With literally thousands of tips for Halo 3 on the entire internet and print media, I’ll let you decide for yourself. Instead, I will confine myself to just this issue of Halo 3.
First off, if not let the price tag, you know, this is only for serious fans. If you are a casual fan, or maybe you’re the occasional local match, youd be better off with the limited edition, or just normal. This is only for those who live for Halo.
The packaging is mythic. It’s a hell of a lot bigger than it looks in these pictures. The helmet is the size of an adult’s head, plus the base. The box is wrapped with a very cool Legendary Edition poster, will be open so cautious. Inside it’s pretty simple. A helmet, a base, and two DVD cases.
The helmet is beautiful. It is made of plastic, making it habit weigh a ton, but man, it looks the part. It slides over the base, which is also very impressive. on the back is a serial number.
The discs. First, get the game disc in a black DVD-style case with a darker cover as the other editions. This CD is identical to all other editions.
the other DVD case has two DVD’s in it with special features. One of them is the same as the limited edition, with behind the scenes, interviews, etc etc. lots of fun there, very comparable to Halo 2 is the special eidtion.
2 Bonus CD has a few features on it, like the voice of Cortana go on a PR tour, bonus episodes of Red vs. Blue and This Spartan Life, and a complete bestiary, which really was cool for any fan of the canon. < , br />
The base has plenty of room for DVDs in it. I took on the bonus DVD and keep Halo 1, 2 and 3 in it all, they fit well with room to spare.
I think the legendary was originally to the metallic case like the limited edition to to get to the wider area in the base.
Was it worth $ 130? Yes, but barely. The helmet is what really sold it. the extra bonus features are cool, especially the Red vs. Blue episodes, but if youre an important and talking friggin MAJOR Halo fan (like in Halo on accounts. Bungie. org, read all the novels that have their own soundtracks, downloaded every movie on XBL and have a Halo 3 Zune), then not necessary.

Halo 3 is buy the game immediately. One would think that would be not the case with the monstrous advertising campaign which it lives the way not only to Burger King, but on the sides of Pontiac cars, but believe it or not, this game up to the hype and surpasses it in just about . every possible way.
Whether the game in single player mode or online against or with other people, you’re pretty much guaranteed to be entertained from beginning to end. I particularly enjoyed the storyline to the single-player game this time as Halo 2 was not exactly the most fun I had playing a single player campaign. Not only that, but you can use up to three others online in cooperative mode to play and it’s great fun if a little too easy, even on Legendary difficulty. Graphics, sound and control are all exactly what you expect from the franchise and they have so many bells and whistles on all modes and all new modes, what are you left with is an amazing package, which is pretty much has guarantees entertainment for the next few years, no question.
Now. . . . Here is the question: which edition you get? I’ve got the “Legendary Edition” with the helmet, and while it is a cool piece of art, it is a little steep to get what you. You will receive an extra disc of content as well, so it is not, as you pay an extra $ 70 or so U.S. dollars are given to only a helmet, but it’s a lot of money on a game, blow, no matter how you cut it . The disc has an extra feature worth mentioning: a film of all cinematics from the first two games in a two-hour-plus film in combination, if you will. It’s pretty cool, not to mention, it makes for a good refresher on the events from the first part of the story.
I think it’s just a question of how much of a fan you are and whether you have the money to blow. I would not be considered a must in the blood of all your children and your children have children, but it’s kind of cool in a strange way. It is about the same size as a human head, and it is detailed and instantly recognizable.
I do not regret the purchase, but at the same time, if you look at the Special Edition coming for the GTA IV look, you notice that you have many more things (and pretty cool stuff is received) for a lot less. If you have the money to blow, she lost and you do not mind, I’d say go for it but only if you really sure that you fancy-shmancy case for your games. And if you do not have room for him, not even bother.
And no, you can not wear that thing. It is just for show.

Halo 3 – Circa 2007
GOOD:
– Four-player online (or offline) co-op gameplay allows two, three or four players play through the game from beginning to end. A co-op player can come into the game at any time and go at any time (note only one of you will play as Master Chief, while another will play as an arbitrator and the other two players elites, with the work people)
– Great looking graphics and animation, which look even better then Halo 2, FEAR and just as good as Bioshock, while these graphics could not see as good as Gears of War do to some people these graphics still are some of the best seen to date.
– Intense multiplayer action online through Xbox Live with matches as small as one to one, and as large as 16 players (offline and with Xbox Live use either spilled screen or System Link). Halo 3 Halo 2 is similar in the sense that if you play a multiplayer rank (this rank may go up or down at any time) this rank is representative of your abilities and go there you are setting your bets with other Type of your skills, in this way new unskilled players and hardcore veterans do not often play against each other when they make a special game that itself ignores rank.
BAD: < br /> – confusing plot to new players of this franchise – Playing Games permeable and read the Halo Novels, fill in the details if you are prone, they are learning.
– No Clan Support (like in Halo 2) – This may get corrected in a future patch
– The game is as short to some (Campaign Story Mode).
if it is your taste perfect: to fight
– A sci-fi first-person shooter with fast pace and vehicle.
– Co-op, and online versus / team games of the Big Draw here.
– NEW MODE: Forge is a mode that you edit all the maps in Halo 3 allows, you can not, although the reconstruction of the cards can even add in this mode and take any and all objects from vehicles and guns to spawning points and flag zones. This is all in real time and you can make friends, to this mode while your customizing the map (s) to invite, they can play a multiplayer game while your in this way (and not just wait on) and if you want you can edit want to do without the card and join the game at hand as either a player or the map editor (which looks like 343 Guilty Spark), while in the map editor you can add and take any and all objects from vehicles and guns to the spawning points and flag zones any time you want.
– NEW MODE: Theater Mode is a video editor that lets you record and play back any and all matches from Campaign, Multiplayer, and Forge mode of the perspective of any player either in first person or third person (even in a orbit-cam where the camera circles around the player) in real time (You can also pause this at any time and return on-and), even with your camera want to fly around the game and see the game from every angle, do not forget, you must save your videos before you turn off the game or you lose said videos. You can also take a picture at any time and save it on your Xbox 360, then upload your image at Bungie. com.
his ASSOCATED GAME TOO:
– Halo 2 (Xbox)
– Halo (Xbox)
– Resistance : Fall of Man (PS3)
– Bioshock (360)
– Gears of War (360)
For more information:
– There are bonus items from the Campaign Story Mode called Skulls scattered get these “Skulls” will make the game harder (by doing things like turning off radar for the rest of the campaign mode, your game is), but is also hard you Increase your meta game score for the campaign mode.
– There are two different Limited Collector’s Edition of the game. One is as a limited edition that comes in a metal box and a bonus disc (with behind the scenes videos and stuff) and also comes with an art book. While the other limited edition (so-called “Legendary Edition”), you will find an art book a mini poster two bonus DVDs (with behind the scenes videos as well as a collection of all cut scenes form Halo and Halo 2 and themes you can download your 360) and the IT will hold a plastic Master Chief helmet on your DVDs in (helmet, the size of a volleyball).

The Game:
But Halo is the most fun I’ve had in years. The music is wonderful, and everything about the game seems to work well together. It is obvious there was a lot of time in Polish, and brought balance. The first time I’ve finished the campaign could not wait, play again. Halo 3 has tremendous depth and replayability. Like a huge Firefly / Serenity fan, I absolutely was thrilled by. . . eh, I’m going to either. spoil
I am not a real gamer. I am 34 and just can not keep up with the children.
The Legendary Edition:
The helmet is expected much higher quality than I am. It is solid, has together with screws (not easy snap-lock), and the color of real depth. The packaging, while larger than that of the 360 console is good but not great, it is obviously still paper and cardboard, with some less-than-legendary corners and edges and downright cheap molded plastic positioner inside. Microsoft should have hired Apple’s packaging designer for this one. The DVD case insert for the game CD is different (and cooler) than the standard Halo 3 package.

The game is the game, nothing else. Here are tips that all over the Web.
The other features, such as behind the scenes, etc., can all this be found.
< br /> HELM: That’s one thing you can not get elsewhere. This review is for people who want to know: the helmet is worth it?
In short, YES
When I first saw pictures of this version with the helmet, it seemed to me that the helmet would be a hollow, plastic, Halloween-costume-type toy. But as a fan of hard core, I bought it anyway.
You may already know that the helmet is not full size. It is also not acceptable. But what you can not tell from the pictures is that the helmet is heavy and massive.
It is not out and gutted the inside hollow, but it has a light rectangular opening, about based fits (where you and your Halo Games Store). It comes equipped in the box with a special cloth covered specifically for the helmet.
Each also has a unique serial number (big deal, but still cool).
I do not think is to think of it, spend $ 130 dollars for the legendary version, but I think of it as spending $ 70 extra for the helmet. For me, this helmet is definitely worth the $ 70 as a collector’s item.
