Did the Sony battery kit buy for my PSP slim, even though I already own the earlier larger battery, but luckily it was sold out, because I put on this extra battery door came instead. This set worked perfectly with the larger third 6V 2200mAh battery I bought for my PSP Slim. I use the larger door that comes with this set to accommodate the larger battery and the fit is snug and secure, while it is a bit of a push to Make It Work, and the door was still moving a tiny tiny tiny little bit . I also like to play more with the bulge on the side of the larger battery and door, as they keep the PSP makes it easier. I miss my Darth Vader battery compartment from the Star Wars bundle, but it’s worth it for the super long battery life. This product makes me happy.

The fit in your PSP Slim, if you use fat PSP battery need to close this door on your PSP battery hole.

When I traded my old PSP Fat for a PSP Slim to play this great chain, they did not want to extend my life, (2200 mAH take “Endurance”) battery. I held it, and found that it worked with the PSP Slim, although the Slim’s battery does not fit over it.
I was not about to buy the Sony entire Extended Battery Kit, because I already the battery. I only went for the extended battery door search of a manufacturer in North America and I found it. I am very happy with the result.
This part fits like it was from the OEM (which is also well done), and looks the part too. It is perhaps a shade darker than the plastic on my PSP Slim Piano Black, but the Polish / gloss is the same, and the difference in color is not really noticeable. Yes, my PSP Slim is now a bit thicker at one end, but that’s not enough to mess up the Slim Form Factor for me.
More time between charges is good for me, especially since I use on my PSP which tend to travel. The new door looks like a normal part of the device, which is good, if you randomly selected at an airport security checkpoint. I’m sure some Jerry-rigged (tape) would attract more attention. (The extended battery lasts for a long time in the Slim. The internal battery estimator says 11 hours on a full charge, but I’m pretty sure I got more, mixing music playback, games and a UMD movie.)
