is second to none. I enjoyed it, a druid in my party who could transform his arms in pythons, and for the first time in history actually CRPG animals used to summon magic. Even if many spells were simular to other games, it felt better to the characters and made available, rather than waiting to receive higher levels to be a useful spell.
My favorite part is that I have my team, where as in Baldur’s Gate I forced to play with characters I did not like, or was NWN choose where it was removed with difficulty and the interaction with henchmen.
RPing I enjoyed the characters and backgrounds interactions in my head and it really enjoyed looking for the treasure, unique IWD2 how a variety of polished stones. (Later, an addiction)
If you upgraded to the level of graphical TOEE this game, and it made with Turn Battle Tactics basis, it would be my favorite RPG of all time.

I have played D and D since college, and Icewind Dale is the closest experience to a D & D game I have had in 20 years. The characters are developable and fun, the game is challlenging and awards, and this package contains the strategy guide. If you’re like me, and I have a life outside of gaming – Get the Strategy Guide! It makes the game much more playable. I just started the AS module, and it is good.

I was thrilled to write them to a review of Icewind Dale Collection (thanks!). When I pre-ordered, there was no information about the content of this package on the Amazon site, only the regular full collection, so I looked around the missing details.
After Interplay Store, this package differs from the Icewind Dale Collection includes:

The soundtrack for Icewind Dale,
bonus CDs, including Icewind Dale and Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter strategy guides, an additional layer, and a series of portraits from Icewind Dale II 4 characters.
game is pretty much the same as the Baldur’s Gate series, with minor helpful additions, such as being able to get with the right mouse button on any fast slot, a spell / item link, and then Right-click on the button you want fast, and then again with the right mouse button to place the item you wish there. A disadvantage is that this selects the item or activate the spell. A practical way to disable this in order, right-click only once!
The character portraits are simply wonderful, and seen the paper-doll more traditional (I did not enjoy the cartoony ones in BG2). I love the fact that the player can use four sets of weapons in the weapons slots, and can have a bow equipped in a set and a sword and shield to the next. Not realistic, but if we the points are strapped to the sides of the characters present, it is more credible.
to play very funny. Good story so far.
