Before the Sims 2: Open for Business, Sims owners could control every aspect of their Sim’s life, except for one: work. They would bring the relationship to gain skill points to go to college, to vampires themselves, but for a few hours each day they would disappear from view, so that a hole in the day for the game of the actors. Well, this is no longer the case. With Open for Business, you can now also control their economic ambitions. What will it is a fun, if more than expected challening, mini-game that /> the capabilities of the micro-management sims players testing.
Now there are some imbalances in the game to take note. First, you need plenty of cash to a company set up. Without cheating, it is usually quite difficult to draw the money on one line to even the simplest of starting businesses. It would have been nice to invest any kind of process where we could invite other investors or even has as owner, but how did it is a fairly basic business simulation. The second imbalance comes when you create a successful business at some point: it is so successful that more money than you know what to do. Admittedly, this is not really a gripe, but it is certainly in stark contrast to the beginnings of your business.
The actual running of the business can do two things to different actors: a fun, challenging break from normal Sims gameplay or a boring, tedious exercise in micromanagement be. I personally experienced the former, but I could see why it might be boring. Not only do you have to worry about your own needs, you have about your employees work breaks, and ensure your customers are satisfied. They are also in constant need of reminders why it is overwhelming in the store in the first place, the sheer number of times I took advantage of “selling the” command on various customers. However, it’s all come very well, and it’s really rewarding exectued to see regular customers buying in to your everyday cakes and pastries (although it is a little suspect when she gets to buy a new TV every day). I enjoy the challenge and the feeling that most people. It is a departure from the guarranteed-to-win dating mini-game from Nightlife, too.
I have to mention also introduced the huge robots that have restored the series. You get your own robot from scratch to build up, from cleaning robot servos fully operational, as required by people with no job (with the exception of the occasional recharging).
Other people have problems with bugs in their games, but I have to run yet (other than standard Sims 2 error). I found it particularly difficult to operate some stores, though – I could never do that new trendy nightclub / salon to get their way. Oh well.
Pros:
Great new mini-game for Sim owners
adds a lot of new content and options Fun
< br /> Rewarding companies
robot!
Cons:
Many micro-management
Some like the challenge, a diversion to find
buggy for some people Slight game imbalances

There are some things I just love about this new expansion pack. It’s great to be able, simply choose the formal wear when our sims get married, I was always really bored with the standard wedding dress. As a result, I have downloaded many beautiful wedding dresses from the fansites. Finally, we will be able to change appearance for the children without a hacked mirror. Yay! Thanks to Maxis. Even with this expansion, we now have a cheat twins and a food to increase the chance of twins. Perhaps it will now be slowly down to the influx of all the threads the twins on the BBS. Maybe not, but a girl can hope, can not you?
The companies are really nice in some ways, but I’m not so much in the matter Tycoon. It is very challenging and sometimes it seems frustrating to have your SIM card, a social life outside their business. It’s fun, but.
It’s a shame about the bugs emerging. They are so bad they could possibly toast neighborhoods, the players have worked so hard. Here are just a few I have seen, around-
Sims get stuck “during their business community. When the taxi arrives to take home the SIM, the SIM will not get in the taxi. Instead of the SIM waves his arms in the air and screams as if there is a problem. You have to have to wait for the first taxi, call a taxi to take the SIM to another community a lot and then home. Supposedly this is the case when you save a lot on business. I did not save, only some modification of the lot and it happens anyway. Fortunately, I had not taken the SIM card into the business in his car, otherwise he might have been lost in a kind of limbo until we get a patch.
Bakeries are very confused about it. Dessert items disappear from the inventory of the owner, making it difficult to fill. You can only at certain times of desserts. should be in real life bakers start before sunrise Sun SIM baker situation, too. And like the other review mentioned the Sims can buy the desserts do not eat them. What is the meaning of a bakery then?
The new Mission furniture is nice, but seems to have some problems. The love seat shows how black and has no color or wood options, as is suspected.
Business Some games disappear completely as they were before. Gone, poof. I’m not sure what it does, but it could cause problems related to assignment uniforms. It has to me yet (shock happened on wood) but I’m definitely not the assignment of any uniform, goes to more information. This will hopefully in the future to be addressed patch.
I know there are a few other bugs I’m forgetting at the moment. At least it appears that Maxis top right of this and hopefully will be a patch in no time. I would recommend if you buy the sims like me go ahead and love the game, but watch out for the problems. Read stay on the BBS on the official website for updates on the bugs and the workarounds. Others want to wait (hopefully only one or two weeks) until the patch comes out.

I am not yet tired of playing Sims 2 and it is in large part due to the immense replay value that the original game and the additions had this expansion pack. Open for Business offers a number of new things, a game that already a lot of replay value and variety.
Pros:
newbies < , br /> Ability to run a business at home (in spite of the negatives below, I have to give the sims team praise for adding this capability).
ability to buy homes and own businesses in the community .
Ability to rent Townies
robots
Cons:
-Bugs! What does it take get some clean, well-tested software these days?
Running a Sims business is very demanding. I play PC games as a way of rest and relaxation after a busy day. Running a business sim in Sims 2 times feels more like work than playing, especially when the business starts with loads of customers come in not
The number of urbanites available to hire to keep up to meet with business .
As for the other expansion packs, I felt the price was slightly high for what was added.
“own 5 successful companies’ aspiration for life. Running one is more work to play as such, but 5? Each Sim of me until that comes with aspiration, gets its head in the ReNu gadget for the purpose of getting a new stick.
-How is informed by others, sends someone to work a whole day in a Community businesses and then they come home at the same time that they left is kind of funny (of course we already had that with the original game and night life would be with the Sims community lots. University at least kept the clock running semester). < , br />
Despite the fact that the Cons more space than the pros, came up, I think this is overall a good addition to the Sims 2 lineup. If you want the full benefit of the business side of this extension would suggest, I, new neighborhood, they associate with their own university, and downtown business districts (not employ as you, with all these pre-Sims) and then only one family. Hold the first family members employed in the standard jobs that came with the original game, always promotions, bonuses and then create a large pool of income and friends. Once that is accomplished, then you could start a younger member of the family, a company with a good supply of capital and to rent Townie friends. This makes the two biggest challenges / frustrating parts of running a business and SIM, you can concentrate on the fun aspects of the game. That’s my two cents anyway. 4 stars to play for fun (the “work” as opposed “frustration that the leadership of a company are sometimes in the game led me to take away a star), 3 stars overall (lost two stars because of errors and price).

I love this game – and I am 54 years old! The pace of running a business (successfully) is a bit hectic, but hey, it’s in real life too! Be sure and read the manual thoroughly – there are many small in-and out is new, want to know this game, and you will see what they are if you want to operate your business smoothly SIM.
My only complaint is that different in the time of Sim’s Sim’s home store. For example, is woman and her husband comes home to work on his business by 7 clock. Husband works all day and comes home – and it is still 7:00! Makes it difficult to sleep / wake up sequence to bind with the leadership of a company to obtain.
Otherwise it’s great. I’m here to buy one for my son (because I do not want to share, mine!)

The great thing about the Sims series has always been the way you can to take on challenges, you could never imagine pulling off in real life have been. Open for Business continues this tradition, adding to almost any business can be imagined to create. Ever wondered how a compound nightclub / gym would work? Give it a go!
Opening a business is more demanding than many of the activities of the Sims series has offered so far. I would not exactly call the process simple. One of the first items you need is to have your company open to a sign of open / closed. Without this there is no way for customers to know that you are open, and employees know to come to work. The funny thing is that this oh so important part of the inventory is located in the catalog, where you might have just enough to stumble upon them accidentally hidden. There are several such problems, how to call employees have to adjust them, but they magically know when that open / closed sign that it’s time to start their working day flip.
Once you start your business, however, and the work by the breakdown in logic, the game really intense. You’re going to have to have some support for almost every starting a business, simply because of the costs of cash and merchandise. Not everything is smooth as soon as these things do not.
Not only have to work hard for the money, you can take yourself have employees. From the bizarre to the conscientious, it is your job to monitor it and ensure that they are on task and make money, instead it will cost. Bad employees can have a significant impact on your business, because their impact mood of customers and customer satisfaction. If you are a good team is to manage and pay them their happy hour with what you have to pay for each hour, you have to have a long way that companies from the ground.
< br /> The better your company is known, the better looks at the opportunities. You can lower prices on wholesale items, the oh so like life. It is always those who do not need the money to get the discounts. You can also gain social skills, meeting new Sims makes more rewarding and easier. The star will ensure that you always know how satisfied you are keeping your customers, what would kill for many companies in the real world.
The expansion has not only end the game, there However, 125 new objects and robots have been added to the mix. Robots are great fun, and oh so eager to please. Like a 70’s Sci Fi Dream, they cook, clean, and try to anticipate your needs. Then, like every 70’s sci fi distopia when they get angry they can trash the house and run to another robot.
The new items add an additional level of adaptation to the game, what ie, it looks better than ever. The sound ranges from several big music, the funniest effects ever, and, as one would expect to experience an integral part of the game. If you do not even speak Simlish, perhaps this expansion will be a couple of notes as you hear the radio chatter away, or perhaps an angry customer is raging at you because of a lazy worker.
