If you buy this game?
If you are in RPG, strategy and rhythm games, then this game for you. If you do not know what the excitement, and wonder if you should buy this game, I recommend you download the demo. This game can be challenging the rhythmically-challenged (RC), like me. However, playing the demo I was hooked, so that I have bought the game and not put it down in two days. If you are an RC, you can to defeat this game, BUT Patapon 2 has implemented two major improvements over the first Patapon that P2 more fun for those who can not keep up makes Rhythmn. Before I tell you about the improvements here are some basic facts about the game.
BASICS: You control an army of cute one-eyed tribesmen, and on any level, you try it from the left side of the screen move to the right in typical 2D side-scrolling action. You will be confronted with obstacles and enemies. You can defend attack, and move forward. This is the rhythm, where part of the game takes place. To move your army to attack or defend, you have to hit a four-button sequence to the beat of a drum. The sequences are each for each command, but it’s not hard to remember. The most difficult part is to remain one, because if you play to lose, a command is not issued, and your army is vulnerable.
WHY Patapon 2 is better: Here is Patapon 2 separates from the first Patapon. It has a simple level, so forgive it if you are a little out of your four-button sequence. The other features that make P2 better (there are more than just a couple) will not get you on the 4-key sequence to nine consecutive nail “fever.” Fever your soldiers is transformed into super-soldiers (stronger, faster, more resistant to damage). In Patapon 1 if you were a little off beat, you lose a fever, but are in Patapon 2 is a warning to you (a skull!), So that you know you are away, so you have another opportunity to straighten himself. < br />
4 STARS WHY? I can not remain silent about all the great things about this game, but I’ll address why I do not there might be a fifth The game is very repetitive. You have a lot of levels you have already deleted again to collect “food”, “weapons”, “materials, etc. (the RPG element). There are a lot of trial and error because you do not really know where Get the materials you need to upgrade your soldier (every soldier is customizable). The evolution tree is beautiful, but it took a while for me to find out. You really have to grind some levels, under, over and on the return of other material, and you have an overview of the weather (always), because you can get a slightly different level, if the weather is sunny, rainy, foggy, or snowy. Some monsters only come during the “fog” or “snow” and this monster bear rare items you need.
Overall: It is a great game, give try the demo, it is quite long and it’ll give you a taste of what to expect. Plus, you get all your work on the demo to make the game so you do not need to repeat this level, how big is that?

This game is a 9 / 10 for me. Patapon 2 has several improvements over the original Patapon, and I will be adding them (in my opinion, start):
* More units – usually I do not like a lot of units, especially if it does not Add game, but the horses and flying Patapon Gameplay additional dimension added
* Evolve or level up units instead of killing / remaking them – this one of the biggest dilemmas solved in Patapon. You can even choose to experiment with an upgrade, but not to use it without having to kill off a Patapon permanently, just to try it. In addition, regular Patapon level up meaning you can benefit from a good mix. There are some disadvantages, but this is mostly a plus.
* More and enemies to fight – There is much more interesting battles and bosses than the original Patapon
In addition, , the game feels a lot better gear – more content, without a big leap in learning curve as the original was. Which could be a bad thing, if you are really up to the limits. I would say that Patapon one was more fun in the Do or Die difficulty was because there were times you had to beat a stage further and be bonded. Patapon 2 offers you more choices for the structure and level, if a stage is too hard. That is, there is a simpler game, it just /> not the bottleneck stages “issue so much.
Have fun!

If you look carefully at all the other posts is the only reason they rate it low because there is no UMD and you have to buy from the PSN. Big Deal. I will say that in times of a manual to explain some things would be nice.
Now to the game. This game is almost not really Patapon 2, Patapon, but more like a newly defined and expanded. There is no change in the image, but there are significant changes to the first one with multiple classes of Patapon, and several kinds of challenges. There are also more and more juju’s materials to create your Patapon out. In addition, an integrated evolutionary tree on your recent Patapon (this includes not only have different properties, but now you can beat going with the materials, thereby building their strength to lvl). Therefore, the base of the game is, and they just expanded on it. In addition, the hero class, which is several types of classes to choose from, each with its special attack.
My only complaint is important that the game should come with at least one online guide to the intricacies to explain the game.
I personally do not believe that it is essential that first before they buy, but it makes things easier.

(Note: This review is the PSN download version of Patapon 2 is based.)
Pata Pata Pata Pon! FEVER! After five minutes of this game, you will repeat these words. The sequel to one of the largest PSP and handheld games of all time, Patapon makes an incredible comeback with a second Patapon As a die hard fan of the first title, I can tell you that Patapon 2 bigger is better, and ready for all who dare with a much larger arsenal of villains, challenge bosses, missions and rhythmic chaos. With many more weapons, missions, this game is a big improvement, but the best feature I think the Hero Patapon, Patapon a single unit that can be customized according to your wishes and is in a sense, the leader of your army. If the fever mode, the hero devastating special attacks preform, and when the hero falls in battle, he will be right on the field! Another good addition is the three new Patapon warrior types: Toripon, Robopon and Mahopon that add a very good addition to the games already growing arsenal of ways to take down this new threat to the Patapon race.
Although if your looking for a fun game that is easy and you can blow in one day, then this is not for you. This game may look easy, but actually very difficult as you progress. You can find repetitive boss fights or the hunting of bulk up your army, so that you have to defeat a greater threat. It can sometimes tedious, but worth it in the end. The pride and glory of this game is to create the biggest baddest army you can and all the forces that crush in the way!
;
The Zigotons again as well, but the real threat of Patapon 2 are the mysterious Karmen strain that too much devoted to maintaining the Patapon army seem to be away from Earthend at any price. The story line is picked up directly after the first track, and it is still a strong, satisfying gaming experience for everyone for a good challenge, and for anyone with good rhythm!
All in all, this game has more missions and more game time, and conquer more challenging rhythmic adventure. For the fans of the first Patapon, you will not be disappointed in the least. For those who have the game, I suggest you play the first track, but either way you go, you can help, but fall in love with this crazy little eyeballs, and you can not help but wonder how the journey will end! For returning players, you will leave, and, I can not wait to see what the real EARTHEND IS! : D! May the Patapon live forever! CHAKA PATA PON DON
PS It is true that this game is not in a UMD format. As far as I’ve heard of retail at Patapon 2 only has a download voucher for the PSN. However you go, retail or PSN, it is a digital download. No UMD is released from immediately, or at all, as far as I know. : P Happy gaming!

I’ve never smiled so much before a game. Patapon is deceptively simple. The one-eyed creatures are so cute! I never played the first, except in a brief demo. I downloaded it via the PSN rather than buying the box with the voucher. I admit I was a little off when I saw there was no UMD checked, as I am of the mentality of physical possession. Espicially as the download version is no different in price than the coupon box. Is not the point of the downloads will cost be reduced? This smells like Sony tried to use the game to kill the market. OK, enough of my ranting. Bottom line: Buy Now!
