This game is essentially an HD version of RE4 with a Co-op ( 2 player) or online AI (computer controlled) partner. This game is best with one other player controls Sheva but its perfectly fine as a single player game. This gold edition re-release includes the following:

I had bought RE5 for the 360 when it came out first, but redeemed play RE5: Gold Edition for the PS3 with my PS3 buddies.
My main gripe with this game is that I personally think it’s only fun when playing with a friend of mine, playing with random strangers is usually a good alternative, but almost no one (including me) has a microphone to communicate with each other on PSN. The game with the robot-Sheva is a bit of a pain at times, but for the most part they are reliable and can provide for themselves. Another thing I find is a little frustrating the length of the RE: 5, the main screen of the game can be beaten easily within 6-7 hours. . . there is a professional mode you can unlock when you play the game in Veteran mode, and if you play it on any difficulty you unlock the two DLC chapters, there is some replay value.
The game will be in chapter format, there are 8 (2 where the DLC) in a total of approximately two. 5-1. 5 hours. As you can play the game you also gather resources that can then sell you to keep your arms kind of like in Resident Evil 4 upgrade rather than just upgrades and products by manufacturer, that masked man you are awesome by sections of the chapters in a menu screen .
The graphics are good, I never had technical problems as far as frame rate. The music is theatrical, the voice actors a mixture are evil and good, but those who are poor should be, along with campy dialogue that makes Resident Evil (previous example is bad: “They were almost a Jill sandwich!”), You will find the “bad” voice acting and dialogue so often with a character named Irving in this game.
if the game you can play the two chapters DLC , plays, one is a prequel with Jill and Chris, the other is, what I consider a plot hole filler, I’m not corrupt, but it basically explains where 2 sub characters were, while Chris and Sheva did their mission. The Gold Edition also adds some nice features like “The Mercenaries Reunion”, the previously unplayable characters contained in RE5 as well as some old favorites from Resident Evil 1, Sheva and Chris get new alternate costumes.
If you and a friend are bored and a little cash to beat this game before I, so it’s pretty fun, even in split-screen’s would rent.
I only recommend the Hardcore fans of Resident Evil, as it has to buy them to throw a lot to the original Resident Evil and other back then that theres really nothing to buy on this game, the screams are a must.
. . . and this is not really important, but the actual game for this game cover is very attractive, she has a paper cover over the PS3 game case, which makes it look as shiny as gold. . . go figure.
(Like I said … no matter, but seriously, when you see it in stores, it really stands out)

Resident Evil 5 is the latest installment in the Resident Evil series, and like its predecessors, has to run around fighting bloodthirsty zombies who want to eat your brains and other organs juicy they get their rotten teeth. Like its predecessor, “5″ is where the shift from survival-horror-action-horror, where you no longer have the rotational speed of a drunk hippo and are no longer bonded by cameras odd parts of an area of Duck Tape. And where there has been Resident Evil 4 in Europe, “5″ shall apply in the hot plains of Africa. There is a marked change of pace, and to some extent, the game really is not that scary, because most of it takes place in well-lit areas at the time of day which sucks much of the fear-factor. Add in the fact that you are now a partner with you at all times, wipe with enough weapons and firearms is a small third world country, and it is not surprising to hear that people say RE5 strayed too far from him roots and has ruined the FRANCHISE FOREVER.
However, I do not think that’s quite right. Although the game is not a survival horror, it exchanges downright terrified for tremendous tension. It is not unusual to walk around, surrounded by a dozen zombies, many of which implementation axes, machetes and other sharp instruments of death. Coupled with the fact that you take damage fairly quickly, and that you are often relatively low to provide ammunition for tremendous tension. There were many moments where I was literally sweating and my heart pounded as I tried desperately to hold off to get some very powerful monsters while waiting for an elevator. After a partner reduces the horror element, but again, these relations in the tension factor, as one is alive, as if one of you dies, the game to hold over.
I personally think there is much to enjoy. The run and gun gameplay (though it somehow wrong, which you can not move, is during the filming) works well, and that’s Gunplay much fun, especially when using some of the most powerful weapons such as rocket launchers, Gatling guns and mortars that shoot off rounds nitrogen, freeze the enemies so that you break them into small pieces frozen. It prints a huge selection of monsters to eat your brain, ranging from your standard zombies and dogs, evil chainsaw lunatic wearing burlap sacks over their heads to all sorts of nasties giants. There are also a lot of variety in the places you visit, from abandoned slums, marshes, at underground laboratories. Together with the fantastic graphics, and you’ve got a lot of love here.
Particularly noteworthy is going your partner, newcomer Sheva. While most AI sidekicks have the IQ of a head of lettuce is astonishing enough Sheva, actually quite capable of taking care themselves, and you, and more, once they come to help, if you’re dying. I also felt confident that they run around and gun down enemies on their own, without having to worry about their babysitter, a feat virtually unheard of in video games. However, it is not perfect, because it seems to have an almost religious devotion to their gun. Equip her with a shotgun, machine gun, grenade launcher and a pistol, and it will use the gun at every opportunity, even before a huge, multi-story monster that is clear of tiny bullets unharmed. If Satan emerged from the shells of hell to destroy the planet, I would not be surprised to see Sheva pull out their gun and try to kill him with it, rather than the wisdom and launching a tactical nuclear strike.
With regard to the length, the single-player campaign is about right, and while shorter than in previous entries, the game never feels too short. And to add icing on the cake, you can also go through the entire game with a friend in Co-op mode, and I recommend this way as it makes the game much more fun and joy. Once you have completed the single player campaign, the game has a lot of replay value to unlock different costumes, the ability to get infinite ammo for all weapons, the ability to play in the game, black and white, and the return of the Mercenaries mini-game. All in all, there is much you keep busy, and coupled with the already-fun campaign, this Resident Evil 5 makes a lot of fun to play many times.
This version of the game , called the Gold Edition has some new content that was not present in the original version of the game. You get two mini-games, four new costumes for Chris and Sheva, a versus mode and new characters for the mini-game Mercenaries.
The biggest addition to this edition are the two new mini-adventure “Lost in Nightmares” and “Desperate Escape”. “Lost” plays before the events of the main game and have Chris and Jill Valentine steals a creepy mansion, avoiding large, powerful creatures that want to kill them. It is reminiscent of the classic survival horror RE-structure, as the atmosphere is dark and scary, and a heavier reliance on puzzle solving, but then open fighting. “Desperate Escape” takes place on the end of the main game, the following two characters (I will not say who spoil it for those who will not be the most important match not played), as they escape fighting a heavily infested with their lives. It will not be easy, given that it numbers nearly a hundred to one. Both adventure, while the short (you completely under an hour or so in each) are still a lot of fun and definitely worth playing through, especially “Escape” swell as enemies and explode with such frequency that it is hilarious, especially enemies, huge backpacks’s sources as well, which, while impossible is damn funny.
The other major additions to the Gold Edition which, compared to Mercenaries Reunion and mini- Games. I have not played versus mode, so I will say nothing, then others say it you to communicate with other players online to try and head to kill each other can go. Mercenaries Reunion is essentially the same as the original, complete with the same steps, only with new characters, including classics RE faces like Rebecca and Barry (Barry I love you!). While I normally despise Mercenaries mode, here you can use all characters from the start, you get access to some very heavy firepower, but then a pistol and shotgun Dinky average means. As a result, I really had fun, something I thought was not possible with the Mercenaries mode, so this also gets a thumbs up from me.
The latest additions are four new costumes. Heavy Metal Warrior and Chris, both of which cry out, “Mad Max Cosplay” and fairy tales and business attire for Sheva. You get to unlock some new characters and to admire. All in all, are the new additions are a lot of fun and definitely worth a look in.
In the end, Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition worth? If you have not yet won the game then I would recommend this version, as you always are a lot of goodies that you would otherwise not be available. For those who can already the main game, download and buy the new content from the official PlayStation Store online, that you do not have to go and buy a new hard drive to be seen all the new things. So all in all, if you are a fan of the series, even if the focus is on action-horror it ruined FOREVER, Resident Evil 5 is definitely worth a look.

I’m almost speechless. Many years, Capcom, Resident Evil and survival horror fans bought the same game without the extra content for a higher * * price, then the content purchased separately for $ 12. Way to rip off your fans, Capcom.
