  1. Ok, let me this out of the way, I have played both the 360 and PS3 version by the first few chapters. I see no difference, both versions look fantastic! This is an absolutely beautiful game on both systems, I have the PS 3 version, because I bought still and always a fan of the Dual Shock controller, I think you could tell me a fanboy DUAL SHOCK.
OK some reviewers to compare the RE 4 hammered home, and that is fair, apparently did Capcom not of him that what worked for them, and RE 4 was a runaway hit stray. I like that the game “feels” familiar but different at the same time. I played the demo a lot to get around the controls, because we can all agree that they take a bit of adjustment from other 3rd person games. I know the purity of the game, Capcom decided to make the run and gun aspect of the game, but I can not tell you how often I was a Gears of War tactic to drag out of my a $ $ for some, the more intense encounters, but after adjusting to the RE state of mind, I adapted quickly.
The story has enough cheese to keep me happy, I’m perfectly happy with the story, my level of escapism with the game was just right, I need a life change to make history, to love me a game.
I can not recommend this game enough, it’s perfect for me in many ways. In my opinion, deserves my 5-star rating.

you add me for some co-op! I’m trying to get more friends on PSN!

    * EDIT * I added that the inventory / cash system is ridiculous lol. You can literally farm levels for money, ammunition, weapons and treasures over and over and over. . .
I love the game but online co-op is amazing.

  2. For the fans of Resident Evil 4: This is about the best RE4 sequel, hoping that you could. The graphics are excellent. It has many great guns and intense action, and attach it to play co-op mode to the mix. The controls have been improved slightly, as this new installment mirrors some of the changes that games like Gears of War and Dead Space have created the template RE4 in 2005. You can not move and shoot, and you can approach one disappointed with the fact that neither Leon return or the Merchant. If what you want to find out, you can stop reading.

Are they gone? Good. Now it’s just us in the room.

You guys remember Resident Evil. You remember the exploration, the emphasis on limited ammunition and weapons, increase the 3D characters against static backgrounds with shock-angle voltage. You remember the horrors that jumps. . . the “survival horror”. And if you remember RE4, then you remember that you already kiss to all those who leave.

You also remember the story line. You remember the evil, faceless Umbrella Corporation. You remember fighting with all its mad bio-organic weapons, monsters and zombies. You remember, like any other episode of the series became a final showdown with Umbrella crescendoing, all while revealing more and more secrets about the elusive enterprise. You remember the end of Code Veronica, which was set as a lead-in that aforementioned final confrontation with the next episode. And you also consider that RE4 was a result that the whole entire plot down the toilet in the very opening cut sequence rinsed. Let’s recap.

RE: CV Ending / Chris Redfield: “It’s payback time. We must destroy Umbrella. Now, let’s end this once and for all!” – The beam shoots into the sunset, the credits roll.
Opening RE4: Umbrella went bankrupt and was destroyed, there is something else.

Well. It was kind of anti-climax. So the whole climax of you (I am to you in the eye, Capcom) have been against this all the time whole building has already happened? And it all happened off-screen? It seems a big gap to be here. Pretty sloppy. I would go so far as to say that this opening cutscene turdbomb the biggest anti-climatic in the history of the Games. And what’s about this cult and mind-controlling parasite thing? Why is Leon is chased by a moving statue? WTF? The entire action of the game does not seem to fit into the general current of history, to set up at this time. So, how is the game? Well, the game is good. Very good even. It is a great action game (with emphasis on action), but I’m still scratching my head why this game is Resident Evil right in the first place.

And so, we were there, “The Umbrella Chronicles for the Wii, which was basically the half-baked, we answer the gap between RE was: CV and RE4, and it is not even part of the series numbered. And now, after four long years we finally have RE5. So, how is it?

So guys, it’s basically RE4 again with a fresh coat of paint and Co-op. Even the Plaga-infected villagers who have returned as the main enemies here, exactly the same animations that it has in RE4. Now I have this game for the development for a long time, and I do not think it would take four years, just to make other linear, go-from-Point (A)-to-point (B)-and- kill-everything-in-view, RE4-style game, but I think I’m wrong. Remember when they said that it will be new enemies in this game? Not plagas or zombies, but a whole new generation of the dead? What happened to it? What happened to talk to her that the heat meter next to your health, that if not lowered with water, you would start to hallucinate your character? It just feels like this game is much too afraid to try something else, RE4, and I think it is worse there. It does not work its own identity, and as much as I have teeth in this review have RE4, it was much more effective here in its execution as RE5. It is the co-op, this is definitely how the game is meant to be played. Play it increases with a buddy, in any case, experience, and the two of you have strategy development tactics. And as far as the AI goes, I’ve seen a lot of people about it, but I do not really have any problems with it at all. Sheva DOES combine herbs and things, but yes, you have most of the articles management for both characters that have become quite the pain, because the management can do the flow of goods in real time, and you are often surrounded by enemies. You can also choose your weapons with the Quick-pad, a control mechanic lifted directly from Gears of War. Apropos. . .

The default controls are is very confusing for beginners. One might think they have the ability to move, aim and shoot while to add. It is a clumsy way that the left analog stick only and does not mind if you want, and you must have the right analog button to your laser eye control. It just feels awkward, like something is missing. Because, well, there is no such thing. I find it incomprehensible that Capcom has the checks / extensions from the action-heavy Gears of War emulated, but decided to leave most of the practical use of these controls. The reason that there is no Run & Gun, according to Capcom themselves, because it racks up the tension that the series is known for, and that by the addition of run & gun would be RE5 strayed from its roots. Um. . . Follow along with us Capcom. This game is not true at all to his roots. This game is not survival horror at all. There are no creepy atmosphere or anything. The whole game takes place outdoors in bright daylight. I did not see a door opening sequence. Instead, there is a short trivia instruction in the load times between the doors to the next segment of the plane. This is an action game. It’s even more action than RE4. So, Capcom, Resident Evil is when an action game now, then it should be an action game.

As the story right away, it is better than RE4’s, but it says not much. Chris Redfield is now with a new anti-bioterrorism-organization as the BSAA, which sends him to Africa to biological weapons bust a deal, the descent into the region known Kijuju. It is here that he meets with his partner for this assignment, Sheva Alamor. From then on, there are a lot of twists and turns quite obvious. A few characters from the series past return, a few new ones are introduced, and almost all of the original plot threads are brought to a conclusion, culminating with the death of a certain prominent opponent. The story was kind of up and down for me. In a variety of ways, it felt like a true sequel, although many of the stupid crap attached to RE4. I was thrilled when Umbrella was briefly re-introduced and examined, and the section where Chris and Sheva an underground laboratory with a well-known stumbling BOW, which was great to see and had me longing for the good ol ‘days of the series’ past . As a hardcore fan, was that section alone is worth the price tag for me. But many of the big shows, like Wesker and Spencer’s true motives, designs and felt very cliché. The ending also felt strangely anti-climax, and by the time it was over, I was still with many questions unanswered. What ever do with Wesker Sherry and Steve? Whatever happened, Barry? Last I knew, the RE3 epilogue, he was heading to Europe with Jill and Chris. I would prefer more of these Capcom characters brought past as opposed to the introduction of more and more new ones. She had just all these plots. They would at least cause us to pack something that character arcs, as an epilogue file or something.

Overall, I found Resident Evil 5 to be pretty mediocre. Sure, there are give a lot of great features and tons of unlockables that there are a lot of replay value, but at the end of the day, this game is pretty forgettable. The gameplay was solid, four years ago, but it’s 2009 now. The things that were on the exciting RE4 then not so exciting now. Action games developed as follows with things like Gears of War and Dead Space, so RE5’s gameplay in the dust. It just feels stale. I have never boring as this with the classic Resident Evil games. I still do not understand why people are bitter at their controls so much. It takes you, like, ten minutes tops to the “Think Tank”-style controls used, and then they are a breeze. They become second nature to you. You should never have changed the formula. However, I also recognize that there is a new fan base now, a new generation of players who have no patience for the classic titles. The thing is, now with a lot of these children. . . The PS2 was, as their first system. And these PS3s and 360s are like their Super Nintendo. Capcom takes the series in a new direction for a new fan base, and for the oldschool RE fans, you can check here RE5 to be the last hurray. In other words, this is the de facto end of the series, which wraps up the original story, before more fundamental changes are made. Well, it’s been fun.

    RIP RESIDENT EVIL
    (1996-2009)

    UPDATE (2/28/10)
LOST in nightmares DLC PACK: Has read Capcom Amazon. com watch. . . ? It seems as if every cry from the old school fans have been this appeal in any way with this new amazing (albeit very short) little downloadable scenario, which covers a scene that was shown as a flashback in the original game. It has Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine infiltrating the estate of the infamous Ozwell E. Spencer – the Umbrella Corporation’s founder. For me, it feels like the game that RE5 should have been. To start things off, this scenario is a nocturnal setting, and actually some atmosphere has to offer, which included, feel that the classic Resident Evil. In fact, it is almost identical to the original manor RE1 and you will solve some riddles similar (if we choose to call it that – the puzzles are all pretty mindless fodder) want. Also none of that buying or upgrading weapons business is to be found here. You start with a handgun, and only use the little that you would otherwise have done to find the spot. Ammunition is very limited at the higher difficulty levels. It also passes on to another section if you lose all your weapons, and have access to instead of falling. This particular section is quite tight. The only minor gripes I have it too short, and I could have used more enemy variety (such as hunters have). They fight really only one type of enemy and he is basically the hangman with a new painting. But for five dollars, it is not too much to lose points for this, and it’s really a love letter to longtime fans. This scenario is reminiscent of the original, it goes even to the point of being nonsensical. For example, the “Keeper’s Diary” here from RE1, even though the document be destroyed long ago along with the original mansion, and the rest of Raccoon City for that matter. I remember another post you read here at Amazon with the title “4 / / Itchy Tasty … Is Gone.” It’s like they threw the thing there just for this guy. I mentioned lack the solid background, and there is an Easter egg that you can play with solid backgrounds in the Villa section (try though, fighting enemies in this mode is almost impossible now with the RE4 / 5 precision-target setup) . I mentioned the lack of Barry in my original post, and while they do not tie to have his character sheet or something, they throw him in the new “Reunion Mercenaries” mode, along with Rebecca Chambers. I would have liked, as they have in the actual game, but either way, it’s nice to see them again. Speaking of the Reunion Merc mode, although it’s pretty lame that you can not sign the new couple reunion with the characters from the original Mercenaries mode. It is his own lonely business. Anyway, I probably will not force the review of “Desperate Escape” DLC, but I felt, to speak this new Lost in Nightmares chapter, which I rate it 4 STARS from 5

< br /> Why not the rest of the RE5 could have been longer so?

  3. RE5 feels very much like RE4 with a new background and forced Co-op. In fact, that almost exactly what it is, but it is about half as long as his predecessor. There are more things to unlock and real-time inventory system is both beautiful and annoying at the same time. The fact that an egg now takes as much space as rocket launcher is annoying, and the fact that melee add / bulletproof vest inventory slots is also stunning.

That is, it makes fun to actually play and the game is easy enough away for most people in the right (after readjusting itself to the control scheme, to obtain the now obsolete). I give it a 4 of 5

  4. The complaint I hear myself repeatedly with video-game design, especially when the game is a disappointment that a team set not by professional game designers could, I noticed a problem to play after five minutes. Resident Evil 5 embodies the legendary franchise history aside, that complaint.

But let’s start with the GOOD:
    1) The voice acting and story are first class. The RE series has always walked like a good horror movie taught player, and RE5 is no exception. If there is a superlative I can heap on RE5, that’s it.
    2) The graphic is a flat-out performance. Fluid animation, smooth color, and very few frame rate slow-downs made for an incredible visual experience.
    3) Finally. . . a game that boasts the advantages of 5th 1 Surround. The player really feels like it in the middle of the action. More importantly, the sound design is so clear that you actually use the surround speakers to localize the position of the enemy.
    4) The online gameplay is incredibly fun. I played this for hours and there were no delays or disruptions.

    The bad:
So, as far as the visual and audio design goes, RE5 is amazing . But that makes the gameplay and that’s where RE5 falls flat. RE5 is inserted as a move away from a strict classification as a survival horror game, he wanted to move towards action-adventure. can and this is clear from the beginning in a not-so-subtle way: they are armed from the start, plenty of ammo packs are not scrounging for every weapon you as before to find entries in the series. Enemies are not accompanied directly with the player more, their arrival by setting up music.

All this sounds great, but it’s really not the way the game designers chose interact to make your character with their surroundings. As an action game, I expected swarms of zombies (there are) with the characters with the ability to work with everything and everyone interact them arouind (can not) do awesome close combat attacks against zombies (can not), and engage in pulse -pounding running and shooting (it can not). Think Max Payne meets Assassin’s Creed meets Dead Space meets GTA4. . . and you’re nowhere close to what RE5 turned out to be.

You can not move and shoot, or even move, and RELOAD! As a result, the strategy will get extremely repetitive: enemies, run to the opposite side of the card, you pick them one by one, take the ammo pack behind them, rinse, and repeat. Hordes of zombies, but no boarding windows, no melees shoot, but stop, run, run, stop, turn. It quickly becomes boring. Simply put, uses RE5 PS1 engine for PS3 technology.

How could pre-empt the development team not have this problem? How could a plug RE5 an action game and then take away the one thing that necessarily accompanies action. . . Movement?

At the end of RE5 is a disappointment. I will not completely prevent someone from this game, but rather suggest that if you go to pick him up, they reach for the other as I used to put them in the marketplace.

  5. *** *** Feedbacks
I always had my eye on Resident Evil 5, but then I started hearing a lot of negative feedback and read that it wasn’t worth buying. So I waited until the price dropped, so if I didn’t like it, at least I would spend just under $ 30 on it instead of 50 or older. But I really fun, the game is addictive and I can play all day and all night. It’s just to show that one need not really any other feedback. We all have different tastes and experiences when it comes to games and does not eveyone is like everything. Shall attempt to give it a shot despite what people say about them.

    *** Gameplay ***
I think the controls are the same as in Leon, including borrowing and Knife method. While the cut-scenes that you needed to press the right buttons at the bottom to be avoided death. Your partner is Sheva, it will be with you until the end at all times. Unlike Ashley Sheva is very valuable, reliable and intelligent! What I mean by smart, is the fact that they then knock on the head when enemies try to climb, they will even put it on again. If you give her the sniper rifle, they better perfect aim when it comes to distant enemy. It will heal you, give you ammunition when the firearm, which have, in accordance with its terms (it is then to take it out of her stock sale, and put it in). is the barrels and boxes in this and the only difference is that whenever you find one, you are guaranteed a little lift. I have found many more items from these places then in RE4.

The graphics, the way they move and facial expressions are excellent! There are a handful or many boss battles, tons of places to go and the gameplay is really what I like a lot of long! I think it’s an extra long chapter then RE4. You get a speed boat to navigate through the villiage go, you go to use machine guns / rocket while riding in the back of a truck to help kill enemies coming motorcycle youre doing so bascially all, requires teamwork.
< , br /> One of the things I like about the game greast finally had your hands on Wesker and a showdown with him. He movements are fantastic and I would say he is the second coolest game next Villain Sephiroth (FF7). The bad thing I hate it that people say this is the end of Wesker. The guy is just too cool in my opinion, but I also read that we are one of his brothers and sisters in the next resident evil game face when I read it correctly.

You can which you want to be, but everything, like the element of display windows and their health will choose each other on opposite sides of his character. For example, if Chris uses his knife with his left hand, Sheva will use their right hand. so it takes alittle while to use to get.

    *** *** Bad Things

    1) Sheva in the way out A LOT preserved, and it ends wasting tons and tons of balls, because they get behind Chris and shoots him in the back, although based on an opponent before the finish them or Chris. Although Chris is behind her and tried to aim at an enemy, they will get in the way. Just like his in every way, one can not win! lol. I usually try to stand next to her. But if you accidentally shoot at each other, do it all count. not relieve your life.

    2) One of the most annoying things about this game is the fact that it attracted a lot of idiots. What I mean by that, they will try to make this game into a racist video game. As we all know RE5 is set in Africa, most of your enemies are black. Okay, I am a black female, I get to use that most people arent to black people as video games and yes I drive a white dude named Chris shooting a couple of black dudes in the head, but he is really a choice? especially when these black dudes arent more in their right minds! Plus, he is a partner, the black shooting their own people to get. If you play some of the first few levels, I have noticed that there are fair-skinned zombies also that, as Arab or Indian or something, but not all of them were black. Also as someone else brought up, Leon scored a bunch of Spanish people in the heads, too, but i still havent heard any stupid people crying “racist” a racist! “. In Racoon City, there were both black and white zombies, along with some women. These two games are very identical and i did not find anything alarming about black zombies. In fact, I even forgot that they were black because it is something that i did not concentrate, I was too busy to beat the game. The people are so crazy Freaken

    3) There are no typewriter saving in this game, which is disappointing because its how they stopped the tradition of the Save method. I just died a few times, and it takes me all the way back to a certain point, forcing me to do everything again . do not know how to auto-save games that much, because what if there is something you have to do, and you can not really afford to play on? Enter the option to save is not in our hands.

    4) their list boxes are too small, Christ and Sheva can only 9 hits on time, but you will now find a lot of ammo and herbs around the place and you can not help but clench your teeth, if there is no space left. I have no idea what they were, by them as to think a little inventory

    5) The controls are really awkward at first, it was very difficult to obtain for me, hanging there, how difficult the camera settings were, but how you play with that you use to get it and forget to read everything.

    6) you can not find a lot of money (coins) in this game, it’s really tight, but the prices are sky high.

    7) You may need some Turn the music for his sometimes difficult to understand what the characters say, especially when it comes to their accents. Plus the labels are to Dain small, so its hard to read also know that, even if youre reading files, the words are hard to see, they could at least have the shadow in the background for us to read better. Now I do not have a HDTV or modern TV, so that could be the problem. I still have the same TV, I bought all the way back in…. perhaps 2004th

    8) One more thing about the inventory is the fact that you can not get away from the action while youre roaming through your inventory be created. You must go to take cover or use the inventory quickly before an enemy attacks you. There is no pause screen for their stock.

    ******** ************************************** ******** ** SAVE MONEY ************************************** ************ ***********< br />
I’m really really with the fact that they have a new RE 5 of the “Gold Edition” mentioned in the last minute if I I just bought, this is bascially the same game, but comes with tons and tons of extras are angry, like a 4 MORE costumes for Chris and Sheva, plus other gameplay would. Therefore, I suggest that you do not buy the original version of RE5 to buy instead of Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition. you get two or more things with this copy then this.

*** goodies to unlock & Main Menu ***

There are tons of things you buy or unlock it. At the end of each chapter, you get a certain number of points depending on how well you did unlock it. These points help stuff. There is a mode, either as bonus features or cheats, I forgot, but it will pull up a long long long list of things to unlock, develop character and enemy of files or other information in the library mode or unlocking unlimited ammo to read. There are a few outfits to unlock characters, each with three of his own and you can choose what you want to be as a standard. The menu is awesome. />

On the menu it is playing Mercenaries, You can either play with a partner (split screens), or you can play alone. There are about 7 chapters on these and bascially you to kill only as many enemies as possible before time runs out. You can unlock different characters in this mode . I havent fooled around with it much, timed events make me so nervous.: D

It is a sort of online gameplay, I’m not really sure because my ps3 isn’t yet set up properly .

I had a total blast with this game and I’m glad I shot him, Woo-hoo! This game is worth buying, especially if a long-time resident Evil fan are:) Oh yeah, and Chris is gorgeous!
