I like the potential of this game. If the developers put a little more effort into this, this series could go toe to toe with the best strategy games out there. Of course the problem is that the effort was a half-hearted. I personally regret not buying, but I hope that Namco will give up the Warhammer license and another developer / publisher to have a crack at them.
First, the good things . The game looks great. Much effort has been in the production of models and environments. Gritty The Warhammer world is evident in the visuals. The voice is quite good as well. I like the heroes and the dynamics of great battles, despite being a chaotic heap, so that they feel. The game comes with a number of cards, so you can skirmish at the end of the campaign, the play focuses on the two new races (Orcs and Dark Elves). I found the game very stable on my computer, which is not always the case with PC games these days.
Okay, the stuff that I did not like. Where should I start: Unit animations, while improved over the original game still does not give you the feeling that visceral combat takes place. There is also a lack of game modes in single player (only the campaign and skirmish). During the campaign is decent, it’s pretty hard in several missions, including at the normal difficulty level. And you can not save the game within a mission. So if you are not a mission (and you will), you must start over. A map editor is not with the game, so modding is not really supported. The game just feels a little sterile and empty in other ways that are difficult to describe.
After playing games like Battle for Middle Earth 2 and Dawn of War, this game has frustrated me of all of its untapped potential. The developer has not for the release of many patches or provide other support have been known, so that I not imagine that the game be improved in the future.
If you the original game (Mark of Chaos has fallen), Battle March is more of the same. There is not much here for those who like me, especially single-player games on the campaign. The game can be played online, but I’m not sure that much of a community. In sum, there is a better strategy games out there.

Multiplayer is apparently locked until you finish the single player game. Which would not be so bad if the individual players was not so frustrating. You can not half way through a level to fail if you start the whole level. No wonder that this game was so cheap.

I love the Warhammer universe, but the gameplay is so boring, repetitive, does not respond, and does not capture all the fun of the table top or the darkness of the universe, I can not recommend it, even hardcore fans like me.

Simply put, this is the modern version of the original real-time strategy game Warhammer Dark Omen. The game was strange, and it is this. Only Warhammer Fanboys is it is for you as player vs. player opportunities and AI is at best patchy. As in the original, your options for the creation of an army are quite large, but the actual deployment of the options is based on the game mechanics. Computer-system resource management below average, and the UI is terrible. you can not see much of what is going on, control of the camera is limited, and the unity of command not intuitive. In the Total War series to this game is simply missing in the UI area. It amazes me that they made an expansion, because I stopped in the first half of the campaign. The idea of history and the campaign are great, but the numerous errors in the actual fighting outweigh the pros. Since this is not what I really want, I would like to see more Warhammer game like Total War: Medieval, with the Warhammer universe. But what is publisher that picked up?

Something is missing in this title. I have to try it again because the price was great. I paid for it on Amazon $ 9 79 I raised it, because the expansion was included in it. But they did not take the time to improve this game. I could not recommend this game to anyone who was a serious strategy gamers.
The model for this kind of games were of the Total War series like it, or not proven. All games of this type will judge that by the standard. It’s like they have missed the event. Spend your money elsewhere. If you buy go looking for a good fantasy-type of war game in the Total War mode King Arthur: The Role Playing Fantasy Wargame! Well, that’s a good game, notice that the Total War model.
