So this is the 3rd Iteration for the Playstation Portable.
I have personally experienced the first 2, selling my original PSP Phat have for the PSP Slim (2000).
I done the same again and sold my slim and bought 3000th
The improvements over the PSP 2000, an improved LCD screen, which I say is, be quite improved, and a built-in microphone. (Finally I can have Skype and online chat function to use in PSP games.)
So this is a legitimate upgrade? For the improvements not really.
But if you now in the market for a PSP. . . The PSP 3000 is an ideal entry into the PSP World.
Also follow-up of the PSP 3000, the start, the firmware-5. 00, the Playstation Store (PS3 found) brings to the PSP.
But this firmware will be hitting all iterations of the PSP.

The first thing I would like to say is that the scan lines are not nearly as big as a problem to make the other to be. I only noticed easily, and they are completely overlooked when comparing the overall quality of this new screen. It is lighter, has a higher contrast and more vivid color display, and ghosting is no more.
The games included Ratchet & Clank and echochrome are both terrific in their own respect, but I’ll have Echochrome hand. It is a brilliantly made puzzle that presented as beautiful as it is nuts.
I recommend this device if you have a PS3, as have the Remote Play capabilities. The ability to stream video, music and photos wirelessly is a dream. And now Sony offers its Media Manager as a free download it’s a snap to add your own music and media right to the 1GB memory stick provided.
The best part about ownership a PSP is that most games you really want, are now around $ 20, so you can beef your library for cheap.
All in all, I love the PSP 3000 , do not let the worries of the image lines scare you away.

I’ve now had for 4 days. The pictue quality is much better. The screen is brighter and richer faster, with deeper colors. I have every incarnation of the PSP ownership and this is my favorite. If I one from the year 2001, I played noticed that fast moving objects blur caused, as many older model LCD. The 3001 does not, its always clear and the screen looks fantatasitc now with a larger gambit color than the older models. I have no opinion on the built-in microphone, because I do not have to use it. But I guess it’s better than not using one. I’m really impressed with the many improvements have been made for the Sony PSP software as well as clever. The PSN Store is a great improvment now “Remote Play” will power on your PS3 via the Internet or LAN.

The PSP 3000 is like a minor update that I really do not see the point in Sony PSP released this as they already published last year. I have a PSP 2000, I said, let me try to see the PSP 3000 and if the screen is really that much better. The answer really is not. While better color than the PSP 2000, the PSP 3000 does not, it is very low. Looking at the pictures online you would think it would be important, but it is not, it is not nearly as good as the pictures on lead. The reaction time is better, but again only slightly better, just enough to eliminate ghosting, but not motion blur. Again, I expected better. I think LCDs have response times now that almost eliminate the motion blur. Finally, the AR coating. This screen is the same reflective screen from the PSP-2000 there is no difference between the PSP 3000 and PSP 2000. It is just reflecting no improvement for playing in a bright room or outside. So after that I have the PSP 3000 back and got my money back. If you do not have to buy a PSP and you want this is a good choice. But not upgrade from a lean to this is not worth it.

I originally bought a fat, but if it only played my friends broke in 2000. I bought the three thousand. It was not only lighter and thinner, but the quality of the sound and feel of the more granular the face plate of my gaming experience completely changed ** **! The graininess of the front panel provides a better grip and also removes smudge marks. So I would this product five stars **********! ten
