If truth be told, with a big fan of the original Dungeon Siege, I was anxious, more in Space Siege than any other game this summer. Hyped as the next creation by Chris Taylor and Gas Powered Games (both DS FAME), this was supposed to be the Space Age answer to the upcoming Diablo III. Now all hell broke loose, for sure. . .
The story is thin, but the tissue will not really been a problem (after all, DS increases with its “simple peasants to the challenge of saving the country” story was little. .. Shakespeare), if the game were dipping to give a chance. He does not. The not to forget that he plays a video game. And the moment when he could be caught in the act, the controls will be awkward to bring him back. I have not seen such a bad camera placement and panning since Neverwinter Nights 2
Graphics, where SS: creative and clear detail shines everywhere. Environmental Design is not: after a short time the next corridor looks exactly like all previous ones. And gives the feeling of running in circles.
The game sounds are not something you brag about either. The explosions and weapon discharges are well done, while the background music is good, but by DS standards (I’m still using this theme as a ringtone).
There is no fun either looting . Dead enemies are generic components that are used to buy (can also commonly) are upgrades. No complete sets, not to seek unique items, not made specifically to buy weapons or armor. In the course of the game have cybernetic enhancements are available, but how in the game to keep NTC pointed out, there are costs to your character was added humanity.
As to its length, as the old Woody Allen joke on an elderly couple complained about their quiet dinner at home: “Oye goes, it’s terrible,” “I know – and such small portions.”
Conclusion: If you’re a Dungeon Siege in a futuristic environment you expect, well, the game is not out yet. Without an inventory and a class system is hardly an SS CRPG, it is rather an isometric third person shooter, similar Shadowgrounds – Survivor or Alien Shooter: Vengeance. And because these last two games do not look as something they are not, in the end make it more enjoyable. If the market for a CRPG space, rather than trying Space Hack.
A disappointment.

Set aboard a spaceship with aliens over-run. She, with the help of a loyal robot assistant to go around the ship undertaking tasks and blasting aliens. So far so good, but there is where everything falls. This is seen quite well, it’s very very boring, and while she tries to be innovative, but in the end, a top-down shooter with some RPG elements. You can update your game to give you a little bit about you or the aliens from the slaughter rejected and you can update in a form Cybernaut. It should mean something, but it does not work. What actually happens is rather boring and the game lacks any level of stress or challenge. You follow your mission, you kill aliens, sometimes you die, but then recover back a little and move on. Dull, dull, dull.
Reminded me a lot of Shadowgrounds, which was better, and do not as something it was not his.
Probably best avoided, or to wait until You can get it for a cheap price (trust me, it is not long!)

After checking out the site and video clips, I bought the game. While waiting for him, I saw some official reviews – and the reviewers were surprised with an average of much criticism, what if I bought the game after all should have. I played the demo and thought, maybe it will be okay, but now that I finally got the game and they were playing, I like it!
I think the problems of the reviewers is that they thought , rather it would be a RPG, but it’s really more an action game. There are skills that can put you in points, and you have a choice of first-person shooter-style weapons that you can point to in order to update them, just like a robot companion to spend upgrade. However, there are no talks or branching much in the way of character interaction.
The levels are a good set of object destructability in them to break with exploding barrels and containers, staggering scenery, and things like some windows when fired, and things like that. The reviews I read, they said, it was exactly the same boring landscape – gray walls and rooms – throughout the game, but gives the game it good choice in floor and wall textures and finishes, even if they are all metal parts, There’s even an organic area with trees and grass and water. I think they have a good job for an environment on board a spaceship.
I liked the lighting and effects, the sound and music. I think it might not for everyone, but I like it surely. I am currently saving up for a new computer to play some of the recent high-end computer games, and I was pleasantly surprised that this game will run at full settings on my current old computer. So it can not be a modern high-end, next-gen title, but I have a lot of fun with it anyway. I think have been the demo not a whole feel for it, or perhaps should be longer. The main thing is not to go into it thinking that it is a game similar to Diablo or Dungeon Siege, because it’s not about booty collection, it’s more like a first-person shooter game, but from an isometric perspective, rather than by us your eyes.

This game can seriously in 10 hours or less to be ready. There is no challenge, no big twists and the end is a joke.
Words simply can not describe how this shit is. There is no replay value in it either, cuz in the end it does not matter if you are a cyborg or full of people, whether you join a pilot or fight against him: because the end encounters are exactly the same.
< , br /> Extremely disappointed in this game. Wait a few months when the game is $ 20 dollars, could then be worth it.

Despite what the critics and hardcore gamers, who seem never said happy about the game, I really liked this game. I am an occasional gamer, not much time, and I can no longer pull all-nighters, or certainly never leave-the-house at the weekend kind of gaming marathons, just because I’ve Done it “position. Those days are long gone. So that’s where a game like this fits quite well. Can I get me wherever I went, and not lost the feeling. I can enjoy all the gaming goodness, and not feel like I have to go through the tutorial again. This game has great visuals, touch and a small, if somewhat predictable story. There is always that darn ship computer seems useful, then goes bad and will kill you! Certainly, this game is not Dungeon Siege Dungeon Siege II or in its depth, story, visual perspective and one million configurations, but I’m sure it’s because Chris Taylor does not have a hand in the operation from day to day – after all that he only “produced” it is not “directed” is. But it makes for a nice diversion space adventure that will help us tide over Starcraft II will come out until finally, if it ever will. Playing Halo 1 and 2 for the PC also helps in this regard, although it is a shooter, not an RTS – but I digress. This game is a beautiful addition to your collection, I recommend buying it.
