Neverwinter Nights (NWN) is alone in the midst of a rubble-strewn field of fantasy games. There are many aspects to NWN to show in a simple review, but I have to layout the basics to help my teammates!
Some general instructions and guidelines for prospective buyers:
– NWN is huge. It is time consuming. If you want to have fun and expect to spend a lot of time to do it. My friend bought the game on my recommendation and he has forgotten the name of his girlfriend recently.
– There are a lot of dialogue and reading in NWN. There are books on the history of the world and everything in between. There are hundreds, perhaps thousands of characters to interact in the world. If you do not like reading or story-development (that is, if you prefer action) NWN, then avoid like the finger of death.
– NWN is Dungeons & Dragons (D & D) in electronic form. If you do not disturb do not like magic, monsters and swords then. Your character in the game score and increase the service that prompts you to manage its skills and abilities – if you do not disturb, such as dealing with statistics and inventory will not.
The Story Line is immersive. The Diamond edition comes with so much game, it’s hard to explain. The original campaign alone is great – I mean huge. The Diamond edition comes with the original campaign, and two expansion packs (both as the original campaign in size and scope), also gives the Diamond you three premium modules (the official add-on adventure) and several smaller adventure packs . For the price you can not find a better offer – if this is your technical style of the game.
Note: your computer should not exceed the recommendations on the packaging. The game runs well in the specs, but the engine is good if your hardware can support. Dynamic lighting, environmental, shade, surround sound, etc – all the technical highlights of the world of NWN can be alive. Update your video and audio drivers for compatibility and follow the instructions from the publisher of the installation of the patch. The patches add some great features to the game.

This game is almost 4 years old – I took the day out there, and I’m still playing and enjoying it very much. The story is not quite as good as in Bioware’s Baldur’s Gate series, but its still better than almost anything else out there. And the real plus is the fan content – there are hundreds of downloadable adventure “modules” for this game, some of them really excellent. To the guy who complained about the portraits, I have not used in years – there are many very beautiful, you can download for free.
There is a problem with this package Diamond – Atari, the producer (not Bioware), the main change with some kind of copy protection, which it screws. But all you have to do the update program (included on the DVD), and all is well – the correct file is downloaded and installed. If that worries you, or you have a DVD drive, or just want a printed manual, instead of using the Platinum version – you can use the “kingmaker” modules later. But do not miss NWN – this is a really great game!

This game is incredible!
The original game is really a classic.
Quick sketch history: The city is under siege Neverwinter fail, no person, but a disease. You need the healing fight your way through the streets of Neverwinter to find and defeat your opponents. Very open game allows you to decide which direction you want to wear to the next.
Underdark Story: My mentor had some very important, magical artifacts stolen from him. In your quest to them a safe return, an enemy, a way has become one of the artifacts used to raise the ancient city of Undrentide back to heaven found.
Underdark Story: A siege of the city of Waterdeep has come from below. All manners of wicked creatures come out of the Underdark and you must stop it all. Amazingly open, you can up to four different sub-missions, if you are there, and get only three before doing the final battle happens. A great closing to a wonderful epic.
The extensions are both incredibly original addons to the game, so to follow a completely new story, and whole new classes, talents, skills and values acting to strengthen their control over the character. The replayability of the game is very high as you can choose hundreds of combinations of classes, talents, weapons specialization, every aspect of the game and character development is in your hands.
Warning If those who hope to pick up, easy to learn a game and play it will be disappointed. A player must be very precise to make decisions about the character development to get the best out of character. But if you have: 1) played familiar with D & E 2), other D & D games like Icewind Dale or Baldur’s Gate, 3 sit down) and really get to learn the great things about the game, then They deal in a vast, that are played over and over.

This is a great game! However, Atari was able to send an entire mission without installation codes. After Amazon sent me the second version without the code, I contacted Atari and was informed of this error. Once I emailed them a photo of the missing area codes they sent it to me. Since then I’ve had a lot of fun. I had the game with five stars, but also with the latest patches still a tendency to crash every once in a while. I recommend saving often.

Firstly this game and next to my memory, “paper and pencil” D D has come implemented on the computer. The NPC scripting and depth of the quests and story lines are excellent in the single-player campaigns. Round the main side quests Adventures.
I am a little surprised by complaints of game interface and programming. I have a first 8 GHz machine with 1 GB of RAM and 128 MB GeForce FX 5200 card and I can run it on the highest quality at 1024×768. The only decreases are, if I neglect to shut off file-sharing software. In addition, the interface is good, the gameplay is solid, and above all fun.
I recommend this game, and can not wait to see what NW2 will have to offer.
