Okay, first thingie about the multi-player hotseat. . do not really know about it and not my cup of tea would, so in this post I do not touch him, because honestly, this is a game I really do not want to play with someone else. It is a “me” game.
This said, this is a nice addition to the Total War franchise. Sure, there are mods can pick up to tweak it, but nobody makes a mod better than the people who actually designed the game. In each of the campaigns you have cool trigger, add a dynamic taste like Richard and Philip II reinforcing the Crusades in the Holy Land and the Baron’s Alliance in the Brittania campaign.
had some prejudices about Kingoms that I fully expect to some Dinky little maps and about 5 hours of gameplay per campaign. Ohhhhhh No, Sir, these are full-fledged campaigns with lots of territories and tons of time to eat. They are all quite large, but the Americas campaign map is huge and was extremely fun Apache tribes. Nothing says, “Yippee,” if your dog apache soldiers are charging and doing that Indian war cry, you’ve heard in every John Wayne movie.
There is not a big upgrade over Total War II .. . ergo, there are no large graphics or engine overhaul, it’s easy to play more campaigns – much more. One of the most beautiful things I fell on the new campaigns that bring a few of the top-end units to work, so do not wait years to see how the Greek Fire Thrower works or the uber Templar cavalry get.
I no technical problems on Vista 32-bit Dual Core’ve had two. 13GHz, 2GB RAM and NVIDIA 7600 graphics card.
To say not much, not that were presented in previews and you can read from the description up top (which is just out of the Multi player-thingie which I really do not worry about it), unless you liked Total War 2, and then you’ll really love Kingdoms.
Pros:
– Same good looking graphics as Total War 2
– sound is amazing with new songs for each of the parties and campaigns
– tons more units
– Very large campaign maps

– Ummm. . . perhaps the multi-player function that is not so obviously great.

I’ve been a loyal fan of TW since Shogun, but I doubt I’ll buy another one. This XP will install securom on your PC without your permission, and if you are very Savy computer you will not be able to remove it. Securom it has conflicts with many other programs (including other anti-piracy programs, ironically known). The only way we can fight this nonsense is, “with our wallets and not buy a game that agree to use such tactics.
At least, SEGA should make it clear on the field, which is installed on your PC when you install the game and the consequences of this measure. Then you are as a buyer would be able to make an informed decision about whether you still wanted to buy.

I have more than got my money’s worth than the original. Do I want this version? Maybe. As others have noted, it is really a collection of mods – but then I do not do the multiplayer more, so poor disturb functionality in this respect, not me.
I had a lot of difficulties in the installation. He kept trying to get up, install a patch hung. 3 says the patch first 2 had the files altered “(DUH good!). I tried it a clean install of the original game and had the same result. These processes have a lot of time and produces a lot of frustration. At some point I had to do another clean install, then install 1st 2 & 3 installed manually first – then the individual campaigns correctly installed with the engine. as usual, were the official websites of the value zero for troubleshooting. I reduced the rating reflect these problems.
So far I have almost completed the Crusades campaign as the Kingdom of Jerusalem. At medium difficulty to play and fight, it has not much of a challenge. I still have problems with the attack ratings of some of the units – armored knights and Archers should devastate quality light infantry, but they do not. Historically, had a light infantry person (not a Spearman) about as many views of the killing of an armored knight, like a man throwing rocks at disabling an M1 Abrams has- tanks. While we mean about this subject, just because a knight his horse was not killed, he was out of it or dead – he simply fought on foot, and also quite effective – but this is not reflected in the game.

worth Conclusion: it is, $ 29. 95 plus shipping? Yes. Buy it. I’m looking forward to some of the harder factions and campaigns.

You must use “Medieval II – Total War” to play the expansion Kingdoms. The kingdoms expansion utilizes core game elements from the Medieval II: Total War game, so if you M2-TW retail purchase location “in-the-box”, then buy the kingdoms at a retail price location “in-the-box;” If you downloaded M2-TW from the internet, then invite Kingdoms from the same Internet provider (eg Steam, Direct2Drive and Digital River, etc.). So play the retail “in-the-box ‘version of the Kingdom of expansion, you need a DVD drive (the newer the better). The extension will automatically upgrade Kingdoms “Medieval II – Total War” to the first version 3, thus the need to maintain and install “Medieval II – Total War” update patches first 1 and 1 2 before installing the expansion Kingdoms. Be sure that your video card and RAM are sufficient for the task has grown. You also need to update your graphics drivers if necessary.
The Kingdoms expansion has four sub-modules: the Americas campaign, the Britannia campaign, the Crusades campaign, and the German Order of the campaign.

In the “custom battle” mode, you can either “select top”, “high” or “late” period, and you can select one of nineteen (19) battle maps.
The German Order campaign includes the following groups (all of which may or or may not be playable in “campaign mode,” but playable in “custom battle” mode): Denmark, the Holy Roman Empire, Lithuania, Mongolia, Norway , Novgorod, Poland and the Teutonic Order. In the “custom battle” mode, you can either “select top”, “high” or “late” period, and you can select one of eighteen (18) battle maps.
Of interest to modders, includes the expansion Kingdoms SDK tools, including a “Battle Editor for creating custom cards battle, and an” unzip “tool to edit data, you can open the pack, and then and / or replace some of the individual files. Look, to be honest someof these people not be fair with this game. Yes, they four mods, but they are four excellent mods of the best standards. The four new campaigns are huge and have excellent playback. The new factions are great (especially the Teutonic Order) and how are the new units. For those who are not reluctant. Buy it, I promise you will not regret it
