This joystick is not working properly programmed with most Xbox 360 Flight Games, due to a large deadzone in most games.
If you do not know what is a deadzone, it is basically the size of a room, where every movement of a stick is not recognized. If the dead zone is too small, even tiny movements is an input register. But if it is too large, a player must make large movements with the stick at nothing registered. Is
The deadzone is to make it easier for gamepad players, but the side effect is that air Saitek Stick sticks it suffer from lack of precision. Only the 360’s HAWX game, the problem has been raised. For Ace Combat and other games, the huge deadzone small, fine movements makes it almost impossible. You are much better with the thumb sticks to the standard gamepad.

I prefer using a separate controller and thrust unit, but I do not have a table and chair setup, only one bed, and so I needed something I could hold in my lap. For Hawx, this stick works really well, except for occasional back fall to reach a torch. Left hand on the thrust, the right hand on the controller, and you have 99% of what you need, including rudder (stick twist). This is a good controller responded that the game is fun a lot more than the normal controller!
I am satisfied with my purchase and I would definitely buy again. But I would [prefer to pay. . . ] Bucks more and have better control design.
Overall, this is a first-class controller (that is good, not great), but the low price and the lack of options on to push the market to give me 4th Hope this helps!
Here are given some general design problems: 1) The buttons on the back accidentally pushed from time to time when you have the controller on your lap. 2) The rocket button in the middle with no way to remap the left button. I guess they did this for left-handed but I think they could have used black unmarked buttons, made press the left button and the rocket has a manual switch to the reverse rocket from the button on the left to right. 3) The flap over the button is pretty stupid.
>> PS I paid $ 49. 99, beware of price gouging by third parties.

I received this controller from a competitor by reason of the fact at the time, strangely enough, this same controller was mis-cheap on Amazon for almost 120th 00 for the Xbox 360 console version (no PS3). The stated price is now just (about 50 dollars) – and I would certainly buy from Amazon – this website is great.
All I can say is, whooooooahhh. Put the baby in the Xbox 360 USB port and you’re ready for the intense fighting. Sooooooo much fun. I have Ace Combat 6 – Blazing A 2 – and Hawx just so I could buy the joystick (the games from Amazon:-P experience). The low weight, the others are perhaps mention shortcumming about the only think I can, but they influence DON “T (emphasis on DON” T) gameplay at all. This cool joystick sits directly on your lap, if you will work for both left handed and right handed – and sits remarkably stable on a flat table. The control is precise, amazing, ergonomic and not incorrect. Changing Views of a first person in the cockpit, and stick with this absolutely fascinating. Do not hesitate to buy this device. The next generation Flight Games are crazy – but they get a whole new interactive level placed with this stick.
Not a gimmick, you just have a better control of the aircraft and weapons, with this stick – straight up balls on the walls blast:)

I have several 360 games now with this floor: Hawx, Ace Combat 6, Blazing Angels and Project Sylpheed (a space shooter), and finally it makes the games much more fun playing. It is perfect for Hawx, AC6, and Blazing Angels game configured – Plug and play easy. I had to tweak the controls a bit for Sylpheed, but could come relatively easily wonderfully with a configuration that worked. It is a very different and, IMO, superior experience compared with flight games with a joystick to move the Xbox controller, and the PS41, the trick works well. And it is a great value as well! Now I have to just hope we get a few more games to play on it.

This is a light control, but very well balanced. You have brought them to a level where your arm is down or horizontally. It is very well calibrated at the factory, but I doubt that last more than a few years would use.
It works just like the MS Flight Sim X Deluxe. I did not have to install drivers for it to Saitek. I would probably more ways to share the keys with Saitek reassign app, but have not tried that yet. By the way, this is 7100th in Windows 7 Build RC
