I am an avid flight simmer and these are a large group of “David Clark” such as headphones. They are very comfortable when they are set properly, I have worn them for 5 + hours to get to a point in time. They make a pretty good seal to your head and around the ears, so I can see what a guy has to say about the glasses and with questions. The volume control on the side is a big plus!
I thought I would have to this review after one year, they add. The only real question that has happened to me that the ear pads could be better. Either they are getting tougher and my ears become more sensitive, because they start to hurt after extended use. I think they really wanted, that they are exactly like the real thing because it is such a good seal around your ear, they block outside noise, especially in the high-end make. I can never listen to my wife at all with these on!

I have the Saitek yoke, pedals, gas, and a backlit keyboard, and I must say I am very satisfied with the quality of their products. The headset is very professional. I am a private pilot and it is very similar to the David Clark headsets, although of course not correct. I think that Saitek has to find a great job, the right compromise between quality and price. Do you have a Saitek radio stack on the way!

I have not tried this with MS Flight Sim. But with several combat sims I have, this product is terrible noise.
Negative:
This is far too narrow. I wear glasses and within 15 minutes, I can feel parts of the skin near my ears are deaf.
I am over 40 years. So, my hearing is not what it once was. TOO MUCH BASE! It hurts my ears and I can not distinguish sounds with lower base (sounds higher pitch). It is too difficult, other sounds, to recognize not be loud. . . if loud, my ears hurt.
mic boom is difficult to set properly at higher angles for smaller heads. It’s range of movement is good at lower angles, but how you raise it, are you afraid to bend or break.
Postive:
The volume control is nice. It is very responsive and offers a lot of volume when you need it.
The microphone is very sensitive. I had to reduce the microphone input with Mic Boost in Windows, as it was picking up sounds from all over the house (and that was through a closed door!)
Nice mute button feature on the front of the microphone. If you can use all the time to vote, which is nice because it mut when touching the front of the MIC.
Over all, due to the lack of comfort and the inability between sounds distinction, I can not evaluate more than one second I wish I could find a one sentence. 5, because that’s how bad I do not like. At the price I bought it for ($ 99) it was a waste of money for me.

I thought I just had a number of them have, as I use most of the Saitek Pro Flight Equipment with FSX. I had a good pair of headphones, but wanted to “Aviator” look. Upon arrival, I anxiously cut open the blister pack and pulled the wonderful-looking headset. I plugged it into my PC’s audio and the crowd went instead to my head. Uh-Oh. . . They were too short to reach my ears full. I checked for additional travel and there was none. They were fully extended. Oh No! Well, I just had something so I loosened the screws and extends it past the stops and tried them to try again. Uh-Oh! The ear muffs were too small. You would not completely fit over the ears and the depth was so shallow to my ears rested against the ground. Well, I just needed to work around them, so I endured it for two days, but they were too uncomfortable and too hot to use for more than a little while.
Amazon issued me an easy return RMA packed, so I walked up and down, on their way back to Amazon. Now I’m back with my Plantronics GameCom that fit comfortably and actually make superior sound to the Saitek’s but with a much worse microphone. The Saitek had a big microphone. I could hear footsteps actually my wife when she went into our computer room and the floor is carpeted. The plan Tronic’s mic is terrible and barely gets anything. Fortunately, I did not use mic anyway, but wanted a headset with a just in case.
PROS:
– good looks
– very responsive mic, but you can not shut it off. The button stops the only mic While it is sad, but starts immediately after you let it go.
– Headphones are only so-so. I have a few pairs of Cheapy Walkman-style, which actually sound better.
– Volume control works well.
CONS:
– Unless you’re a child or teenagers, they are likely to be too small for you.
– too hot to wear long.
– Head-phones are not great. Barely acceptable.
– Mic arm gets in the way.
Overall impression:
Looks good, but very unpleasant. Too small for most adults. I sent it back, so that pretty much states my opinion.

Saitek has developed a large flight simmer headset. For a pair of “Cans”, these are as close to reality, as one can get. They are precision and high quality. The only drawback that I see is, the temple is not as big as it should be. If your head is the size, this could be a little tense.
