Note: My review is below, but I wanted the Collector’s Edition address, because that’s the version I purchased. What a wonderful CE; much better than the more expensive edition of Age of Conan (excluding the game). The unpainted miniature is fantastic and a nice allusion to the table top game where they came from. The two hard bound books (art book and a comic book) are fantastic, with great art and, in the case of comics, a great forerunner of the game.
The best parts however, the in-game items. The book is not too large since it vanishes on charges works (3) and buff the two hours of death. But, each race receives two quest items have titles and a unique item, like a cool cape or an item that different bonsuses offers. The Collector’s Edition faces are terrific. I have only seen the destruction side versions so far, but looks like a cyclops face the chaos, the Dark Elves get a red war paint / mole and the pixie face is crazy if adorable. Very cool and definitely noticeable.
All in all a very worthwhile acquisition, which complements an excellent game. If you can get your hands on one, I’d recommend it twice.
On the review.
Mythic knows how to make a MMO successful run. Make them take the big, hard decisions. When class balancing and fun was at stake, they cut into four classes, at both the balance of races, but also because the classes are not up to snuff. And when all six capital cities were problematic, they took four of them and they will later release as free content.
From Dark Age of Camelot, a game that unbearably belongs to the first generation of MMOs, Mythic decided to take the Warhammer and craft a game that they know best: Realm versus Realm. Warhammer Online (WAR) takes everything they tested, tested and work from DAoC and pushed it into a new generation. Writing this review is difficult because on the surface of war, like most MMOs out there. But the details and the little things that make it into something else entirely.
Is we are catching up with the course of the game. From the beginning, PvP is important as one of the first quests, you will receive to complete a scenario. In this way, underlines its commitment to WAR more than PvE. In fact, one could spend all his time PvP’r PvPing and level all the way to the final. It helps that scenarios are constantly running and chances are you are in one, before you know it.
The distinction is that if you do not really care much PvP are there are other possibilities. Spread throughout the game are about 300 (according to developers) Public Quests (PQS). These PQs are areas within each zone that are open to all on your part, the matter in., whether you participate or not, grouping with someone, you are in various stages of these areas (stages that the killing of a number of things contribute to the field, fighting a boss like a dragon or destroying urns) and, if the PQ roll over you on a loot bag. What makes this work even better is that each loot bag is a piece of equpiment that your class can use, which have guaranteed.
There are also a bar, your story chapter PQ progress and awards you three different positions (usually a potion or talisman, followed by equipment tracks and then a weapon) as you progress through three stages.
rich Awards persecuted at every turn, even in PvP, as you are separated from your PvP level. On certain levels or Renown ranks as they are called, you have access to help not only powerful equipment but also renown skills you will both PvP and PvE. But let us not stop here, every race of the pairings are zones, divided into classes, with tier four of the high salary. Each zone has PvP areas with towers and, as you hold in two levels of progress. can play both sides (Destruction and Order) and to hold, if your guild is high enough in rank (more on that later), you can capture a keep in your name.
But it also holds as PQ-treated surfaces which populated by NPCs and a very strong leader that also supplies equipment. Fighting can keep in an epic encounter in turn, to break with siege weapons, rams to keep the walls, boiling oil for the defenders to pour Wouldbe attackers, places for ranged attackers to unleash devastating spells and arrows. . . It is to be involved in quite a hurry, particularly as both sides start, more aggressive, calling in reinforcements to help.
And as the game progresses, these types of battles are common. Which is a huge difference to the elephant in the room, World of Warcraft. WoW crafts a similar structure, with two side duking it out. . . but it was never meant a great PvP-centric game in the way WAR is. From the beginning you are immersed in this struggle, from the first level all the way to the end and beyond.
And all this is before you deal in as many bars / levels must be to get there. Sure, the game at level 40 is limited at the start, but that is not taken into consideration that each chapter associated PQs a bar with loot, or that it has taken more than 80 prestigious series that a lot of PvPing, or that your Guild in fact up to 40 levels based on not how many members you have in your guild but on their performance, a system that is both small and large guilds benefits. Guild ranks are actually important because they provide you with a ton of skills, the ability to implement benefit-providing standards with a guild vault to Guild access auctions, craft vendors, fast flight paths to the dungeons, keeps the ability to take, etc.
There are just so much here, so many shinies to attract your attention. And all this is in the Tome of Knowledge, a large compendium that tracks everything you do to benefits of quests tied to tracks, etc. It is so that you deeper wonder how Mythic did it. And pulled it off, they did. WAR is a game that feels as relevant and monumentous genre-shifting as WoW did when he came.
So, there you have it. A very extensive review, that not even half of what the game has to offer, touch (you really wanted to be here for another century?), But must remain incomplete. Because here’s the thing. Even if you strip away all the little details that leveling and all that garbage, I spent more input on what we find. . . This game is fun. And varied. And it is exactly what I wanted and needed from a MMO.

OK, so this game will not only write on a recent fast-paced game. I will go into the depths, as so far as I can, so please write to me.
I’m going to say the former, this game has had many problems and has been fighting a his uphill battle on a hill of ice. I know. . I was no less (largly due to i beat GW and GW2 isn’t out yet … and I am a mythical loyalist, despite their many many many errors). You have had serious problems with bugs, balance and loops, among others. Fortunately, much of this was determined, and more coming very soon! I will not sit here and tell you it’s the perfect game because it’s not but I will tell you what is wrong wrong and what has been fixed and is addressed now or in the future.
< br /> ———————————————< , br />
The first thing I did on my WAR for over a year and I’m comparing it with dead, sick people have been WoW. It is not WoW over it.
1 WoW has for years. . . to resolve several extensions of time and stuff. WAR has been almost a year. Compare WoW after 1 year at a WAR year. After 1 year of war has more content and less bugs than WoW. . . looks promising for me, but most people have gotten so used to an old game, that the market for years they are too impatient to wait for a new game in order to fix slow the process of setting impatient when all leaves, preventing zombifying compony from enough money to support all its employies. . .
2 It is not primarily primary PvP PvE. . . so dont bother for PvE grinding and then complain it is a party to grind. . . There is no PvP can start right away, not a grind and if you so choose not even to touch to PvE at all, as you can in PvP and level.
Ok it is already a year, now, what then?
1 OK, there are still mistakes, but they are not all equal, new bugs of new content. And they are relatively small errors, the lack of impact on gameplay. Not to mention get out of bugs I see every few weeks to repair than let them.
2 They have more content was added, not only simple oh hey here is a new quest or armor piece, but a worthy expansion. Guess what. It’s free. . . as of right now the war is aimed their free extensions, they have considered, a salary increase for the expansion, maybe (I stress maybe) somewhere on the road, but it probably holds free. Whole regions and classes were added. And I also expect new races in the coming years. . . (I hope not) two years.
3 Revamped: The game is based on revised player, but not developer feedback of the players. RvR and PvP has drasticaly change so that it smoother and faster. . . not wasting 24 hours last Capitol City.
4 Revamped: Major complaint class balance. This will be fixed in the next month. They are characterized by a large patch that the classes on order and Destro mirror pages will be putting together more closely, as they thought. Same name and different skills to the state. . . but essentialy the same capabilities. Also for crowd control is now finally resolved and is no longer the mass spam nest it has been. It will be difficult to obtain, must solve a number of requirements, and will be limited Wise class (most classes is to lose most of their mass is the control, tanks win Crowd Control makes them better at their job). < br />
Leveling and costomization did suck. . . Final missing and what about the repeats?
1 OK, if you are in PvE and you were so sick to take that with a brick wall or another animal. . . it repaired. . . Leveling is much softer, as it was meant. . .
2 Customization is always better. There are more trophies, armor (and more armor set design variation), and even mounts. granted some are getting a little more difficult than others, but that is how it should be. . . Some things just a little heavy. . .
3 Even fallen as the repetetiveness. . . Now the live events are more frequent and more diverse. . . dont worry if she does not once things. . . You plan to bring them back. . .
4 End Game. . . End game has been revised. . . Now things are easier, so you can access more of the end game content, and end game contect was added (for example a continent new stuff)
I the bugs, the people and the graphics.
1 I hear people quit because of shit graphics. this is no longer the case. The graphics are much much better than they were in clossed beta and early game. . . and rumors abound about another graphics update.
2 Graphics were solid iron, there is far less delay. . . much much better.
3 Population issues are in addition to the now silent. Before it was sad. . . The server was maxed on Pop, and yet one could hardly find anyone. Well, finally resolved. They merged most of the servers I believe in, 7 servers, and the pop-cap raised tramendously. I have never register and find things feal dead. . . Lose RvR and PvP, PvE, or its amazing!
4 The errors are so much less than they once were. . . most of them are hardly noticeable much less effect your game. Servers can get stabability 50/50 immediately after a major update for the game, but mostly comes fixed in 1-2 weeks. . . or at least until they find a permanent solution decreases.
———————-< br / >
In End Note. . . the game is enormously better than it was. . . much much better. I did dock a star by the bugs and so we still go through, but with the updates just now and as soon as they work, I know this game can pick up back. (As long as they do not let EA rush it no more). I would like to note also that they are under new management now, and the new management is so far a lot smarter. . . they were more willing to tell us, the players with less stuff, donated strait forward around the proverbial Bush. And the players hear a lot more than before. Note also promising that another important compony Jumpin on the car, and depending on how they handle things that we know what can be seen as well on the game Spead. . Looks promising. . . can not wait to see what happens next year after last years performance warranty.

Tired of the “Pac-Man” PVE game? Looking for a PvP / RvR game? That’s it. The game starts with quests in the middle of the fight scene (rather than picking cactus apples). Research servers are for you to max value. Level grind is much more fun than WoW, not even the feeling of a grind (perhaps the last three stages to 40). Wolk? Another grind for 10 more levels? Rather, an elective colostomy. This game is slightly cut, but a diamond in the Ruff MMO will be.
Played WoW since beta and will never go back.

Short and simple review: The game is wonderful.
Player vs. Computer:
-quests are easy to understand, to do quickly, and most can be completed solo
Public Quests-fun when you play only 20 minutes. You can jump in the middle of the quest to end or the beginning of just walking near the quest area. Rewards are good and if it is a few times you will win something.
Trade-skills easily and not as boring as past games. Example: If you choose the path of the battles that you skill level as you kill monsters by an extra first 5 seconds after each move slaughter. Easy does it and you’ll get somewhere!
PvP:
mission scenarios based PvP. Capture the flag type games, for example
Open RvR Amazing. Nothing is more fun in the game then a group with 5 of your friends in front of a hostile group of six players in the middle of nowhere! The mechanics work and skill is required. Choose your target wisely. . .
And do not forget to heal!
Graphics: Beautiful scenery. The country is increbile for each race. I do not want to spoil everything! The characters are decent looking, but could get a slight improvment. Mythic has stated http://herald in this article (. Warhammer Online. Com / warherald / News Article. War? Id = 247), as the start they will continue to specifically add more graphics options for people with high-end computer. But do not worry, it’s great now and will continue in the course of the game are improved.
Sound: Not much music. Sorceress sound effects are quiet. . . I like it but. I never expected to spells are very loud. This could also be a personal preference. Many NPC’s talk, too! I like the cast does seem to me more traded.
So: This is ideal for people who do not play too much time. If you have time? Then you will go far and quite powerful very quickly. You can only improve so much fun!
Fun: It’s fun and incredibly easy to follow, losing time!

I will not be reviewed as a war game here. If you want game reviews, you can see many places. Here I will present the CE box, and the specific order you get with him. = D WARNING: LONG
Grumlock and Gazbag Miniature: This is a high quality pewter miniature. If you are a Warhammer tabletop player, you know that a miniature, as it will cost you about $ 20 retail alone. It is a great mini, full of character. If you’re not get Warhammer tabletop player, then you have a lump of tin is plain, that you do not know what to do with it! Give it to a friend, an orc and goblin army in the tabletop, has he or she will love it.
Prelude to War: A Graphic Novel Hardcover. There are six floors, one for each race. Each of the stories are about 10 pages long. The picture is excellent, and the pages are nice and shiny. The stories give some great insight into the events leading up to the conflict you see in the game, and are fast, fun read.
The Art of Warhammer Online: If you like art the style of the game, you’ll love this book. It’s huge to 222 pages, concept with every race and class with a square, and several pages of monster art. explain in the pages of the book, the artists and designers, a little of their thinking that went into all designs. For me, the look of the game, especially an MMO, enormously important. It sets the feel and tone for the areas, races and classes. So, to an insight into what the artists think, and then see to bring this movement of thought in the game is really fun for me. The Art of Warhammer was the biggest reason why I went for the CE, and I was not disappointed.
In Game Bonus Items: There are actually more than are listed here, as I later in the section will explain quests. The Libram of Insight seems like a very practical element. It’s not only add a 15% bonus XP for an hour on the use, but a bonus to the influence and reputation gained as well. I have it still will not see me, I’m saving it for later levels when xp and renown are difficult to obtain, use
Other guests: The entry here is misleading. He says: “Twelve additional quests.” There are 12 additional quests, but it is important to note that there are only two additional quests per race. 2 guests and 6 = 12 races in total additional quests, but you will only be able to do two of them for each character you make. On the positive side, each of the two quests give you an exclusive title and reward items, none of which can otherwise be obtained, so that you can actually get 3 exclusive items and two titles, if you belong to Libram of Insight. The quests are not difficult and fun.
Makes
Bonus Characters Models: Again, misleading. You still have to choose 12 additional heads for any character. There are only two additional heads per race, one male and one female. 2-head models, six races, a total of 12 head models. Also, you need not choose the new head models at character creation. You receive in the mail, in the game (in fact, you get all the bonus content, such as in-game mail.) Then take the element that represents the head to expose a vendor in the game that can dye items, you They slot in the special trophy, and if you assume it is applied to your character. This action can not be undone. In addition, the models are not just a head full of models. Many of them hold what braided most of you head and elected to follow special trophy or feature to them, a blindfold over his eyes for the high elves, a small barrel in his beard, dwarf males, etc. The models are very unique, and in Contrary to the usual options are available, they are unmistakable. However, the main models and their implementation were the disappointing aspect of the Collectors Edition for me.
Overall, the Collector’s Edition WAR great. In most collectors editions, you might get a single point in the game, an artbook comments with little or no artist, and a large box of chocolates. Here you get a graphic novel, a huge art book full of insight to the artists, a miniature, 3 in-game items, 2 tracks, 2 quests, and at least a very strong head model, per character. If you’re a fan of the Warhammer world, and a fan of Warhammer Online, grab one of these Collectors Editions, as long as you still can!
