  1. I bought both the Sony and Logitech polycarbonate cases. While I like the idea of additional polycarbonate screen protector (which was more beautiful to just above the PSP screen rest to not touch directly) holding for 2 UMDs and 2 memory sticks, and the strategically placed rubber buffers have to say I that, in my opinion, the Logitech case wins out through the nose.

The Sony PSP does not hold in the firm, and is done with the screen protector, it will not allow the PSP out. This could be an important factor in the decision to some people. However, my problem with the screen protector that it is so difficult for the PSP (in principle to resolve slide in the bolt, but is the case, “appropriate form”, that it move any extra space for the PSP so to have that display latch). This change makes it much more pain, because neither of UMDs case you will do this without the PSP from the case.

The other question I had with the case that Sony will not not happen with the Logitech case have noted that the opening for the headphone jack on the Sony case, only slightly off from where it needs to be (it is located too high). This has the unfortunate effect of forcing you to raise the PSP in the case of light, which for me is the PSP screen makes contact with the polycarbonate screen protector (a scratch just waiting to happen). It is possible that my case is somewhat defective, and that others had no such problem, but as I have it as part of my posts must be.

So all in all I think Sony PSP Travel Case is definitely worth doing and if you will not change UMDs often, I think it is very similar to the Logitech case. However, does the difficulty in disengaging the screen protector and the problem with the headphone jack opening of the Sony case, my second choice for my PSP.

  2. This is a clear, polycarbonate case to protect your valuable investment. It is very similar to the popular Logitech PlayGear Pocket. Both cases are made from a very durable, clear polycarbonate. Both are positive, with access holes in the right places, you play with your PSP while it is safely protected inside the case allows. The Sony PSP Travel Case is a little larger than the Logitech. Inside the case is a specially shaped rubber material that keeps your PSP secure. This material protects your console from external shock. It is larger than the Logitech, the fact that it take into space for two UMDs inside.

I chose this case over the Logitech because it is a screen protector that integrates into the case is added. This screen protector for your PSP also holds and keeps them in force even if the case with the lid open. As long as the screen protector is closed and locked, the PSP will not fall out, even if you open the case on its head with the case. From my perspective, this is an important additional measure of protection. These cases are designed to hold the PSP at all times. You have access holes in the right places, so you play with your PSP while it is safely inside.

At first, it is cumbersome to use PSP, while in the case the. The open cover can sometimes touch the fingers of the third finger, while holding the case are. And the case is hard. If you are used to operate a bare PSP, the extra mass will take some time to get used to it. However, they hold for body armor for your Sony. Just like a real bullet-proof vests can take to save the lives of men, can this case, save the functionality of your PSP. Basically, the biggest threat to your PSP is always liked. It only takes a drop, an accident, an elegant turn PSP into a brick break. I mean Sony PSP as a long-term investments and therefore not something disposable. I am ready to take the time and allow me to get used to the case. There is a trade-off between comfort and protection. It’s up to you to decide where that is trade-off for you.

I have not performed a drop test “on the device. I can not tell you that your PSP is a five-foot drop to survive on asphalt. There are too many variables and too many things can happen that affect whether your PSP will survive an accidental drop. I have not the “200-pound carefree younger brother, who carried out randomly on my PSP” SAT-TEST. The only test I have done is to see a 50-pound stack of books on an empty stack case, whether it will break. I am glad to say that the case survived quite well. The anecdotal experience of a user does not mean that your experience will have the same result. The best advice is to always be aware of where you choose your PSP operation. Standing in the middle of a concrete driveway during a game is always a bad idea. This scenario presents too many opportunities for you falling on your device can be. And is it not reasonable to believe that your housing is guaranteed polycarbonate that the PSP to keep safe in case of any accident. If you play with your PSP just by sitting on the sofa in the living room, then it may exaggeration to think in this case at all times. Where do you play, how careful you are, and how much you value your Sony will determine the level of protection you need.

  3. - Same length and width, the case sits on Sony PSP. 5 inches taller when closed

    – Logitech case has a rigid lid, so you can partially open like a car sun visor to keep out when light is in the sun; Sony cover
    – Sony Screen Protector is the case that, as mentioned above, a few scratches and is difficult to open

    – Sony lid has space for two UMD games / movies and memory stick

    – Sony case has rubber feet at strategic locations such as on the cover when opened lip, to a movie (great for airplanes in turbulence view) < br />
I have both used and as a traveler that case, dear, I can see films on a tray, without slipping into the PSP and is two games / movies and all MP4 videos on a Memory Stick the same thing to pack. Airplanes are usually darker, so I do not notice the scratches on the screen guard at all. Your needs may be different, would the Logitech case, a better choice for you.

  4. For Christmas I got a PSP 2000 (PSP Slim) as a gift and wanted to protect my investment. After reviewing many decided cases for the PSP I this case. I liked to the idea, extra UMDs and memory cards hold and keep my PSP firmly in place while it into the case. This case has all these extraordinary things.

My only problem with the case was that the PSP 2000 is too small to have the screen, in the case place safe. Others suggested they make a small piece of cloth on the PSP 2000 and fit more snuggly Latch-screen instead. I tried this and ended up damaging the screen. The fabric was too bulky (my fault) and causes the screen to press against the top of the case and the UMDs I had and I now have two deep circular scratches in the case of the screen. My PSP-2000 screen is still perfect, but if it is hard to see the screen on the scratches. I did however, find an alternative method of getting the PSP to fit snuggly in 2000 in this case and protect it even better.

Sony PlayStation Portable Slim (PSP) JAVOSkin – The Low-Profile Soft Case (Black) is a glove for your PSP 2000 ONLY! This combined with the PSP Travel Case PSP 2000 makes the fit snug and protects the PSP even better.

As for the headphone slot, you only take an ice pick, and heat to melt it and a hole large enough to fit your headphones in. I also read more about the screen to unlock hard due to the fact that the PSP snuggly it will match that it does not give you enough space to open it, without fear damage to your screen. I’ve never had this problem. Maybe it’s because I open the latched screen a different way. Instead of pressing the latch against the PSP, I press the foot part of the PSP (where the network jack on the right and the lanyard loop on the left) with my thumb off the bar while placing my index finger against the right case by the right and the left bumper. This will open the latch out of place due to loss of pressure (which keeps the handle in place).

This case has been through hell and back! I’m in the Army in Iraq and carry my PSP wherever I go. It is in my pocket, and when I get some downtime I can pull out my PSP and watch a movie or play a game. The case has deep scratches, stains and was cracked by my gun, and sat, kicked, dropped, thrown (bad mood), and basically abused excessively. If I change my PSP or remove sand from UMDs, I can not help but admire the fact that my PSP still in perfect condition, despite all that it has been through.

  5. I bought this as a temporary solution to my PSP slim hold up especially for the cases were slim. Well, still not found one, I thought this case.

Although made for the original PSP, the slim fit pretty well. The screen is not the case * * snap closed, but the weight of lean keeps it in place. Most of the holes line up except for the headphone jack, which is fully covered by the case. This can be by simply cutting out the small piece of the case that the headphone jack (a metal knife to work on a heated stove covers are fixed large!).

If you have a case when a state that was a must for me, then this case double working great for a slim, just make sure that the necessary adjustments, if you want to use a headset, like on a plane or something. It also holds two games and two sticks, so that plus what you think is in the PSP itself, you have 3 sticks between panels and go.

Now I have it a little changed, this case is perfect, I have no need to search for Slim-specific cases.
